Some features are removed from phones with less than 6GB Storage e.g split screen, floating screen and some easy toggle features are kinda hidden

Currently using redmi 12c also

I also face same issue, battery saver restrictions won't solve the issue plus there is no way you can lock an app to memory on redmi 12c

So annoying device...... I mostly use VPN to browse....now, it's not even possible again cos anytime I minimize the VPN application.... the stuff cut immediately

What variant of Redmi 12c did you buy?

I said few. Which means this is not a single person review. The question was if this is true which model should I watch out for. You could av easily mentioned models you know n can recommend instead of this.

There are no device plagued with this. It is not like a Redmi 9t or Poco m3 situation.

I have used two Xiaomi devices with non having the problem. My family members have used other various models from Xiaomi without encountering any of such.

Hello, I am having issues with my Redmi note 12 pro 5G. 6/64 version.
Few days ago, I got update notification for MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

I downloaded the 3.7GB file but during installation, I got a notification of not enough space. I deleted many things to create more space.

When I tried to install it again, I noticed that I needed to download it afresh. I downloaded it afresh. But during installation, I got a notification of "Can't verify the source of this update".

NB: I noticed that anytime I try to download the update, the previous one I downloaded will appear in my downloaded-rom folder. Even after deleting it, once I reboot my phone, it will appear again.

I tried to to install the one appearing in the downloaded-Rom folder by selecting "Choose update package" and selecting the already downloaded one. Then I get the notification "It is not allowed to upgrade to unofficial ROM package"

Is it possible to install the one that is appearing in my folder or is there any way to resolve the issue.

AThe ROM is probably a stable beta. Once they reach the maximum number of beta users it stops others from installing till it is made public

I heard the 12pro+ has better camera but my problem is the mtk processor, can't get Gcam on that

It is not always about the Megapixel count. And I must not have used all phones to give a good recommendation.

I still maintain that the Poco F5 is a better device overall.
