Procashtips: You didn't really do justice to my question.
If you type maltreatments of dark Africans into Google right now, you'll find tens of images, videos and articles of such happening post Gaddafi but little to nothing during his time.
Which speach are you talking about?
We are talking real life experiences from people who lived there, you're talking speech that's likely to have been misinterpreted or taken out of context He's a kid who was probably too young in 2011 to even have memory from that year. You know how it goes, they believe they know everything better than everybody. |

You can't continue because your hero has been stripped naked in the market square and shame just won't let you watch. I don't think I need to show you my CV. Speculate on it as you wish. Now, avoid me, thanks. |

It will take some growing up and some education for you to arrive at the conclusion you had been completely wrong about everything. And I'm not that much interested in conversing with a person whom hasn't mentally evolved enough. I'm not interested in teaching you. |

nigeriansamurai: lol calm down ... There is a different version of the Gaddafi story is quite different from the popular one that was pushed by western agents (maybe ill make a thread about it)... i knew someone would bring up this point... You are avoiding the bigger question. with all that was said and done, What was the result of killin the so called evil man Gaddafi? The result was black people being sold into slavery by the "pro-democracy" nato-paid mercenaires. And their other Arab allies. |

erniok: Oh! In your court, witnesses are to be thrown out right? Great judge. What about his speech when he visited Rome in 2010. Hope that also should be thrown outta windows. I'm not a judge, nor a lawyer. I'm smarter than that. I think you are too young and too ignorant to have an intelligent discussion on this topic. |

erniok: You are obviously the ignorant one. Find out what Gaddafi’s former chief of Protocol Nuri Al Mismari has to say about his boss view of black African leaders.
Gaddafi plays to the gallery for folks like you to achieve his aim. I'm telling you about what happened which everybody who cared at the time could see with his two eyes, and you are telling me that it is best to ignore reality and focus on the words of one man, those words are supposedly better than reality. Do you now understand that your reasoning is flawed ? I think you are too young to know what you are talking about. I already had a master's degree during the NATO war on Libya. So kid. You need to get yourself educated, not propagzndized. |

erniok: Seems you don't know so much about Gaddafi. He never really like the blacks hope you know. If you had talked about Thomas sankara, I'd have agreed with you. Gaddafi uplifted black people in Libya so much that those who were trying to kill Gaddafi started many rumors against black people and started killing black people en masse. Obama paid rebels were literally committing pogroms against black people in Libya and posting the videos on YouTube. Learn before you make comments. |

Christian fighting Christians. If the POPE can't stop Christians from killing themselves and disturbing the rest of the world.. guess he has to do the needful -Resign You know Russia has it's own equivalent of "pope", right ? Ukraine was under the same Russian pope. But zelensky persecuted the Russian orthodox church in Ukraine. That is the historical church in Ukraine. I think you don't fully understand that the pope is not the head of Christianity. The pope is the head of the Catholic church. Not the Russian orthodox church, nor the Anglican church, nor Holy Aruosa, nor the Ethiopian church... Christianity has many churches which are not under the pope. |

My discontent or hatred is reserved for governments, political parties and ideologies never the people, i dont believe and have never supported islam (you can check my comments), but i am still in solidarity with the victims in Gaza, because it the right thing to do. Even my support for Russia will change the day my concience and reason decides so. OkpaNsukkaisBae: Nigeria is not landlocked... On an other note, many people didn't pay attention to what morroco just did: it gave Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso access to its ports. Therefor making it impossible for ECOWAS to blackmail them with port access. That gives Niger all the freedom in the world to refuse the pipelines. I guess morroco's angle is that it wants the pipeline to go through its land, not Algeria's. But again, Nigeria doesn't have the military might to play these geopolitical games. Russian military can mess up Nigeria without even leaving its country. And NATO will only be happier to see Russia waste its munitions on Nigeria, rather than on some blond and blue eyed Ukrainians. Stay out of this madness. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Not just WW2, they're a strong country historically. History do repeat itself. Months ago the German chancellor was in Nigeria to sign gas deal.
Nobody should underrate them. Historically, they are a new country which came into existence after a bunch of germanophone countries ganged up on France and beat France up. Both world wars, they lost. Nigerian Gaz pipeline to Europe, that thing has several obstacles including Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso and Russia. The USA has made targeting pipelines a normal thing, Russia won't hesitate for its own security. If nigeria wants to be a threat to Russia's security ? Then you can guess the rest. |

^^why did I waste my time giving these guys a history lesson again, they just can't get it. Ghostagain: I see some people are making mistakes about the finnish-soviet war. Ok, let me inform you that that war was much closer to a civil war than you think. The soviet union was a new country which was formerly part of the Russian empire and Finland was also part of the Russian empire. Finland broke off with the rest of the empire when the emperor got overthrown (Finland was very pro empire). All senior officers of the finish-soviet war started their careers as part of the Russian military. Stalin did a purge against senior russian military officers, therefore the Soviets had very few of those when they went into a war with their Finnish counterparts who had lots of russian senior military officers.

OkpaNsukkaisBae: Mention names bro. I don't know how to guess Bro, I'm talking about the ethnic bigots. People who would see you prove them wrong and then insult you for providing them "unwanted" education. I don't think being dumb is in the DNA of some Nigerians, but rather, there seems to be an anti-education culture in Nigeria. Real African culture, is very pro-education. To many Nigerians, education is just about grammar. All the rest is "nonesense" to them. |

30 years ago, Nigerians were renowned for their respect, while nowadays they are the most abusive and disrespectful people on the planet. I've been on many social media before, nothing beats nairaland in terms of disrespect and insults. And nobody beats Nigerians in the show of shame and shamelessness. It is also fascinating how many Nigerians lack the ability to behave like civilised people. They can't have an argumentation without throwing insults. That shows a lack of intellectual maturity. But again, this is an other symptom of a failed educational system. Not everything is a "fight" and insulting someone doesn't make your argument stronger. These are things which people learn before becoming adults in developed countries.
You people's lack of common decency and respect is so notorious that nairaland was taken down for several days by the hosting-server's owner for this same problem. Don't you guys think it might be time to change your behaviour and learn how to be civilised? |
