I bought a Redmi note 7 (global rom) been using it for a year now and no problem, MTN 4g works very well for me.. I've updated my OS didn't have any problem.
It's just simple when buying phone buy from a good seller with plenty good reviews.

RN7 yes but not RN8. From the 8 series they removed band 7 which was the only MTN Band that used to be available on Chinese Variant, on the 8 series only Band 3 is usable there.

Whenever you want to buy a Chinese Version (Global ROM) it is advisable to check the LTE Bands it has and compatibility with the networks you use.

They don't state it that way most times.

It is either they call it Chinese Version (Sealed with Chinese ROM) or Global ROM (unsealed Chinese Version with Global ROM) or Global Version.

Global Versions are usually more expensive.

Take it easy guy. It's not anybody's fault. It clearly States Global ROM. Not Global version.
To make things clearer so you don't spread fear among people that don't know about this. You might start making people think AliExpress is selling fake things. There's a difference between global ROM and global VERSION. Global ROM is the Chinese version with custom rom flashed in it. Global VERSION isn't like that. So please stop going around scaring people and bad mouthing AliExpress sellers.

$143. Read it well . The font looks like "2" but it's "1" and it is also the "Global ROM" . Not the Chinese and global version.

Let me give you a free advice when it comes to AliExpress and Xiaomi phones.

Whenever you see "Global ROM" IT means a Chinese Version(Note you won't be able to use some network 4G, MTN especially) that has been opened(It won't come sealed), bootloader unlocked and a Global ROM is installed.

Now here comes the catch some sellers will flash an official ROM some will flash a Fake ROM that if you try updating it bricks.

My current phone is Global ROM.

I initially wanted to look away but the price was what made me talk and later they will start complaining of not getting 4G on one network or the other.

That amount could have easily gotten him RN9S on or outside AliExpress

This amount is quite large on a Chinese Version with Global ROM not even Global Version, there are newer and better Xiaomi devices you will get at this price point to be honest.

As you can see my knowledge of the housemate is not that robust as I didn't really watch the show, I just read their BIOS and watched a few live shows, I didn't know she didn't finish medical school, it did say she studied in Hungary and she is a doctor though she is not practicing. Please confirm this for me.

On the show last year she said she had to dropout of school after her father's death, now blogs are claiming she graduated but she never mentioned reading Medicine the time I watched.

My friend was on my neck, she said she is coming with me to the post office today and we won’t leave till she gets her wedding item because she is traveling for the wedding tomorrow by 4am. I got there before her, the post office staff told me it hasn’t arrived , and I’d need to check back. But there was a lady there, she told me they received new bags of items today, but it is impossible to dispatch the items now as none has been registered, but she will call me. On my way out to go home, my friend called that she was close by, so we went back again to the post office just few mins after I left. The woman then upon seeing us again, my friend who was almost crying...she then checked for us, lo and behold it was among the new items! I almost gave up, in fact I gave up but God proved Himself! God you are very very very real! My happiness right now can’t be quantified! Thanks everyone

Sometimes taking risks pays and sometimes it backfires. But I am glad it all ended in joy and you have gained experience in how this stuff works. If you didn't pressure them, they might have waited till today or tomorrow before contacting you.

With all this ranting up and down, I realized why they said 'life no balance'. The anticipated update came yesterday, sharp sharp I subbed for 2gb. Low and behold I started my update downloading in peace, got to 50% I was filled with anxiety but to my greatest surprise it got to 99% and it stopped. That was how I wasted my 1.9gb for nothing. I now realized it is better late than sorry �

If it is Redmi 8 or a large update, sometimes it is best to download manually and install.

A big shout out to Omnivision for the big improvements they have made to their Camera Sensors. The Mi 10 Ultra(Main and I think Ultrawide), Mi 10 lite/Mi 10 youth, Redmi 10X 5G/Pro.

I used to have issues with the Selfie sensor they made for the RN5 series but all is good now.

Another people coming up is TCL. Produced the display for Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro and improved on it with the Mi 10 Ultra.
