Mekanus:
What's a good SOT for a phone with 5000mah battery and amoled display? Let me put this Redmi note 12 to test.

To be honest I don't look at SOT anymore. I will say 7hrs plus of mixed use.

omasbobo:
Lol with all the corners wey dem cut battery still dey drain. Dead UI with almost pathetic 120hz refresh rate, maybe na the Amoled panel dey drain the battery.

You should have bought your A14 like advised you that time.

All these lamentations would have been avoided.

You don't know that the Screen is the major guzzler of battery.

csnc:
Good day boss
Pls how reliable are Poco phones? I read somewhere about dead motherboard ish ...

1) In an F4 and X5 pro which is the overall better phone. Which would you use?
2) Which one will end up with a newer android Os at the end of their support.
3) Do the 2 above have a redmi equivalent?

Thanks in anticipation of your reply.

Only the Poco M3 had that issue widely then few units of X3 Pro(India Versions mostly).

Poco F4 over the X5 Pro. Or better still wait for the F5.

Gptech:
. Been waiting to see this.

We been knew

slenderBeam1:
Please, I do I fix this. The network of my Redmi 8 went off suddenly.

Replace your Network IC

dvkot:
it cost almost the same getting used flagship you won't really enjoy xiaomi if you stick to midrange

And don't forget that there are people who won't buy a used phone.

uwuana:
Does the redmi note 12 has infrared for remote control?

As long as it is a Redmi Note there is an IR Blaster

aronski:
Hun! I taught they said the K60 Pro will be launched globally as the Poco F5 (something like that)

We only have to wait and see

aronski:
I love this phone and it's specs, I will love to know if it will hit Global market pls

Only time will tell. But I suspect it might be released globally as the f5

blaquemyc:
UPDATE
After my redmi9t shut down (deadboot) yesterday, I decided to drain the battery 🔋 by pressing down the power button and using a rubber band to hold it in place. I left it like that for several hours. I could tell the battery was really draining cuz the phone was mildly warm as it would when in use for an extended period.
I woke up at 2:30am, removed the band I used to hold down the power button and tried to power up the device, lo and behold the phone powered up and started running the update.
My redmi9t is now up and running.

Your village people have had mercy

Virusvetty:
he asked WHY. As in why Chinese version since there's global version already

Especially considering the fact that a Mediatek chipset is powering that device

Cyril009:
Xiaomi phones hierarchy is confusing I thought the Redmi note 11,11 pro,11 pro + 5g were the flagship devices
Just found out it was the The numbered 11,11T,12
Followed by the Mi series still confused sef can someone explain this to me

Was there anytime in Xiaomi's history that the Redmi Notes were flagships?

That is why when most of you are comparing Xiaomi with iphones and Samsung's you will be comparing Redmi Notes.

The current flagship phone for Xiaomi barring the release of Xiaomi 13 Ultra is the Xiaomi 13 Pro and the compact Xiaomi 13.

chatom143:
I got this yesterday, Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G, 256GB/12GB Chinese version, and I'm still trying to figure it out. For someone who hasn't used an Android phone since 2020, it feels strange, but let me see if I can enjoy it. If otherwise, I will discard it and face my iPhone in peace.

Why did you get the Chinese Version?

blaquemyc:
Good evenin bosses in the house. I tried to manually update my redmi9t. After downloading the zip file, i chose manual update, chose the package - the package was successfully decrypted and i was prompted to press '' reboot and update''. The phone shut down and is not rebooting again.
Is this the infamous deadboot or is my device gone? Pls help me out guys. Fever don dey worry me already laiso.

Cc
genius43 atheistandproud

Most likely deadboot

kinglee007:
Really? Okay what about the inability to see the proximity settings option in my phone?

There is no such settings.

kinglee007:
yes it does

Also, I have been watching some videos online as to how to fix it but i noticed the option is not in my "incoming call" settings as shown in the videos i've been watching

Your tempered glass may just be hindering the proximity sensor from working

kinglee007:
Guys please I need help. Whenever I make or receive a call with my Redmi Note 9, the screen doesn't go off. It stays on and by that way makes me engage with other functions on the phone with my ear. Please what can I do about it? Does it mean my proximity sensor isn't working or is there a settings I haven't activated yet? Please I need quick response

Do you have a tempered glass on?

nani667:
The black Virtual card is the one I should create right ❓

AliExpress just do the Pink first.

But you can do the Black.

atheistandproud:
👀🍿

*Chewing noises*

I no like am when people dey cap nonsense.

omasbobo:
I swear guy, even Redmi 12c with outdated type b port is sold for 99k! Guy na flagship phones be the best value for money, close eye buy google pixel or s23 line up make mind rest.

Please order with black market rates on AE and tell us how much you will spend in total.

Stop speaking half truths

eteebanky1:
Man, note 12 is not cheaper than it's predecessor

Note 11 is even cheaper than that but vendors inflate the price

Example is redmi 10c......con see how they inflate that average phone

You are being economical with the truth. If you know what people go through to get forex to make orders you won't understand.

leksymaxy:
Please how can i enable the automatic voice call record on my redmi note 10 Pro.

You can't. You have asked this question before

Gmajor:
I'm currently using Redmi 7.
Seriously contemplating upgrading to Redmi 12

Redmi 12 or Redmi Note 12?

teacherbim:
Why is it always difficult to get pouch for redmi?

It is still early. It is a new device. Just hope Jboixxx stocks the cases.

teacherbim:
I got mine yesterday after using the note 7 for good 4years .
I'm in love with redmi

Congratulations

Ibks100:
Hello everyone.

Please I need help, this is what my Redmi 7 displays anytime I switch it on.

There is nothing you can do apart from Erase your data

Teepercuss:
Thanks for this. I actually meant e-commerce sites where I can purchase it. I'm not an Aliexpress person.

You can contact people like Macbeyland and Noobody if they can help you source for the 5G Variant of Note 12

Teepercuss:
I can't find it yet. You can help me with links to where I can find it

What kind of links do you need?

https://m.gsmarena.com/redmi_note_12_series_arrives_in_europe_here_are_the_prices-news-57989.php

Epositive:
Redmi 11 pro

Redmi 11 Pro abi Redmi Note 11 Pro

Teepercuss:
I'm faced between choosing the Indian version of the Redmi Note 12 (5g) which sports and hybrid slot and a 4-in-1 SD processor and the Redmi Note 12 (4g) dual sim and dedicated SD card slot with the SD 685. I checked the benchmark score for both processors but I still want to know what we feel.

I believe there is a Global Version for Redmi Note 12 5G. It was released in Europe last week.

So why not go for that?

Mayor21:
Just redmi note 12 4/128

Like I said go to the thread store lots of sellers have it in stock.
