Well, I might be forced to disagree with that fact of yours, I have read his biography on Wikipedia on multiple occasions, I have never seen where it's being stated about the year he started his primary school. How legit is your fact? Can you please, kindly show us any other sources that stipulated the year that this bright man started is elementary school? Please let's be guided. When people are unhappy in their lives they many times see others success as a threat. Instead of celebrating the other person reaching their goals it brings all their own insecurities and perceived failures front and center.

Why do you think this recent edition did not carry dates of primary education? Let's wise up. There is prevalence of age falsification in civil service; but it's worse in judicial service because most jurists aspire to reach the highest office in the judiciary. Look at the timelines again; there is something not adding up. God punish those stopping Nigeria from fulfilling its destiny as a great nation based on selfish considerations.

Now, this man is not under any immunity, the best we expect is not a defense but a proof. These allegations are too serious and dogged to be left in the hands of Lagos newspapers; we can now take him to court for him to prove his innocence.

Politics / Much Ado About The Muslim-muslim Ticket! by Gentlerespect76: 3:47pm On Jun 26, 2022
MUCH ADO ABOUT THE MUSLIM-MUSLIM TICKET!

To my mind, the drive for Muslim-Christian ticket appears to reduce Christians in Nigeria to second-class citizens, sounds more like a battle cry of the defeated and helpless. Christians who clamour for the office of the Vice President, invariably suggest that they have accepted and are contented with or helpless about the handing over of Nigeria’s Presidency to another Muslim, eight years after President Buhari.

In my considered view, the Muslim-Muslim brouhaha is mere symptoms of the problem, the kernel of which is the handing over to another Muslim President, eight years after the reign of a President who is a Muslim. A Muslim-Muslim presidential transition simply amounts to the furtherance of what Ex-President Obasanjo aptly describes as “Fulanisation and Islamisation” of Nigeria.

The Guardian editorial of 17th June 2022 observed that Nigerians of the Christian faith rightly believe that they have suffered more than any other group from the insurgency, terrorism, kidnapping, raping and outright killings that have become the order of the day “particularly in the last seven years of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.” Fairness is not just for a Christian to be made Vice President immediately after Prof Yemi Osinbajo who has been in that office for the seventh of the eighth possible years.

Christian in Nigeria should not settle for or even bother about a Muslim-Christian ticket in 2023, to me it has little or no difference with Muslim-Muslim ticket because both scenarios promote a presidential transition from President Buhari to another Muslim President. Consistent with the letter and spirit of Sections 14(3) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 to promote national unity and also to command national loyalty, what amounts to fairness in my considered view is for the political parties to respect our collective religious sensibilities by working for the emergence for a Southern Christian to succeed President Buhari.

In this circumstance, to any true lover for the continued cooperate existence of one Nigeria, “the OBIdient” option (burrowing from Gov Obaseki) inevitably becomes a duty, a very viable, reasonable, responsible and justifiable one irrespective of our political party affiliations. A Christian from the South (preferably South-East) should take over from President Buhari.

I have no iota of doubt in my mind that either a Southern Christian becomes Nigeria's President in 2023 or we inch closer, slowly but surely to fulfilling the long-term but well-documented goal of individuals like President Buhari, who by words and deeds have never hidden their wish to make Nigeria an Islamic State.

HOW INEC PAID TINUBU’S ACT.TECH N2.6BN FOR PRODUCTION OF PVCS, BUT DEFAULTED

As the controversy continues to trail the production and supply of the permanent voters’ cards (PVCs) for the elections, it has emerged that a Nigerian company, ACT.Technologies Limited, was awarded a N2.6 billion contract by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to produce the PVCs, which was in turn sub-contracted to a Chinese firm.

Based on the electronic payments exclusively obtained from INEC by THISDAY, the transfers showed that over N2.6 billion was paid to the Nigerian company where Bola Tinubu has substantial interest, for the production and supply of over 68.8 million PVCs within a period of seven months.

It was further gathered that the PVCs were expected to be produced at a unit cost of N65.

