Lol. I'm also making the transition from another brand, hence my desire to get unbiased reviews about the phone.. I understand how people tend to hype new products that end up being a disaster on the long run, but with everything I've watched and read, I'll give it a shot. Thanks for your input. I appreciate.

You are welcome.

Thanks, FAM. I guess I'd go for the Note 7.

Do you use the phone currently?

I currently use the Redmi Note 5 AI, my dad owns a Redmi Note 7 though and he has nothing but good impression about the device as a first timer moving from a Gionee A1

The way this page dey run sef.
I wonder how people here advise others to go and back read, so as to get answers to questions.

I predicted that we will hit the 5000 mark in "3 weeks maybe" that was over a week ago. The way it is going we might even meet or beat that prediction self.

Kindly drop picture samples Boss

Tap to focus first, before taking your photos. Also try to use night mode or whatever they call it.

Lastly play around with the settings of your phone camera

Been a lowkey follower of this thread for some time now. Having watched numerous YouTube reviews on Redmi Note 7, I must admit, this phone is quite impressing.

I'd like to ask, aside the bigger RAM size and ROM, is there any other major difference between the Note 7 and the Note 7 Pro?
How much is Note 7 Pro?

Thanks.

Better Chipset(SD 675 as against SD 660) and Camera(Sony camera sensor as against Samsung sensor on the RN7).

Downside of RN7 pro is no Global Version but it doesn't matter if you have a user of Xiaomi

Wallahi, with this, I don't think I'll need GCAM at all.

Just tweak your stock camera till you get your desired output.

Who knows if slot already has the Note 7?

How much are they selling the 4gb/64gb version

Slot was ditched for Raya stores. So you can get the 4/64Gb and 4/128Gb at Pointek or Raya stores.

Band 3 you talked about is on the both devices, I believe??

Yes it is. It is also the most common band in Nigeria. Airtel and Etisalat also use that band.

What's the cheapest of the mimax series then

Above 6.5 only the Mi Max 3 got that at 6.9", you can check AliExpress for the pricing.

The older and cheaper Mi Max 2 is 6.44" it was released when 6" was still standard for screens

Thanks man, xiaomi ad her naming system tho..
Best guess is RN7 will enjoy greater developer support in xda/pda than pro. Only time will tell

Due to the global nature the RN7 will most likely receive more developer support. The RN7 Pro will also get it's fair share of attention due to its specifications

A quick question.

What's the difference between RN7globalversion and RN7pro, which is better and why?
Also, which one accomodates glo 4G??

Pardon me, if this question has been answered before now..

RN7pro comes with a newer and better processor, a better 48MP sensor (Sony IMX as against Samsung GMI).

The pro comes in only 6/128Gb and there is no Global Version.

As for Glo 4G Band 28 no, but if you are in areas Glo have deployed band 3 yes

Genius43, here's an update.

I updated the phone two nights ago and it seems the Gcam is a bit more stable now.

It hasn't given me much issues again, let me be observing it.

Thank you Sir!

Good to hear

You can update, the phone is no longer new and official global ROM has been around for a while so there is little or no fear of shop ROM for RN7
