So sad you allowed this thing to become such a dreadful burden. You have a right to express how you feel about anything in that house because you are a family member. But you bottle everything up and already thinking that nobody loves you at home. Do not be your own enemy man! Family is everything

Just got myself an S60 Volvo saloon. This is the first time I'll be using a Volvo. I've not even taken delivery as it is still in Abj. But there's a fault with the compressor clutch. Please do I need to change the whole compressor or it's just fine to replace the clutch alone. Again, I will also be grateful if I get contact of reliable Volvo parts sellers in Lagos.

Thanks for your guidance all!

I will love to contact you directly if I know how. Thanks Sir 🙏🏼

I can relate, when my Dad died in my hand in 2022, although I had the premonition 3days ahead.
I still can’t get over him till today.
Nobody can get over the loss of a parent. Not in this life. My own experience is that whenever I achieve anything, I remember my parents who are no longer in this life to celebrate the victory with me. And I tell you for free: I usually feel hollow at such moments. May God bless my parents with eternal rest and peace.

Splendid.
I learnt that SW has quite an investment in the East.
The biggest mall in the SE,Polo Park was built by Tayo Amusan with the cooperation of the govt.
There are Chicken Republic,Tantalizers and other SW and Nigeria top eateries in the SE.
Gtb aka Gtco.
Fcmb bank.
First bank etc.
There was a time I went to the SE and had cause to go to Asaba Which is very close to Onitsha,I stayed there for a couple of days.
Just on the Benin-Onitsha express road,I saw about 3 to 4 Swesterners coys.
I saw on the right side going to the Niger bridge en route to Onitsha,A huge industry called Animal Feeds,I saw Elizade coy,a petrol station owned by a Yoruba man on the left then a block making establishment by a Westerner.
I thought that seeing about 4 coys of Western origin in a distance not too far means there are still others strewn all over the SE and SS.
Through my research,I believe that Yorubas are very good at making wealth and very industrious indeed.

Wow, that's an incredibly generous offer from Kiddwaya! It's clear that he sees Cee-C as a strong competitor in the Big Brother 'All Stars' house and is willing to pay a significant sum for her to leave the competition. This move definitely shows the level of determination and ambition from both Kiddwaya and Cee-C. It will be interesting to see how she responds to this tempting offer and how it affects the dynamics in the house. Nevertheless, it's admirable to witness such bold and strategic gameplay from the contestants.

NYSC / Re: NYSC: My First Encounter In South-East As A Corper by Gentlerespect76: 5:52pm On Jul 18, 2023
Promicah:
I feel overwhelmed by what just happened.

A little background information: I lived and studied in Ogun precisely before my called-up letter came. I saw Abia in my call-up letter and the next thought that crowded my mind was the hatred projected during the just concluded election.

Since I had no connection, I chose my fate and had to skip my reporting date to camp. After losing every hope of redeployment, I decided to follow the next batch.

Our driver stopped in Lokoja and we rested before we continue the next day to Abia.

I had to make a plan that when I have money, I will buy their native wear to disguise myself. Immediately I stopped at the Abia park, I entered the next bus to the orientation camp.

After our three weeks in camp, I reported to my PPA.

Yesterday, I wanted to get a recharge card from a kiosk beside the road and I met an Igbo man. He looked at me and immediately fear gripped me.

He asked me whether I was new in the area, I wanted to lie and say "no". But my mouth betrayed me.

He smiled and bought the item in the attached picture below.

What happened to us? I had to repent. Truly Nigerians are loving people. I couldn't contain my joy.

This is my first time in the southeast and just this singular act from yesterday has changed a lot about how I see Nigerians.

I know there are a lot of agitations but yesterday a Nigerian showed kindness to a Nigerian. It's officially my 1 month and 15 days in Abia.

Sir Nlfpm.od. This is my latest experience.

Bush Boy,
Probably you even voted for Tinubu because the provincial souls around you have told you all you needed to know about the Igbo. May your coming of age continue. One Ronu soul has seen the light. Praise the Lord.

Politics / Re: Tinubu Should Have Been Poisoned By His Wife - Apostle Kassy Chuckwu (Video) by Gentlerespect76: 7:27pm On May 14, 2023
😂 😂 😂 You already knew no Nigerian likes him.

LeoDeKing:
Okay, since Remi Tinubu refused to poison her husband, Kassy Chukwu can now organise his church members to go kill him using any means available.

Alternatively, he should be the Nnamdi Kanu of Tinubu's administration, after all, Nnamdi Kanu made alot of money out of hatred for Buhari.

If this animal is picked to go answer some questions now, he will start playing the victim card as usual.

Tinubu really needs to be very careful with
the kind of human beings he selects as workers in Aso Rock. And this includes cleaners, cooks, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, engineers, drivers, technicians etc. He also needs to be careful with members of his security.

