The race to living in Italy has just began with application of visa but I can assure you tougher days is ahead when you get here, especially if you don't have a person here. In returning the favour Nairaland did for me when I was applying for my visa, I've come up with a plan alongside my friends here, though its still a work in progress, for those coming to Rome Italy,I think we want to assist.
That's very thoughtful of you bro... I would be coming to Rome.

same with me please. I was not given any attestation of my photograph or my biodata indicated anywhere talkless of stamping it. I also preenrolled in Lagos. can DAT be a problem for those DAT didn't get it?
It appears the experience of those who pre-enrolled in Abuja differs from ours...

Number 8 item is given to you after pre-enrollment at the embassy. You submit two photos; one photo will be retained by the embassy and the second photo attached to a paper (and stamped) with an attestation in Italian language that the bearer of that photo have been authenticated (and note that your bio data... names, date of birth, country, in briefs, will be stated on the paper).

You are to present this "attestation of your photograph" during enrollment in Italy and whenever asked in that country. So do no lost it.
bro when is this photo attestation issued? Is it on the same day you pre-enrolled or a few weeks after? I'm asking cos I pre-enrolled in Lagos and didn't receive such.

You asked for it, this is it:

Before you get married, find out which star constellation that the individual soul came from before being birthed on Earth. If both of your star system matches, then she is your soul mate, both of you will connect instantly and have everything in common. You will actually feel like you have met before.

But if you marry someone outside your star system, since we all as souls did not come from the same planet then it will be a constant battle. It will be even worst, if your star systems are in conflict with each other. As she will become a weapon manipulated to continually demoralize you from achieving your Soul mission or purpose in life. Life is not what people think it is. We did not come here to eat, drink, sleep, go to work and repeat the cycle. There is something more.

The easiest way to know this by those who have no idea of what I mean by star system is to marry someone whose date of birth is close to yours. If you have a misunderstanding it will be as humans. But in the case of the OP, he is married to a goddess from another planet. It is what they call Jezebel spirit in Christianity and Narcissism in Psychology.
Thanks...but I'm new. to all these zodiac stuffs.

do they really work... ? mine is August and hers is October; is it close enough. she also displays a lot of narcissistic tendencies. what's your opinion?

@ lisbonabdulahi

Listen friend, Please pay attention to what I am going to tell you and this is for your own good. If not, I can assure you, we will lose you.

You are married to a Narcissistic woman. She has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It is a mental disorder. A bruised Soul destroyed by Childhood of lovelessness.

If 80% of the traits I am about to list below occurs in your marriage, then what you should be doing is finding a way your kids can live far away from your wife.

1. She gives excessive attention to her beauty.
2. She never apologizes.
3. She says she is not a slave in your house and lures you to help in the kitchen.
4. She leaves home to hang out and comes home at her will.
5. She depends on you for every of her need and if she offers a gift to others, she complains how they may not use it well.
6. She says without her, you are nothing.
7. She monitors your finances and saves part of it and call it hers.
8. If you own a house, she says it is hers too.
9. She calls you my husband when she desires things from you.
10. If you guys quarrel she locks herself in a room and remains there and you are the one to apologize.
11. She complains that you take care of your own family and corners some stuff to her own family except she hates them.
12. She cries real tears even when she is at fault.
13. She blames others for everything and nothing is ever her fault.

I would have typed more, but I havent got much time. But if your wife exhibits 80% of the above characteristics then I have news for you.

She can not be helped.
She is not even aware of the fact that she is hurting others.
She believes she is the victim.

The solution is RUN. It is complicated with kids involved. No househelp will ever satisfy her, she nags the hell out of everyone.

When I read from you I will tell you the nature of her Soul. These entities locate Empaths like you. Charitable people. They hook you and the convert your love energy to negative energies that entities feed on without being aware.

These are different soul archetypes. The fight and flight mechanism of these people got activated in childhood mostly from broken homes and abusive childhoods so they stopped growing emotional. So they are emotional babies even at old age they behave like their spouse owes them entitlements. They are mostly parasitic in nature and she will leave you the moment you run out of her supplies. All they know is what to get from you and not what to give. And they have to give, they try to control the person they give anything to.

You have done great so far, but she will never change. Get a househelp and stop financing her fantasies, use the cash to hire a househelp to take care of the kids. And I beg you cut off the love, cos I am sorry to say, they do not love truly. They only mimic your emotions. They are not capable of loving.

