@nkc Thank! atleast lets see if you could help this brother out! This a detailed report of what happens when i switch my lappy on. 1. After pushing power button, DOS display asking if i want to re-install the os press F10 for like 5 secs.(normal), Power light and DVD-RW drivr lights are on now. 2. Next the OS loads, i then log-on with my password as its administrator 3. WindowsXp comes up successful but within the space of 3-5 mins (if i'm lucky) it shuts down. Power light goes off, and tries to come on again (reboot), it struggles but comes up occasionally but shuts down even before i log-on, but the DVD-RW Drive poer light remains on through out this period. |

Hello, Can anyone help me out with my laptop problem. i use a 60GB, 1GB RAM, Celeron 1GHz processor, Windows Xp. Recently, when ever i put my system on, it boots successfully but shuts down on it own some few minutes after i log on or while i try to run an application, but it immediately tries to come on again but its like there is something "holding it back" from doing so. Some time earlier it started by just shutting down and restarted but now its worse, it hardly comes on. Some oine suggested id could be a virus, but i aint sure. Any one with advice or suggestion should holla me through this tread/forum or onochie_online@yahoo.co.uk |
@Skybeauty! I quiet agrre with you that EBSU is one of the worst universities in Nigeria! despite that she still has her good sides, In terms of Infrastructure, lets say they are trying to catch up 'cause if you have been there lately, you might be impressed. Check out there new Law Faculty building, Pre-Degree block, Agricultural Science/ FST Block, it's quiet impressive for a 3rd ( or 4th) Generation State university. Her perm' site is also impressive and if you check 2003 NUC's list of accreditated courses/university ranking on it's website you would notice that EBSU topped the ranking for Education with a very high percent. The college of Medicine is still going on fine but i'll admite we still need to improve. Most astonishing, you'll be suprised about the kind of students you'll find with exteme intellectual ability and competition. Despite we are one of the most violent school across the Niger (cultism) we stiill can hold our heads up high, |

Presently. EBSU just finished with the release of the Pre-Degree result and would be starting exams on the 8th Oct, so i guess any release of admisiion list would be after the exams |
okey! i dont think EBSU has ever conducted Post-UME exams before and i dont really know if their going to do so this time.Besides i'm on IT now so i aint in school. |
Could anybody help me out here? I just started working with Visual Basic 2005 and i have a problem in achieving a certain result through codes. In a project with multiple forms(including dialog forms) ,which can be called upon from one main form; I declared a variable in the code view of the main form and initialized it to zero because i would refer to it from the other forms and also perform some cummulative additions to it. The problem i have now is that after declaring the variable at the top of the code module on the main form; Public intScore As Integer = 0 When i want to use this variable to perform some aritmethic operations on other forms within the same project i keep getting a warning statement; "variable is used before it has been assigned a value; a null reference exception could result at runtime " so i guess my problem is either how to link the forms with one another since i 'think' my declaration snippet above is appropriate or something else is missing or wrong. Please i would appreciate it if anyone can help me out. i'm online most attimes so you could holla. onochie_online@yahoo.co.uk Or txt me i could reach back- 07035224890 |
