Where are the name checkers, i know they will ignore this thread. Just like the popular saying "can anything good comes from Nazareth" and yet the best thing that happened to the world came from Nazareth |
The response might not concern the girl because first, her father might not be a Nigerian, second, her father might be a useless man which she knows very well and don't mind if people calls her father useless. |
Jholland:If you switch off your last seen, you can't see other people's last seen. So highlighting your message to see when it was delivered will be of no use, except you want to conclude without proof that the person has read your message and chose not to reply. There might be reasons why the person has not replied, and one of the reason might be that the person does not have enough data bundle. But knowing the person's last seen will allow you to know that the person saw the message but pretended not to have seen it. |
If you try this with me, i will know you have seen the message but u choose to ignore it. The reasons i will know u ignored the message are as follows 1. When a message is sent but not delivered, a grey thick is used. 2. When delivered but not yet read, two grey ticks are used. 3. After 2 above, to know when the message was delivered, long press on the message and click the circled "i", you will see the time the message was delivered. 4. Go back and check the person's last seen. If the last seen is before the message was delivered, then the person has not come online. But if the last seen is after the message had been delivered, then the person intentionally ignored you and pretended as though she hasn't seen your message. It is rather better to read the message and not reply than pretending not to have seen the message which might result to a break up if you are in a relationship with the person. |

Mediapace:. First and foremost, Barak Obama will not barge into someone's presence unnanounced. And secondly, on closer observation you will see that Ronaldo's concentration is on his phone, hence shoving the guy was an involuntary action which happens to everyone when met suddenly by an unexpected obstacle. |
And she always claim to investigate before posting any implicating news. From this action of insulting someone else because of similar names has discredited all her stories and renders her as someone whose words should be taken with a pinch of salt. |
Rexhenrex:Guy, forgive me for saying this but your naivety is legendary. A girl betrayed her friends trust to date you and you fell for it. What i can say about the girl is dat she is a back stabber and can do anything to get wat she wants. Come to think of it, why should you be afraid of been tested if you have not planted it in your mind to cheat? Don't you know that for someone to test you, that person has considered settling down with you and wants to know if it is worth it. Passing the test will strengthen the trust the person has for you and also cast away every form of doubt about your sincerity. To me, only cheats are afraid of being tested. |
firstking01:If you have a way of confirming the authenticity of a product, would you buy the product before confirming its authenticity? how do u expect me to pay the brideprice of a girl i can't trust, how can i trust a girl without closely observing her actions both in my presence and in my absence? |
Though, i am not an atheist, but let me drop one proof of evolution for you. What would you call the metamorphism of some caterpillars to butterflies? |
ExAngel007:Yeah, u are so right. |
Nice concept, good constructive thought, thumbs up |
Strawman:I just did number 8, but it is not appealing to the eyes, choose to leave the rest. |

10. Myth: Zero gravity exists. Reality: Astronauts in the international space station are able to float, not because there is zero gravity in space, but because of microgravity. The international space station orbits earth at an altitude of 320km, which means earth's gravity is still 90 percent the strength it is on the planet's surface. Because of the strength of earth's gravity, the spacecraft crew and the objects inside are falling towards earth. But because of the earth itself is constantly moving at 8000km per hour, the spacecraft remains in a perpetual state of falling, which is called microgravity. This falling effect can be seen in the Tom Hank's blockbuster Apollo 13. Weightless scenes were filmed in NASA'S specially modified plane, the KC-135, which flew 10 kilometres into the air before going into a steep dive back to earth, all to create the illusion of zero gravity for 25 seconds. The film crew endured 612 of these flights to film four hours of footage. Source: http://www.physics-astronomy.com/2015/12/here-are-10-lies-you-were-told-about.html?m=1#.V4VCGzNw2AQ

9. Myth: Without a spacesuit in space, the human body would explode. Reality: While you won't explode, the low pressure of outer space would have life threatening effects on the body lungs, heart, and brain. The rapid exposure to low pressure will cause ruptures and hemorrhaging to the lungs. The lack of pressure will cause the water in your body to turn into vapour beneath the skin, causing your body to rapidly swell to twice its normal volume. But despite the swelling, our bones, skins, and organs would remain intact within our bodies, preventing the body from exploding. |
8. Myth: Blackholes are funnel shaped vacuums. Reality: The misconception that a blackhole is shaped like a funnel comes from the 2D representation of how a blackhole's gravity bends the space around it. In the reality of a 3D universe, blackholes are spheres, and their gravity has the ability to pull matter from all sides. An object's gravitational pull is only as powerful as its mass allows it to be. So, even if our Sun was replaced by a blackhole of the same mass, the planets in our solar system would simply orbit the blackhole at the same distance, as it would exert the same gravitational force.