Politics / Re: APC, Oshiomhole Laughing, Mocking Edo Voters, We Must Not Let Them Laugh Last* by Gentlerespect76: 10:36am On Mar 14, 2023
Destiny911:
*APC, Oshiomhole laughing, mocking Edo voters, we must not let them laugh last*

ABSCONDEE House of Assembly member-elect for Oredo West Constituency, *Christopher Ewere Okaeben,* in an engagement with Ogbelaka youths, at the weekend, made a mockery of Edo voters while praising the tactics deployed by his party, the APC to manipulate the result of the February 25 Presidential election and steal the people’s mandate.

In his words, *Okaeben* said, *“There’s nothing anyone can do about Tinubu’s victory. He remains our president no matter what anyone thinks or does. He is smarter than other candidates and is always one step ahead. Once we are done with his celebration, we will now have time for Obaseki. He escaped the first time, he won’t this time. We know Edo people can’t wait for the showdown.”*

What an audacity from someone who the good people of Oredo voted into office to represent them and bring development to their communities but he failed and decided to pitch tent with the godfather against the will of his people. *Okaeben* betrayed their trust and denied them representation for four years for his own selfish interests and those of his godfather, *Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.*

Unfortunately, *Okaeben* and his ilk are now being recycled and repackaged by the APC to contest for the upcoming elections to enter another power tussle with the governor, ignore our voices and deny Edo people more years of non-representation at the Assembly. Edo people, can we afford to make the same mistake twice? Are we going to reward them for neglecting us when we needed them the most?

As we set for Saturday’s House of Assembly elections, we must have in mind that the progress and development of our dear State is what is paramount. We must come out en masse to choose leaders who are not beholden to any godfather; those who will work for the betterment of our state.

We must choose leaders who will work with us, not against us. We must also be strategic to reject the influence of godfathers who seek to control our representatives and use them for their personal gain. We must vote for candidates who have a proven track record of service to the people and are committed to making Edo a better place.

*For Okaeben and his cohorts, we must reject them in totality because they first rejected and abandoned us.* We must not give them the chance to return chaos and confusion to our House of Assemble and our dear State.

Yes, it is their turn to laugh now, but they must not laugh last. Come Saturday, March 18, 2023, we must shame them and remind them that power belongs to the people. Edo people will laugh last and laugh best!!!

*Eweka Emokpae, a concerned citizen writes from Benin City*

Politics / Re: What Makes "Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour" An Igbo Man.no Tweets Made Him So. by Gentlerespect76: 6:07pm On Mar 07, 2023
knowhowk:
I was having a conversation with a Politician in my Area who is a Stunch Supporter of APC / Sanwo Olu .

Along line ,We talked about Gbadebo Rhodes Vivour ..Baba Who Exactly is this Man ...All of a Sudden ,Baba Laughed ..."Omo Okoro ni ..Omo Igbo Paraku ,Omo Ale ni...Chinedu Loruko re ...Olosi omo.to lohun fe je Governor ni ilu Yoruba wa ..Ountan ara re ..

Meaning : He is an Okoro boy ,He is Igbo boy Plainly ,He is a Bastard ,His name is Chinedu ...He is a stupid boy ,that says he wants to be lagos state Governor ,,He is just Deceiving himself ...This Baba is in his 70s but still Agile .

I asked again Baba sooo it is true that Gbadebo is an igbo Man ..He said YES emphatically ,that is why they are going Door to Door to Campaign against him and Telling People that No Yoruba should vote for the Igbo boy shocked

I Left Baba place to Make my own Deep Research ,it is my Hobby to do research ,I discovered This Man Gbadebo Mother Is an Igbo ,Father is among the Real Lagos Aborigines ..Infact Very very very Traditional Lagosians.

I was shocked when i read the History of His Great Grand Father. Grand Father and father .

I went Back to Baba to tell him all these ,I said Baba if i must still Vote for Sanwo Olu as i did vote for Tinubu ,Is it right to Give FalseHood about someone .

Just because his Mother is an Igbo woman does not make him an Igbo ,Yoruba Tradition is that he claims fathers Side ..His Father is a Yoruba Man .A full blown Lagosian.

Baba Later said in Annoyance ..Omo.Jeki Apa ti Omo Yen ti Jare ..meaning ..Boy let us put that Aside

Later i found out that he made some Statements and Tweets which were not good against Yorubas

Well that does not still make him an Igbo Man after all When Baba Tinubu too said he does not belief in One Nigeria ,That does not make him a Non Nigerian .

I was really Surprise ..

Politics in Naija is Something Else oooo

..Baba was Really Mad with me ,I left Baba Shaking my head in great Surprise ...

That's naija for you. But thank God for many Yoruba sons and daughters. I say again, thank God for many Yoruba sons and daughters. Let's leave it like that.
