Thanks once again bro. I've just updated it. But pls, i mistakenly clicked on download last update package and since then, my network speed been reading like I'm downloading, whereas, nothing is downloading. I've spent up to 2GB data on this, shit keeps reading. Check my network speed

It is downloading full ROM. Turn off your data and clear download app cache.

Can I do this manual update even though I didn't receive anupdate prompt ?

I am not giving any assurances o.

BrainyPaul:
I downloaded mine but just before i clicked on reboot system now, i couldn't find the downloaded update no more, i just wasted my data

I can get you a link to manually download. Use a download manager
OTA From 11.0.11.0 - 12.0.1

https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.1.0.QJWMIXM/miui-blockota-curtana_global-V11.0.11.0.QJWMIXM-V12.0.1.0.QJWMIXM-baa3f3fd11-10.0.zip

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Macbeyland have you written a review about the phone? If you haven't, can you? And maybe drop some pictures.

There are reviews on YouTube and GSMARENA very honest ones.

Watch Techtablets for his review

thanks sir but am not really into much gaming though because I normally see people around our cafe here playing pes 2019 on their laptops and when I ask they tell me 80k or less but now am shocked

My friend with a 2013 PC with a core i5 3rd gen and 2GB AMD dedicated graphics stuck to 2017 because 2019 lagged on the PC.

Also that 80K system you see can't be bought at 80k now.

A brand new HP Celeron HP PC that sold for 75-80k now sell for 120-125k.

pls I don't really know about laptops but around the budget of 60k can I get a laptop that will play GTA 5 smoothly and has 2gb nividea graphics just asking?

The minimum budget for a good gaming laptop for a used should be from 250k upwards.

And 2GB dedicated can only get you low settings for new titles to be honest. Even 4GB 980MX can't run new titles on Medium settings

Number 2 most watched movie in Cinemas in Nigeria and not globally and most went to see the movie because of other acts not Erica.
