First and foremost the coup was not a tribal coup. At least not in Kaduna. Nzeogwu Les the coup in the north and ifeajuna led it in the south. The coup was successful in the north but failed in the south because ifeajuna turned it in a tribal coup. Ifeajuna controlled a whole brigrade and could have ordered the movement of trips to any part of the country. He failed because they became sentimental and tipped off the igbos who were marked for death. In any case it was 2 igbo men for stopped the coup ironsi and ojukwu. That means we are not earning enough forex as we were in 2010....and the value of the naira falls.