THISDAY gathered that the electronic payment mandate for the production of the PVCs was routed through two banks, an Islamic Bank – JAIZ Bank – and the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Limited between 2013 and 2014, which showed that ACT.Technologies charged with the production of the PVCs had been fully paid, but is yet to supply all the PVCs for the elections.

A breakdown of the payment mandate showed that INEC on February 14, 2013 paid the sum of N489,937,500 to ACT.Technologies, being part payment for the production of the PVCs. The money was paid through JAIZ Bank.
Another transfer of N585 million was made on July 16, 2013 to the company via FCMB; on June 11, 2013, N293,962,500 was effected through JAIZ Bank; while on August 13, 2013, INEC paid N130 million.
In addition, N234 million was paid to ACT.Technologies for the supply of 40 million PVCs through JAIZ Bank on January 24, 2014, while the last transfer of N590,871,418 was made on February 19, 2014.
All the electronic payment mandates were signed by the Secretary of INEC, Augusta Ogakwu; Director of Finance, Hajiya Salamatu Ibrahim; and Director of Budget, T.W. Afannga.
According to an INEC source, despite the full payment for the contract, a batch of PVCs were yet to be produced.
Shortly after the elections were postponed, Jega had informed the Senate that some 800,000 to one million PVCs had still not arrived the country from China.

Honestly Joe killed himself.
Politics / Tinubu to Inec: My Varsity Certs Stolen, Didn't Attend Primary, Secondary Schls by Gentlerespect76: 10:29am On Jun 25, 2022
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, has told the electoral commission INEC that he didn’t attend primary and secondary schools.

The former Lagos governor, however, claimed he had two degrees from two American universities, which he further stated had been stolen by unknown soldiers during the military junta of the 1990s.

The disclosures came in an affidavit submitted by Mr Tinubu to the electoral office as part of his eligibility filings for the 2023 presidential elections.

The documents released on Friday showed Mr Tinubu left the columns for his primary and secondary education unmarked. But he said he obtained a degree in business and administration in 1979, apparently referring to his previous claims of attending the Chicago State University.

“I went on self-exile from October 1994 to October 1998. When I returned I discovered that all my property, including all the documents relating to my qualifications and my certificates in respect of paragraph three above, were looted by unknown persons.

“My house was a target of series of searches by various security agents from the time the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was forced to adjourn following the military takeover of government of 17th November 1993.

“I was the chairman of the Senate committee on appropriation, banking and finance. I was also a plaintiff in one of the two suits against the interim national government in 1993.

“I went on exile when it became clear to me that my life was in danger,” Mr Tinubu said in his claim to ine

The electoral law mandates candidates to submit their personal credentials that will be published for public scrutiny ahead of elections.

Mr Tinubu’s latest claims appear to contradict his previous election submissions, especially in 1999 and 2003 when he ran for office as a governorship candidate in Lagos. He claimed both times that he attended primary and secondary schools.

He said he attended St Paul Children’s Home School, Ibadan, between 1958 to 1964; while his secondary education was at Government College, Ibadan, between 1965 to 1968.

From Ibadan, Mr Tinubu said he proceed to Richard Daley College, Chicago, from 1969 to 1971.

He stated finally to have attended both Chicago State University and the University of Chicago.

The Chicago State University confirmed Mr Tinubu as its student, graduating with a degree in business and administration on June 22, 1979.

All the submissions were, however, challenged as fraudulent by a prominent Nigerian lawyer, Gani Fawehinmi.

Mr Fawehinmi, 1938-2009, argued the matter up to the Supreme Court, which dismissed the case on technical grounds rather than on its merits.

Ikenga Ugochinyere, a political activist in Abuja, said he would challenge Mr Tinubu’s filings in court, accusing him of having committed perjury.

Mr Tinubu “commits perjury as he abandons his earlier claim of attending primary school, sworn in an affidavit to run for governor but now claims not to have attended primary school,” Mr Ugochinyere said in a statement. His “new forms contradict his 2007 affidavit that he has primary school and secondary.”

A spokesman for Mr Tinubu did not return a request seeking comments about the alleged discrepancies in his submissions to the electoral commission.
