However, the situation here is different. The governor is acting as though it's a right that he must grant permission, and Nigerians are rightly pointing out that it is not. By issuing such threats, he is infringing on Peter Obi’s right to freedom of movement, as enshrined in our Constitution.

I once boarded a bus to Oshodi and one entitled guy refused to pay the driver because the driver was communicating in Yoruba. He further said Lagos is a general city where everyone lives hence is not a Yoruba state. I quickly told him he meant "Lagos is a no man's land" and he quickly withdrew into his shell.

I told him if you were at Upper iweka road, will you be expecting them to speak English when they speak Igbo? Na so everyone in bus butt in yab till he couldn't say anything again!
