Romance / Re: Pretty Nigerian Lady Disproves Okafor's Law At NYSC Camp (photo) by gentlegenius(m): 10:53am On Feb 26
siofra:
Every sensible human knows Okafor's law is fake. Only insecure foolish men that can't move on from their exes, FwB, one night stands etc believe that rubbish law.

What a queen! She has made me proud 😍
You are the only one that is proud of an olosho who gives her body easily to 3 different men just to prove or disprove a point. She even brag about it online and you are here supporting her and calling her a queen as if she just achieved something.
If she was your daughter or your kid sister, will you be proud of her for sleeping with men just to disprove a point?
BTW, did she disprove OKafor's Law by her action? Of course no.
The Okafors law that I know states that If a man had a trip with a woman, and she enjoyed the ride, that man can always have trip with that woman again and again irrespective of their circumstances - whether he or she is married or had moved on to other partners.
Though I don't believe in this crap, but trials and experiments shows that it works 80-90%.
In the case of the olosho you celebrated here, she didn't have a pleasurable experience with any of those 3 guys; if she had, there's 80-90% chance that she would open her legs again to that same guy whenever she had the opportunity. That's Okafors Law.
So stop celebrating her waywardness. She didn't disprove anything. She should have understood the meaning of that law before trying to disprove it.

Not all of them please!!! I believe majority of them are great givers that give to the poor.

If your pastor is a great giver, must he collect from you to give to the poor? Why can't he tell you to give your tithe directly to the poor as instructed by God in Deuteronomy 14: 28-29?

You'll enter... But with a different mindset.
You must not believe marriage is for better, for worse... Till death do you part. That bullshit is not found anywhere in the bible. Let your spouse know that the marriage will only last as long as she want... Meaning: She must behave well to keep the marriage going. You mustn't tolerate too much rubbish because of the stupid believe that marriage must last forever.
Even the bible encourage divorce... Read Deuteronomy 24: 1.

Emmexguy123:
I don't even know which of the religion is saying the truth.
Christian Bible says marriage is between one man and one woman.

Islamic Koran says one man and 4 wives and even above.

Other religions will as well be saying another things.

How exactly do I know what to do considering the fact that every religion claims to be the major one?
That's a proof that no religion on earth is perfect in the eyes of God.
Religion was created by man; not God. Therefore, it is only normal that every man sees his own religion as the perfect one.
Anything created by man is imperfect and adulterated.
"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." (James 1:27).
Religion / Re: What The Bible Says About Marriage by gentlegenius(m): 10:27am On Jun 25, 2023
Jokanem:

What about separation and divorce?

There may be times when a husband and wife must be apart from each other, such as when one mate needs to travel to care for a family emergency. But the Bible discourages separation resulting from marital problems. Instead, it urges couples in such a situation to work toward reconciliation.—1 Corinthians 7:10.

Adultery is the only Scriptural grounds for divorce. (Matthew 19:9) Hence, if a husband and wife decide to separate or to divorce for any reason other than adultery, neither partner is Scripturally free to date someone else or to remarry.—Matthew 5:32; 1 Corinthians 7:11.
Adultery is NOT the only condition for divorce. The bible gives 3 conditions for divorce... Adultery is just one of them.
Here they are:
1) Matthew 19:9. This verse explains that a man can divorce his wife if she commits sexual immorality.
2) Deuteronomy 24:1-2. It explains that a man can divorce his wife if he finds out something he does not like about her. He can also file for a divorce if the woman does not “please him”, and she can remarry if she wants.
3) 1 Corinthians 7:15. This verse reveals that couples who are unbelievers can separate if one of the parties insists. When this happens, they are no longer bound to each other.

N120 MAIDUGURI BORNO STATE
It's shocking how water can be cheaper in the north than south.
Water is a scarce commodity in the north, but it is abundant here in the south. The cost of producing sachet water should be higher in the north than south. So why do we buy 250 here in Akwa Ibom when it is 120 in Borno?
We citizens are the major problem of this country.
One thing I have learned is this:
Northerners are more honest (especially in business) than southerners.

General price increase.
Even love has increased in price. I think a bag of unpure water is about N250 - N300 in Lagos (not sure).

Why did we stop drinking tap water in Nigeria?
As a child I drank tap water and it was refreshing. I remember we would keep Ragolis containers when we are opportuned to lay our hands on table water, fill it with water and put it in the fridge. We served it to guests and no one freaked out.

We go to houses with boreholes, pay them for just one 20L rubber and that water would be strictly for drinking. Fast forward to 2023, most houses have personal boreholes and can't drink same water.

What changed?
Typhoid fever is on the rise... And typhoid drugs is among the leading selling drugs in our drug stores.
About 2 years ago when I used to visit the hospital frequently to treat typhoid, doctors and nurses started warning me to stop drinking borehole water. More than 30 years ago, my father had a chemist in my community and he told me that typhoid drugs didn't exist in those days because there was no borehole. Everyone drank stream water and it was safe. I did a research and discover that bacteria, which is the ONLY cause of typhoid fever, doesn't exist in a flowing stream water but it always find its way into borehole storage tanks and multiply quickly in such condition.
For over a year now, I and my family only drink stream water and we never suffer typhoid again.

They sold the story of unclean.

Back in the days, who gave you tap water? Na stream water some Dey drink.
I still drink stream water even though I have borehole in my compound.
My family and I were treating typhoid every 2 weeks when we used to drink from the borehole. But it is over 1 year now since we stop drinking from the borehole and started drinking stream water, yet none of us suffer typhoid again.
What people don't know is that bacteria doesn't exist in a flowing stream water but it always finds it way into our storage tanks no matter how frequent we wash it.
Bacteria is the ONLY cause of typhoid fever and if everyone can stop drinking borehole water, typhoid drugs will cease in drug stores.
Our grandparents never had borehole. They only drank from streams and typhoid fever didn't exist in their time.
When it comes to eating and drinking, it is always wise to follow the style of our ancestors if you want to live long and healthy.

For some of you broke ass guys who are busy condemning Itel phones here, what do you think you are enjoying with your Samsung, HTC, and iphones that itel users are missing? You think those flagship phones you admire doesn't get spoiled, or they last longer than Itel phones? Do you know that Itel, techno, infinix and the rest of the phones you call chinko are outselling every other brands in Africa? The reason for this is not just the cheap price... My friend bought an Itel smartphone since 2016, and he's still using it now. The only he changed in that phone is charging port. Battery and every other features are still working well.
Some of you will be forming so much in this country, even with the hardship you are facing, you will condemn every cheap product you see, spend the money you don't have to buy expensive stuffs, then suffer in silence if it doesn't last for you... Meanwhile, the person that bought the cheap one is still enjoying his money.
We are Africans... Cheap phones were made for us for a reason. Drop your pride and embrace it. Someone in China saw your problem of Power and fuel, then decided to make a long lasting battery phone for you at a good price yet you are condemning it. Those flagship phones you admire always come with 2500mah battery because they were made for countries that have steady light.
You don't have light here, neither can you afford to buy fuel and oil to run generator, yet you are busy forming and condemning something that was sent to salvage your situation.
If you won't use it, STFU! Let others use it.
