The only hope I'm having right now is, within 3 days now. 3 Buyers from Nigeria confirmed receipt of their Packages. But there's no way to communicate with them on AliExpress to ask exactly how long it took

I recently ordered the Redmi Note 9 Pro 6GB/128GB Global Version (Going to be my first Xiaomi Phone) from AliExpress. Paid N14K+ for shipment. It's been bout 8days now, and there's no update on the delivery.

Why not track the package via DHL and it is too early to start worrying because of the situation of things

I'll need a phone for the meantime and I have 2 phones in mind (from the cheap ones psalmz is advertising).

Redmi 7a or RN4? put into consideration the the fact that I'm used to big screens and RN4 being an old phone.

Redmi 7a. When you eventually get the RN9 the R7a will do well as a second device.

The screen difference between R7a and RN4 is 0.05"

Custom charges is most times luck.

Ensure the device you are getting is a global Version.

When you get to spend some days with it you will get the hype. Phone is not all about Amoled display.

It won't work. You will just brick your device if at all it somehow allow the Installation to go through.

Screenshot n upload 'about phone' section in setting of your phone? Fastboot ROMs could help you to update your phone provided ur phone bootloader is unlocked. Try to reboot your phone, U will see 'unlocked' towards the lower part of your phone screen if u v unlocked bootloader while d phone is rebooting

Suffy don't have a problem it is the first guy and another and it is Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Flashing on that device is dicey.

But you realise one thing, some prefer warmer colour cast, some prefer saturation, some prefer natural. I tend to bend towards natural to oversaturation.

This way if I will need to edit a photo, the colours will not get too blown out.

Also some OEMs uses saturation to hide lack of details, which also makes a good photo.

This Redmi 7 that is Redmi Note 8 Pro, two separate models meaning different ROM naming

The p40 pro got natural colours though expect if you use the AI mode .

Like I said it doesn't appear always but it does in some scenarios. But not so much to cause concerns.

They are good, the only issues I have with their output sometimes is this yellowish tint probably because of their RYYB arrangement

It is not always by Sensor but Optimization.

Check the image samples of Mi 10 Pro on DXOMARK and Gsmarena and comeback no need to be sentimental.

Even before the DXOMARK report I already said here that imagery is not OnePlus strongest points and BBK won't allow it to be better than Oppo because it will mean bad business for them they have to balance everything so all their subsidiaries we have an upper hand in an aspect.

EG. Honor devices can never have better camera outputs than Huawei even if they use the same sensor.

Redmi Cameras will never surpass Xiaomi even if they use the same sensor. A perfect example is Mi 9 Vs Redmi K20 Pro.

From the problem he stated, I already knew it was a CN Version with Global ROM flashed on. Then from the about page two things gave it away

1. The MIUI Version
2. The baseband version

Okay, it should be a lesson to you. The person hurriedly bought the phone before it had a global version and the seller unlocked and flashed an unofficial/fake ROM on it.

But we warned people from buying Global ROM for RN8 Pro. To come back from brickland is almost impossible. So you will have to live with your decision.

If you are getting an MTK device do well to get Global Versions

Camera Mi 10 Pro beat the OnePlus 8 Pro hands down. For Ultrawide I give OnePlus for details despite having a lesser field of view.

OnePlus have few things good going for it The Refresh Rate which is only felt on the UI very limited apps support, the 10-bit color display and lastly the UI.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has like the best audio speakers on a mobile phone currently.
But yet the display was still behind the Samsung Galaxy Ultra and Samsung supplied the Amoled panel for OnePlus 8 PRO.

I am suspecting you got a phone with a fake ROM. And flashing on MTK devices is not as straightforward as Snapdragon devices.

This is one reason we advise people to go for Global Versions
