Politics / Re: Companies In SE And SS To Sack Any Staff Without PVC From 14/6/22 by Gentlerespect76: 12:48pm On Jun 13, 2022
Deprofessional:
Companies in SE and SS have decided that with effect from tomorrow Tuesday 14 June 2022, any staff without PVC should consider himself or herself sacked.

Recall that last month, most companies advised their staff to take part of their annual leave for the purpose of obtaining PVC.

About two companies in South East have already commenced issuance of sack letters to staff giving reasons which are not related to PVC.

However, reprieve came the way of the affected staff when management called them back and gave them up till June 10 to obtain same.

It is also being rumoured that any market man or woman who has no PVC will lose their shops to the local or state government.

Revolution has started.
In the North we would say "Ah toh". Serves any pvcless staff right grin

Answer the question without repeating tradition.

Where will Obi get his votes from outside his region?
helinues are you ready for the truth? Ask yourself first. Obi will get votes of all Christians in Northern Nigeria+ majority of Muslim votes from enlightened voters across the core northern States.

My problem with you is that you like backing the wrong horse and will never accept the truth no matter how glaring.

Politics / Re: Obi Pandora, What Does His Supporters Have To Say About This by Gentlerespect76: 10:58am On Jun 13, 2022
baretalk:
Mr Obi is one of the individuals whose hidden business activities was thrown open by the project. Indeed, he has a number of secret business dealings and relationships that he has for years kept to his chest. These are businesses he clandestinely set up and operated overseas, including in notorious tax and secrecy havens in ways that breached Nigerian laws.

PREMIUM TIMES contacted Mr Obi with written questions and had an in-person interview with him weeks ahead of this publication.

The former governor admitted that he did not declare these companies and the funds and properties they hold in his asset declaration filings with the Code of Conduct Bureau, the Nigerian government agency that deals with the issues of corruption, conflict of interest, and abuse of office by public servants.

He said he was unaware that the law expected him to declare assets or companies he jointly owns with his family members or anyone else.

The Pandora Papers, the biggest cross-border collaboration of journalists in history, is an investigation into a vast amount of previously hidden offshore companies, exposing secret assets, covert deals and hidden fortunes of the super-rich – among them more than 130 billionaires – and the powerful, including more 30 world leaders and hundreds of former and serving public officials across the world.

The confidential documents also feature a global cast of fugitives, convicts, celebrities, football stars and others, including judges, tax officials, spy chiefs and mayors.

The leaked records came from 14 offshore services firms from around the world that set up shell companies and other offshore nooks for clients like Mr Obi, who seek to shroud their financial activities, often suspicious, in secrecy.

Apga is even the government in place in Obi's home state , Anambra

There are still some SE states who pledge their allegiance to Pdp

South South people don't know about Labour party as yet, they should be sticking to what they know

South West is locked for, Apc Tinubu

Northern votes will be shared between Apc and Pdp as Labour party is still one of the end of the year political party.

So where will Obi get his votes from outside SE?

Reason why I want to do this is because I urgently needs money to clear up some things and I want to know if I can access a loan with my pension account. You advises will be much appreciated.

Why not talk to your Pension Fund Administrator? That would be better. At least they have your hard earned p.fund in their custody and they know what the law says.

Atiku's Deputy, yes that is it.

That's the singular reputation Peter Obi has in the north, that's even for those who are aware of him.

Even till date Majority of the people still think Peter Obi is Atiku's running mate for 2023 in the North.

Only 1 in 500 are aware he's a presidential candidate of the labour party.

News about Peter Obi has never aired on Top Radio stations In the North, the last time Peter Obi made the air in the North was during 2019 elections.

Please Igbos part in political circles, fix this or Merge with PDP or the APC.
Noted. We are working on that. That's what campaign is all about. Don't laugh yet.

TooNoisy:
Guys, there has been alot of conversations about who would be Tinubu's running mate and Atiku's running mate. There are lots of names being floated around and there are lots of meetings going on to agree who would run with these political colossus'.

However, I have not heard a thing about Peter Obi's running mate. Not even one name has come up. Would he be running with a Northerner? Are there any northerners in the Labour Party? Who will deliver the North for Peter Obi? Or is he expected to run alone or pick another Igbo as running mate.

Please let me know which names are being touted from the North or may be we will have a South-South ticket but I don't know of any Yoruba, Ijaw, Bini, Urhobo or Efik/Ibibio in Labour Party. May it will be a SE/SE ticket.

If you know, please let us know.

We expect someone from Northwest, probably RMK. Nothing is impossible in politics. It's also projected that his running mate should be a Muslim for a balance.

Fictitious conversation

Osinbajo doesn't believe in what Tinubu has for Nigerians that's why he didn't stepdown for him despite the pressure.

His speech at the APC primaries was instructive and he wasn't playing to the gallery when he said:
Don't vote for who you don't believe in.

After losing at the primaries, he reminded us that though the battle was lost, he believes the war will be won.
That was a coded message.

Only the wise will understand the sense packed in this comment/post.

Romance / Re: Why Do I Have A Strong Feeling My Father Came Back? by Gentlerespect76: 2:12pm On Jun 11, 2022
UncleSuru:
Good day Nairalands. There's this feeling I've been having lately which has prompted me to seek clarifications.

I had a baby boy early this year which was my first. I was overjoyed as the boy is just a replica of me. Just lately, I've been having this strong feeling that this boy is the reincarnated form of my late father. I don't know why I feel this way or where all this is coming from.

I'm not the religious or superstitious type. I don't even believe in these things. I don't even believe in reincarnation so where could this be coming from?

My father was a military man who died about four years ago. I feel my father whenever I'm holding this boy. I'm not conversant with spiritual things so I just can't place it.

Please, why do I feel this way? It's been on for months. What could responsible for these feelings?

It's normal bro. Days after my wedding I lost my beloved mum. Months later as my wife was in the last months of delivery while sleeping I fell into a dream where I heard a knock on my door. Expected I went to the door and opened, "who did I see?" My mum. I don't know how, but I asked her immediately in Igbo "Mama ndaa? I can't translate that but she replied that she has come and I moved to allow her in. Immediately I woke I told my wife what I saw in my dream and added that my first child will be a girl and my mum. Today she is in senior secondary and I call her "Mma" which is a local version of Mama. Some people can relate grin

So it's nothing strange. It's a normal thing. Accepting it would minimize your sense of loss. I know what I am talking about.

And congratulations on your status as a father. Wish you wisdom and grace.

Buhari 8 years should not hand over to tinubu or atiku , both Muslims.

Ordinarily I'm a pdp sympathiser, but this insensitivity of not minding that the nation could have 16 unbroken years of Muslim presidency is unnerving.

We need to have a country where everyone feels among. Christians have people who can rule this country , and rule it well.

I'm calling on all Christians and well meaning Muslims all over the nation, don’t let this injustice happen.

Say no to a Muslim successor to buhari

Say no to a tinubu or an atiku

Very deep and true. Especially with this rise in blasphemy killing, there should be a paradigmatic change please. This is not about religion but about fairness. I have a lot of Muslim friends who are also saying that Christian brothers/sisters deserve the next turn.