7. Myth: The Earth is round. Reality: The actual shape of the earth is an oblate spheroid. Because of the force of the earth's rapid rotation on its axis, the earth actually bulges outward at the equator giving it the shape of a squashed ball. Consequently, the diameter of the earth is 43km across the equator than it measures from pole to pole. Because if this bulge, technically mount everest is not the highest point in the earth and is in fact beaten to the title by mount Chimborazo in Ecuador. Despite it being 2500m smaller than everest, its location on the earth's bulging equator makes the summit the farthest point on the earth's surface from the earth's centre.

6. Myth: Comets have tails because they are moving so quickly in space. Reality: The comet's tail isn't because of its speed or even the direction in which it is moving. In the deepest reaches of space far away from the sun, a comet has little or no tail. As comet travels from the outer regions of the solar system closer to the sun, they begin to melt, this in turn sends dust and particles travelling in opposite direction, which means a comet's tail Will always point away from the sun. Comets actually have two tails, one is made of gas, while the second is made of dust and small solid particles. This is because the sun influences the escape of gas and dust in different ways. As a comet travels, its tail can extend to hundreds of millions of kilometres away from its body.

5. Myth: There is a dark side of the moon. Reality: The term 'dark side' of the moon doesn't refer to "dark" as in the absence of light, but "dark" meaning unknown. The moon is tidally locked with the earth, which means that during its orbit, only one side of the moon ever faces the earth. The side of the moon facing away from the earth is referred to as the dark side, as it remained unobserved until 1959, that's when the Soviet Union Luna 3 space probe first photographed it. Both sides of the moon experiences two weeks of sunlight followed by two weeks of night. In other words, they both receive almost equal amount of light directly from the sun.

4. Myth: You'd freeze if left unprotected in the vacuum of space Reality: Outer space is beyond freezing. The temperature measures at 2.7 Kelvin, the equivalent of minus 270.45 degree Celsius, but you won't freeze there straight away, you'd actually overheat. In a vacuum of space, there would be nothing for your body heat to transfer to, so cooling down enough to freeze would be impossible. Known as the Armstrong limit, in low atmospheric pressure, water boils at the temperature of the human body(which is 37 degree Celsius). This means that exposed bodily liquids such as saliva, tears and moisture of the lungs would bubble and rapidly evaporate. In 1966, NASA volunteer, Jim LeBlanc lost consciousness after being accidentally depressurized for 15 seconds in a training chamber. The last thing he felt before blackout was the moisture boiling off his tongue.

3. Myth: The sun is a big ball of fire. Reality: Fire is a chemical process that depends on heat, fuel and oxygen, a chemical element that doesn't exist in the sun. Instead, for more than 4billion years, the sun has been given off heat and light to our solar system through nuclear fusion. The pressure and high temperature in the sun's core causes the hydrogen atoms to stick together and fuse into a helium atom. This energy is then radiated into the solar system as heat and light. 700million tons of hydrogen are converted into helium every single second. The hottest fire that can burn on earth is 3038 degree Celsius compared to the temperature of the sun's core, which reaches 15million degree Celsius.

2. Myth: Mercury is the closest planet to the sun which makes it the hottest. Reality: A planet distance from the sun has little to do with its average temperature. Mercury is the smallest and closest planet to the sun at just over 57million km away. During the day, its temperature reaches 427 degree Celsius. However, Mercury 's rotation means that nights on the planet last 58 earth days, and the planet's thin atmosphere means the temperature plummets as cold as minus 173 degree Celsius at night. Although, Venus is almost twice the distance from the sun than Mercury, its thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide and nitrogen makes it the hottest planet in the solar system. It maintains a constant temperature of around 462 degree Celsius.

1. Myth: You can't travel through an asteroid belt Reality: Although, our asteroid belt is filled with trillions of asteroids and minor planets, these are spaced incredibly far apart from each other. NASA has actually revealed that the odds of colliding with one another is one in a billion. The asteroid belt is a region in our solar system located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It takes up to 50 trillion, trillion cubic kilometres of space, giving an asteroid an average of a billion cubic kilometres of space around it. Even asteroids in a cluster or family are spaced at a distance of hundreds of thousands of kilometres apart. To date, NASA has sent 11 probes through the asteroid belt without even getting a scratch.
