yemstrad: You just like playing semantics here The message is clear to the poster and pls read again, i said list all the cars you have and their last prices Ok, for the last price aspect, you have a point. It should be asking price But still, the concept of last price does not mean one cannot still go down on the price, some people may want to buy more than one and could possibly ask for discount or any other concessions, this is still part of negotiation Okay, Here we go, Its seems im about to clash with a marketing graduate, lol. I like this One thing I do know is, a last price is otherwise called a final price. Before a seller determines his final price , Im sure he's taken loads of factors into consideration, These factors im sure you'r aware of. The nigerian buyer mentality , which I perhaps will class as being shallow is trying to bargain and stipulate for cheaper than even what a seller's cost price is, and eventually making themselves happy and causing the seller possible loss, inconvenience and emotional hurt. The poster here has perhaps given his prices to allow room for negotiation, hence if he gives your "last price" and people call to negotiate. He will obviously make a loss, which will cause harm to his business, lol |
Autos › Re: Cheapest Cars: by german007(m): 2:27pm On Dec 01, 2009 |
yemstrad: Thanks a lot. I'll suggest you list all the cars you have and their last prices. This will fast track their sales cos people will just choose from the list and only call you for negotiation. Regards. Yemstrad, What you'v just said doesnt make sense to me. "list his last price", "so people can call for negotiation"? ? Last price, in nigeria? ? Last price ? ? . Absolute impossibility. I have never seen anything going for sale in nigeria, without having to negotiate. If you want the seller list his "last price" as you'v termed it. Then it indeed shouldnt be called last price. Why ask him to list his last price so people can call to negotiate. I would rephrase and say list his last price, so people can call to buy . Where does the negotiate and bargaining come into play after a seller has listed the "last price" you'v asked him for?. @poster, happy sales. |

Siena: I lost all the vrespect I had for you as a dealer, after reading your stupid post above. Has Flemmy trashed your sales thread, at any time? Olodo!
As for those saying a 2003 Lincoln Navigator is an old car, what do you all drive? 2009 Kia Rio? This is the problem with lots of Nigerians, afflicted by "Tear Rubber" culture. They'll do anything to get into a brand new car, regardless of the make / model. Even a Lada, Volga or even a skip, if it's 2009, they'll buy. Gbam! I will rather buy even a 2001 navigator or a 1999 porsche boxter or a 2000 bmw m5 or a 1999 audi s4 (b5 type 8D) than buy a 2008 camry. Its the nigerian mentality of tear rubber as you call it. |

Il add to this thread. I think the predominant thing the interviewing officer tries to determine is if you relationship is indeed geniune and not just faked in order for you to get back into the UK. Regardless of your history, whether criminal or just overstaying your visa, marriage is a fresh start. "NO ONE CAN SEPARATE TWO GENUINE HEARTS IN LOVE" And also that one year ban doesnt apply if you apply for a marriage visa. Kind regards noble_gas1: Jst 10years, na esha jor! Its best for you to keep mute rather than pass such irrelevant comments to a thread like this. Kind regards |

tlife: Echo bee, i believe info divulged at this stage could be sensitive. I'ld suggest you give friendl a call on a "hidden no" and kindly telling him what you know. Time would count in doing this as the thief could also be following this thread. Friendl, you could post your phone no on the thread, i don't think it will be too much doing that. Best of luck. Phew abundant sigh of relief, Great to see some amazing suggestions and genuinely concerned people. As advised ,I think you should post your number friendl. Many Thanks |
Autos › Re: Nairalander, Please Help, This Vehicle Was Stolen While Test Driving by german007(m): 12:31pm On Nov 24, 2009 |
ayinba1: @echo bee
It really is simple,
You can easily tip the police anonymously or tip nairaland anonymously. I believe that friendl will not risk his life and safety by going there alone. It is sad really especially knowing that the perpertrator could be any faceless NLder. A shame indeed! And yes, he could be reading it too but Mr Car thief, know though that there is no rest for you,
And then, everyday for the thief, one day for the owner.
Please return this average Nigerian's car. It is a 98 for Pete's sake. someone is trying to make ends meet here. We all know the country is tough but that is no excuse for crime. Well said indeed. |
