Gambit23: That u have never seen any IGBO politician in Akwaibom does not in anyway mean the indigenous IGBOs in Akwaibom does not exist, If that is ur proof, then u are not thinking well .
So because I have never seen an Igala political office holder in Anambra now translates to there are no Igala people in Anambra.
U people should start using ur head bro, States in Nigeria are artificially created lines, States does not in any way represent the ethnic n tribal lines in Nigeria.
There are indigenous IGBOs in delta, Rivers, cross river, Akwaibom, Bayelsa, Edo, Benue and Kogi......Whatever u say against this fact means nothing and changes nothing
Oga there no indigenous Igbo in Akwa Ibom, any Igbo in Akwa Ibom are settler
Praxis758: Truthful. The false document called 1999 constitution is a prison that clog the advancement of innovation, research and development. It focuses more on politicking, tribal and spending than technovation.
It's letters are archaic to modern reality. It gives too much food to politics and legal profession. The quota system enshrined in it is a cemetery for raw/harnessing talents.
Imagine us using the quota system in our entertainment industry. How would that sound. Quota system is enemity to patriotism in national service and breeder of corruption.
#SayNoTo1999Constitution
please what is this Quota system all about, explain for me
Idiko1: Most Nigerians tend to show their ignorance on a jiffy. The so-called South-South does not own any land. However the ethnic nationalities own lands. Ndigbo know their ancestral land boundaries and the claim to the land is not negotiable. The states Gowon created did not change the composition of the ethnic stripes or coloration of lands. An Igbo person in Akwa Ibom or Cross River or Benue or Edo or Kogi or Bayelsa State has the same ethnic composition of Igbo person from Imo, Abia, Rivers, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu or Anambra State.
IderadeAratumi: I am a Female Nigerian in my early thirties and have been working @ the UN for several years.
This thread has been created to answer specific questions you may have about working in the UN.
I have been working from home since the beginning of the pandemic and my days are always extremely busy ; juggling official duties with domestic responsibilities as a wife and mother . Notwithstanding, I will try my best to select serious questions and provide comprehensive feedback that will help you kick start your journey in this regard.
As the thread progresses, I shall be posting vacancies from several UN/international organisations in Nigeria, and also provide support with helping you to brand your CV for international organisations like the UN, but not limited to the UN.
Please note that this thread is for serious minded peeps only and comments irrelevant to the purpose of this (life changing) thread will be overlooked.
