Redmi 10X 5G/Pro - Not listed there, same thing with the Mi 10 youth and this new Redmi K30 Ultra and Mi 10 Ultra.

I understand that there's a reason for the delay, probably because of stability issues but it just feels like Xiaomi is picking the devices randomly for updates especially the Redmi series. I feel like there should be a pattern to how updates are being sent not random selection. For example now the Redmi Note 9 has received MIUI 12 while the Redmi Note 9s and Note 9 Pro hasn't and i wonder what should be the justification for such because left to me the Redmi Note 9s and Note 9 Pro are supposed to receive MIUI 12 before the Note 9

Like we keep saying, updates is not by seniority. It depends on the team handling the update and how stable it is. For instance Mi 9T Pro/Redmi K20 Pro got MIUI 12 before Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.

If we follow seniority, should all other devices under Xiaomi who have stable update ready wait because Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro haven't gotten MIUI 12.

If your device has a stable build it is pushed out in phases the wider public release like the Mi 9T and just yesterday RN8 Pro.

Left for me I rather have a stable build than a bug filled build. Worse especially for device that the number of updates they will get will start getting reduced.

The last time my device got an update was MIUI 11 in late November 2019 but do I whine here everyday, it is also listed to receive MIUI 12 but I am still patient.

Does saying this make me an agent or paid promoter?

I reiterate it is not by force to use Xiaomi, if they are not leaving up to your high expectations move on.

Ranting on Nairaland won't change anything, even Xiaomi Nigeria don't know if this place exists. Their hunting ground is Facebook, go to their page and rant as you wish.

The day Xiaomi stops serving me I pick another OEM and use.

THE OLD FONT CHANGING HACK IS BACK

In times past there used to be a way to change a font without changing region, it stopped after a theme app update for a while

You won't change region
Cons
You won't have a fonts panel and freedom of checking out new and trending fonts.

To change font
1. Search the exact name of font if you have any in mind, download and apply
2. Search any of the following parameters
a. Aafont
b. Moby fonts
c. Free

Click on more to display more of the font, pick your choice, download and apply.

Issues above is why currently if someone asks me between Xiaomi and Product X, I will simply ask you to buy product X. Even if it costs more or less value for your money.

1. I don't want someone to accuse me for what I am not. I am not related to lei Jun, neither does he pay, neither do I have a single share in that company.
