Just like you, I got my RN5 with miui 9 + android 8 and later updated to miui 10, miui 11 plus android 9 and finally to miui 12, no regrets whatsoever and my phone is now more sweet than when i got it, improvements in all aspects especially camera and performance, I wish we will grace miui 13 also or the already out miui 12.5 but life continues

According to official sources MIUI 12 was cancelled for your device for reasons best known to them. So do the Android 10 update and wait let's see if they will change their mind.

I was charging my Note 8T one night (with a cord I bought since my original cord cut), I unplugged to take a picture, I plugged it back and it stopped charging.

I used another type-c charger (Note 8Pro) to be sure it's not my own chargers fault, and it's still the same.

An engineer told me 6k to get it fixed, because he'll have to charge the whole charging port on the panel.

The only way to charge is to switch it off completely.


What could be wrong, Any idea?
