Change the battery first.

Power IC depends on the device don't have an idea of the cost though. You can ask Igemburg.

But go with the Battery change ASAP. A swelling battery is always a disaster awaiting to happen

i was on whatsapp.. wanted to update a status
.i rotated the image..and was at the point of posting..the image covered the whole screen..i. changed my mind and pressed back..that was the beginning of the end.. asi press back..the phone frooze..all i could see were tiny lines..like all this samsung screens ikeja boys sell..the phone frooze..i couldn't press back or front... inpatient me..i did what anybody will do..i killed with long power button press.. the phone showed mi logo.. for 2 minutes stuck there..so i did it again.. this time no mi logo..did it again..mi logo showed..it was booting den went off..nd never came on again..i press Nd press nd press button Taya nothing.. after 600 attempts it came on after spamming power for 5 minutes..i typed my password..the phpne eas extremely laggy ..it froze..i plugged chsrger and it eas responsive...but became frozen again..i had to forceit to go off.. tried putting it on..it came on ... glitches at the mi logo..the mi logo was double..den it went off.. since then it doesnt charge..doesnt boot..doesnt do anything..its just a vegetable..

i googled nd saw deadboot.but didnt see anything on the glitches i experienced.. but the similarity is like thst of deadboot..im confused who can help.. carried it to ikeja they said power isnt getting into the phone...another said battery...another said power ic.

It is either the power IC or the Battery.

If the battery was showing signs of wear start from the battery if not then the power IC

In a nut shell, I'd rather get a used flagship like MI 11(not sure if it's a flagship) than a brand new note 13.

Mi 11 is far better than even a Redmi Note 13 Pro.

The lowest I can go if I need to get a brand new phone to replace my current device is Poco F5 if the flagship I have my eyes on is out of reach

Note 9s here, since 2022. Still strong and solid.

I went through my friends note 13 that he bought for 320k and I must say that Redmi is retrogressing.

Redmi Note 9s and Redmi Note 13 aren't in the same category.

Redmi Note 9s was basically a Redmi Note 9 Pro with a smaller main camera and base storage.

The truth we ignore is that there are hardly chipsets available for that category of smart phones as Qualcomm and Mediatek are more focused on Flagship, Flagship Killer and Upper midrange SOCs. The Entry to Lower Midrange are on the short end of the stick.

Also apart from the Pro plus variants that are priced significantly higher ie MSRP in USD The pricing of the existing categories have remained lower and around the same pricing.

Our Naira devaluation and no increase in income is our major problem.

I greet una, last night my mi 11t pro went into main menu muiu recovery by itself and i was seeing options like reboot, erase data, safe mode etc, i was able to return it to normal but i noticed the volume key is malfunctioning by pressing itself and showing up on the screen, if i off and switch it on back it'll still go back to that main menu options,
Please what do i do to stop the malfunctioning volume keys ?

Not better but it's not as worse as Xiaomi. Xiaomi (especially Redmi) phones have a life span of 2-3 years (4 if you're lucky)... You'll first start having issues with performance, then battery, your phone will unnecessarily get hot...

And someone is still using my RN5 Pro that I bought in 2018.

Handling is key. With poor handling an S24 Ultra will still look useless after 2 years.

Bro, are you saying that a factory reset can restore the phone and remove this Hyper OS?

Some apps especially all apps that have something to do with Microsoft (Edge, teams, outlook, Adobe etc) no longer open on my phone after I upgraded to Hyper OS.

It will not remove HyperOS but it will help in optimisations as you will install all apps afresh

I have told you to use your phone like that. Having sleepless nights over a non issue is what is surprising.

I have same error it is as result of not been able to debit your sim by Xiaomi SIM activation. Probably our telcos have blocked it.

Like I said it doesn't affect functionality.

Mi 11 lite 5G is pretty good but don't place too much expectations on the battery even if you are getting a new variant.

Another one I would have suggested is he Pixel 6a and still o will say don't place expectations on the battery

I've been using the Mi 11 lite 5g for about two years now. Its a strong and beautiful phone (everytime I bring it out of its case, people marvel at it) and to be honest it's been a good buy.

The downsides are, the battery is a bit average now, as I kind of have to charge it everyday (note I am practically always on my phone) and Xiaomi's software still has it hiccups.

However if you can still get it almost new at the price you state (thats how much I bought it almost 2 years ago), I'd rush it.

BTW the camera is also quite good.

Just use DNS like adguard and get rid of these also turn of show recommendations from settings of inbuilt apps.

AMOLED is the display type that came with your device. Don't buy LCD

This error message has nothing to do with all the other apps you mentioned. This error is mi account trying to send sms.
For the others check that your sync is enabled.
