Is it RN9 that have been on MIUI 12 for over 5 months? If you want to update, do it. MIUI 12 isn't new to that device.

First of all, Super Wallpapers was not made for your device for a reason. It drains battery.

Also, anything that adds more power need to your battery will lead to an increase in power consumption hence faster battery dissipation.

Redmi 9 Power is for the India Market. Redmi 9T is the Global Version, look for it on eBay or Amazon, it is currently not on AliExpress

I installed the MIUI 11 update based on android 10, so far I can't say I have seen any visible difference with the one based on android 9 except for the fact that I can now schedule my night mode. Most new android features are implemented on the MIUI Version even before you get that android upgrade.

Note: I recently updated it to the latest version.

Hold power button for 15secs to force restart. If it doesn't work you when it switches off you hold power button and volume up button to access recovery mode and try to reboot from there.

If that doesn't work, do the same thing and wipe data
