If you see any item (Xiaomi) termed Global ROM, It is simply a Chinese Version with Global ROM flashed on it.

maybe you have been used to Ultra wide lense. But for some like me that has seen no reason to use the feature. A Telephoto lens is very important for Optical Zoom, you can't achieve that with the main sensor, especially a sensor of that size. A Telephoto sensor can also serve as a portrait lens.

Ultrawide would have made the camera setup complete as it can double for a macro shooter

But from what you posted, you made it seem like you have the phone and it already have a problem. That is not a good way to research about a phone.

There is the Chinese version with the default Chinese ROM and There is the CN version with an Unlocked bootloader and Global ROM flashed in.

If you want a Google certified Version, go for the global Version Mi 9T Pro.

There are fonts in the theme app and you don't need to root to achieve that

Confirmed this recently , I don't know what my mum did with her redmi 7 and it locked and ask to input mi password, instead of calling me she gave it to one repair that flashed and tried everything possible still she still needed to input it before she finally called me and I gave her my password( linked the phone to my account) and that was it......it pained her sha, all her files she lost.

Launcher depends on your taste. Launchers are not made for specific devices so Google launchers look at their functionalities and pick one. We have Nova launcher, Poco launcher, Microsoft, smart Launcher 5 Pro, etc.
