badinfluence: The only thing they owe us is getting Nigerians on the show. That is the only thing you are entitled to. Nothing concern business man with tribe allocations. You people should get over yourselves already. Do you police every Nigerian movie to ensure they have equal representation of tribes in the movie? Abi o. When we have hundreds of tribes in a country. How many contestants should they have to meet up to the satisfaction of those towing the line of tribe. |

ringi82: Who can fix a redmi note 9s that keeps rebooting itself. At first, if I plug it on power supply it stops rebooting. But now, it has gotten a lot worse, even after plugging it on direct power I read on CDA thatthis is a common issue in a lot of Redmi 8 and 9 series phones, due to constant heating and cooling the overcurrent protection fuse on the battery gets a weak connection and starts randomly cutting the power. To solve this issue, it was stated that I will need to open the phone and apply some more solder on the contact of the fuse. If that still doesn't work, then I will need to remove the fuse and short the connection. I need someone who has the work gadgets to perform the above task. Contact Igemburg. |

credon: Ah okay o, another con is 50mp main cam and side mounted fingerprint It is not by MP size. Sensor size and ISP is more important. I don't see the FP sensor as a big deal as the RN13 5G also had it's FP sensor on the side which is the direct comparison for the RN14 5G |

credon: Redmi note 13 4g Redmi Note 13 4G is not as good as Redmi Note 14 5G. The only CON I can see is lack of OTG though I will wait till when reviews and updated specs are revealed. But performance wise the RN13 4G is way behind. |

Azazyel: Where is the lie? It's actually true for most of the time. I remember a guy dropped a message here sometime ago about playing EFootball and his Redmi 10c network wasn't as sharp as the one on his friend's pop 8. I told him not to bother much but when I carried out the study, I noticed that my Poco device had a weaker signal compared to my Tecno device in some areas even while on the same network. Every brand have their weakness and strength. In this case I can confirm what that guy and some others said to be true here. I don't know about any other person who thinks otherwise. For me I don't bother much about it cos it doesn't disturb me My Poco F6 had network same location when S22 was struggling. Does that make the S22 inferior. When it comes to network often and not it goes above just device. The SIM also contributes but I am not ready to give you that education. I have observed it is penchant of you to jump on every discourse. You said a Poco had worse network speeds than Tecno. I still laugh but I won't be surprised if you are comparing the smallest in the Poco lineup because I clearly know you have never mentioned owning a Poco F series on this forum amongst the several Xiaomi devices you claim to have to stake a claim in every argument. When next it comes to a flagship you will claim that you have a Xiaomi 15 Pro and it is below par. But like I told your other crowny do you. |

Deeni131: Talking about signal of redmi phones compared to the techno and infinix phones. I'm beginning to realise that infinix and techno gets higher signals then redmi phones. Where my redmi phone struggling to give me network, infinix browse flawlessly. This is a very big fat lie. But do you, the likes you crave are coming. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 4:57am On Oct 03, 2024 |
leTrizzle: Some Infinix phones show voLTE, the same person that had that Infinix phone got a Redmi 13 and the same voLTE is present. Like I said it is a network thing. Even my brother's S22 it is off and ON. But for lots of Xiaomi devices MTN seem not to push VoLTE to them. I used RN10 Pro never saw VoLTE, now Poco F6 no VoLTE either. Am I bothered, Hell No |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 4:49am On Oct 02, 2024 |
leTrizzle: How about a note 13 that doesn't display voLTE? That is network. MTN is gives to phone makers selectively. Take that same phone out of this country and you see VoLTE |

23jerryking: I get you sha. But if you play Efootball mobile against your friends, and for the joy of the bragging rights involved you'll understand my frustrations. Your location have a role to play. Not 4G+. You can have 4G+ and still have bad pings. This is Nigeria. Even the so called 5G is overrated here. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 6:48pm On Oct 01, 2024 |
23jerryking: You'll not understand sha. Sign to get a new device in this Tinubu regime? If you are so worried about a + then it is clearly a sign to make changes. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 2:01pm On Oct 01, 2024 |
23jerryking: Yes. It shows 4G. My major issue is that am not getting 4G+ which is very important for my online gaming. You are excessively worried about nothing. I have a 5G device and even the 4G is more stable than it. Even in the 4G my phone switches both aggregation (+) and Non Aggregation and I rarely feel the difference. If you are so worried buy a new device. Redmi 10c have held its own down by the way. It may be a good sign to get a new device |

Hinokami: A balance between the both but I lean more towards performance.
New preferably. For a new device that is around the Poco X6 Pro and Poco F6 territory. A notch higher will the Google Pixel 8a |

Hinokami: Yes you're right. I like your attention to detail and knowledge. I use Mi 11 lite 5G NE which wasn't officially released and it's really served me well without any issues whatsoever.
My budget is around 450-500k
Thanks What is your preference, performance or Camera, New or Used? |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by genius43(m): 7:49pm On Sep 29, 2024 |
Hinokami: Hi everyone. I currently use an Mi 11 lite since 2022 and would ideally love to upgrade to 13 lit or 14 lite. Unfortunately I do not seem to see it being sold new anywhere.
I'd like to ask how are the new xiaomi phones like?
Do they hold up the standards of the older models (9 and 10 series)? Are the mediatek processors actually good and on par with their snapdragon counterparts or generally everything is poor.
Thinking about getting a new phone soon.
Thank you all. Apart from Mi 11 lite 4G the 5G variant wasn't officially released in Nigeria. If what you are using is the 5G variant it means you got it from third party sellers. How ever your current hunt for phones mostly depends on your budget. Until you share your budget then people will know how best to give suggestions. |

pheranme9: My redmi note 9 ram management is really really poor, when I got it then I could use it well and all but seems software update reduced the speed and it's possible it's the company that Is causing it.
I'm using 4/128gb even if I expand it to 6gb via ram expansion it's still the same it really sucks.
Not buying redmi again sha, I have it as my second phone using pixel now it's incredible I have told people that RAM expansion is a scam. |
