Na waooo

N2,433 per plot sales is a bad deal. These farmers are illiterates. They have been scammed. Mehn. This is not good. When leaders aren't so good with compensation, they will surely fail. I don't expect this project to be successful because the foundation is on deceit, wickedness, and exploitation of the poor.

If this is the true value of the land, this state is definitely poor.
I was present there and the farmers are happy, the land was enumerated based on what u have currently on the land. Those who have cashew trees are the winners and they got much, have it in mind that the land is family land and the money are to be shared among members of the farmers

What sort of foolishness is this .. first was Bayo the last time calling it achievement . Even before obi ..

They’re guilt .. they understand the reality that Tinubu Yoruba government is not getting this right .. with both out and flexing ..

Did we not tell you it won't work? So why is the FG who was the plaintiff not able to start the payment ASAP? Because they put the cat before the horse.

The money they receive from Abuja is mostly not enough to even pay salaries of primary school teachers.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/federal-allocation-cant-cover-lgs-wage-bills-algon/%3famp

Yes you heard it right. It is the states that come to bail them out every month. As in every freaking month. That is the reason why since 1999 every state has been the one taking care of its LG. Before then LG used to owe salaries and pensions and everything..

The solution to this is let there be true restructing and the states in charge of their resources. In this way, they will be able to take care of the LG the more not all these giving LG stipends that cannot even take care of salaries not to talk of capital projects
so have you forgotten how state governors were creating unnecessary lcda, employing unnecessary and unproductive workers in the local government?
PoliticsRe: 2025 Budget Will Focus On Agriculture Development - Governor Oyebanji by Geopex(m): 7:05am On Sep 30, 2024
very funny when people say rubbish here without verifying the news. The project is real bcus the town in particular is not far from my own area. plots of land were given to youths across the local govt, ajoni lcda which is my local govt and the town is part of the lcda, I have a brother given plots of land in the said farm and they will b paying them 50k monthly for transportation and all for helping to manage the farm. at the end they have arrangements of selling the cassava produce and how to settle the farm. weeks ago I saw a video of irrigation system in the farm and I was really impressed. myself is into agriculture this year with tomatoes and cassava production. this is one of the best decisions I made this yr. I am jealous of the achievement of brothers who started this years ago. Wise up and no be everything be lies.

forget this Internet lies bro...in Ekiti State presently you can buy 5 tubers #1500... Every household can afford yam here in Ikole so I don't know why we are making things hard for ourselves then we blame Tinubu for everything. Just imagine it that I bought 1 gala #100 and the next junction the other person was selling it #150 and we still blame Tinubu for everything. I'm not saying there is no hardship but we are making things hard for ourselves too just to make too much profit
I stay in ikole, which market is that pls, odo ooro market, ikunri, ayedun, ayebode, ? just tell me. 50 big tubers of yam is 200k here sold in my presence in same ayedun market. 100 tubers of yam average size is about 500k here sold in my presence. what size is yours that you bought 5 tubers with 1500 naira.

Lies from the pit of hell
Have you been to a local market before? not too big 100 tubers of yam is about 400-500k here . I stay in Ekiti and that's the reality here. 100 big tubers of yam is about 800k here. so transport them to Abuja from ekiti and add the transportation cost, so how much do you gonna sell it later?. I bought 100k yam seed in the month of March for just 300 heaps, rain did not drop, and many did not germinate. from 100k farm, I got just 5 tubers from the farm days ago, even it may be around August before I can get another five tubers again.

Black man folly!
Politicians are always deceiving us.
The governor will record it as an achievement.
But it's all deception, why would a state invest so much brain, money, personnel, land, infra structure, technology and time to establish and edifice, all of a sudden one individual will just wake up one day and hand over such, to federal government?
For what? Is it complexity of governors that means states can't beat fg or, just outright deception.
Our state governors are laughable, they are the problem of Nigeria. That is why state governors in Nigeria are the only humans on earth that conducts local government elections and declare 100 & victory for their party candidates. .. very dark trend. It never happens any where in the world
Hon member from my constituency moved the motion that in our area, we need federal medical center and teaching hospitals and moved the motion to convert ikole specialist hospitals to FMC.it is a welcome development for us. stay dea! everybody already submitting cv for job

We never witness all the bad effects of those bad leaders we had in the past. This is just the beginning. once it fully blown out, there will be revolution, unless the president address some key fundamental issue to this fx issue. Security, power, agriculture, building of refineries, production of raw materials locally and more.

With the free information all can find online, so disturb with most comments I read here. naira will never appreciate in for now. stop blaming the president especially the CBN gov. He is trying his best, he was not the one responsible for insecurity issue, low crude oil sales and oil theft, he was not the thatn changed your taste from local products to foreign products. let us face the reality. after 1 yr or 2 and the president fail to address issue of energy, security, local production of materials and food, with building of refineries. then we can start blaming him

with dollar rate? how many can afford it. they should provide security and help farmer to grow and feed the nation. provide electricity, build refineries, build iron ore companies and build train . also put strict rules on corrupt person like death penalty, sign a bill not to have more than 3 children , can't be having children one can't take care of and they become nuisance in the community

who among naija thats not corrupt.

Without subsidy Nigerians will take to the streets... government must be intelligent enough to ensure subsidized petrol gets to Nigerians, the present way of doing this subsidy system is weak. Government should create fuel subsidy debit cards, share to Nigerians through banks, this card will allow the holder get subsidized fuel...at least the banks can be regulated, unlike the weak system of giving money to marketers.

Government should think and create solutions, we pay you elected officials way too much, to not think and proffer brilliant solutions.

Subsidy is not bad, do not throw away the baby and the bathwater, remove the fraud in subsidy and continue it. This is the only way government gives back to citizens.

Or is the money and revenue of the nation for politicians alone?

Nigerian press too are not objective, this Day seem like they are partisan, allied to PDP, some of their propaganda is anti people.
God bless u, if NIN can get to us. y can't this get to us. do we even have business importing fuels before. why the past president and those senators and rep, state gov failed to build refineries. they should tackle the problem one after the other. Nigeria should get refineries working, iron steel companies working, generate and distribute electricity. those in the north can use wind energy, solar, those with water should go for hydro. once we failed to do this. Nigeria can't be better. we will continue to blame new president, former president will always be better than new president

how can 80 years brain man rule this kind country. a country with population of over 2m . Nigeria is not a state. is a country
even if 40 or 50 yrs old rule, can it work ? can he be senate member , rep members, governors and house of assembly at the same time. can he change constitution on his own. Nigeria failed to generate power and distributed it successfully, Nigeria failed to operate refineries, Nigeria failed to manage iron steel company, and alot more . Nigeria of this type of religion, ethnicity and mind is design to fail. bring who ever u want as president, yesterday will always be better than today for Nigeria case. it has failed yrs back and the rate of disintegration is higher now
PoliticsRe: Petrol Subsidy Nears N1trn Monthly, Bigger Than When Tinubu Came - Businessday by Geopex(m): 12:15pm On Feb 16, 2024
many are just saying rubbish here and blaming people for voting a man they believed in his ability. I can start blaming him if he failed to build or repair refineries. we don't have business importing fule outside this nation when we have the crude, whats stopping all those previous leaders building refineries and stop importing. on the issue of fx and dollar rate, why do we keep importing what we eat, what happened to bushes we have around us to cultivate and feed ourselves. as for security, been a single Nigeria with the whole structure of the country, security issue can't be solve. what happened to energy sector and generating electricity before tinubu became the president, why can't they solve power issue. naija is design to fail, no president can solve it. period