I will write about the spiritual angle to narcissism and why the Churches can not exorcise them, except ofcourse only tapping into Christ Consciousness can the Galactic Federation help you cut off the Soul contract you had with the Jezebel Spirit. They are so nice at one moment, just when you are so sure there is peace at home. Quarrels come out of no where.
This is beautiful...!

bro, could you kindly give pointers to the characteristics or behaviors we need to look out for in individuals so predisposed. cos a whole lot of women are just narcissistic. They'd rather take than give. Rarely looking out to please the man or genuinely make him happy. They're all for themselves alone.

The way those who came through the back door behave is nothing to write home about. But all the same, it depends on your character and mindset. I have met a lot of Italians who respect me for who I am and a couple of rude ones, who I put to where they belong. Most times from my reaction, and sometimes from my words, I make them realize I am doing business with their country ( They sell education and experience to me as a student, while I pay them with my money)

I walk on the streets of Italian with my African identity, sometimes with my necklace of African pendant or my Ankara print shirts. I show love when they show hate smiley Each and everytime I go to the club with my African signature necklace, dem babes would wanna dance with me and some have also tried to go away with my necklace. Though, I always let 'em realize I am taken wink

If you want to come and study in Italy, make sure you or your sponsor have saved enough for your academic and living expenses. You won't regret studying in Italy, as you will have a life time experience while studying. After your studies, you may find job elsewhere or if you have a very competitive qualification+speak more than a language, you may work with Int'l NGOs in Italy.

Keep calm have international study experience around the world.
Many thanks bro... I was beginning to think it was all gloomy over there .

You don't get it within 8 days. You ought to apply for it within 8 days. Thereafter, it takes another 2-3 months to get the permit too. And he mentioned it in of his posts, you'd be allowed to visit other EU countries but only for a period of 90 days. You also cannot work whilst visiting these countries. Neither can you convert your Italian permit to another in these countries.
Hi bro, are you still schooling over there or you've moved?

This experience is it confined to specific regions or all over Italy? this Outlook is really gloomy cos I was hoping to get something doing over there and raise enough cash to relocate to North America preferably. I am really beginning to have second thoughts...

how about online businesses? especially for those that don't accept Nigerian IP's?... at least anything...even football. I am very good at that

maybe I need to write my school and check with them on the opportunities available and if they re-echo these same thoughts then I could be forced to reconsider. I am going to be contributing to their economy, paying tuition and all...and yet, I wouldn't have a means to sustain my self over there? so after running out of cash, what then becomes my fate? shame would never let me call home to ask for funds or help whatsoever.

E no make sense if na like that. Tonight I shall draft two mails ; one to the school and the other to the course coordinator. Their opinions would come in handy.

Those people are the reason the whole Europe is frowning down on black African immigrants. Guy one thing you'll notice in Europe and especially in italy is there seems to be lack of literate Nigerians or should I say a lot village people full here...people that an embassy would never give visa. I actually met a fine girl but to my greatest surprise she couldn't spell Nigeria...imagine. Good luck.

The Schengen C-type Visa entitles the holder to move

North America is not EU ....it depends on the kind of visa you're issued...if its schengen visa you can easily move around the EU hassle free....to Germany, and the Scandinavian countries. In fact the whole of west Europe except UK and Ireland. If you're issued Italian student visa...then you're stuck in Italy bro!
would like someone else to corroborate this statement...

I got in legally...through a 6 months schengen visa. I applied for stay permit and got a permanent stay(carta di soggoirno). Since you said you'll be coming to Rome, university Tor sapienza....lucky you becos in Rome you can actually go to and fro school without buying ticket (biglietto)...just jump in the bus and pray say control no dey inside or them no go enter half way through...just get one ticket for your wallet just in case....I no where that school dey...and you go need to get accommodation close to school(main town Roma)...one room rent for that area go be like €250 - €300 a month...and you know as our naija people be na...your land lady or land lord go most likely milk every last possible euro from your a s s...through light bills, gas bills, water bills, dustbin bill plus extra like house maintenance, staircase cleaning etc...your landlord no wan know whether you be student or not...Italians no give a f u c k say you be student or not... In fact nobody cares. GUY NO WORK HERE ! Just comot work from your mind....when I came in newly, I was attending a language school out if boredom... Men, I no do reach 2 months...this language school is free! Why I stop? Becos I need chop, pay house rent and the language school no dey give anything. So I had to learn from the streets. My advice to you is; if you must study in italy then you must lots of cash! Or I'll just say forget italy...go to Germany they still have free tuition school...I think all you need is €250 (for bus pass for 1yr and student union fees) and TOEFL or IELTS cos some of these free tuition unis in Germany teach in English....at least some simple courses like social sciences etc most of the main courses are taught in German... So just go for the ones taught in English....in germany, once you have their student permit I swear down you'll find work to assist yourself financially but in italy-on your own.....if your parents go just pay school fees thinking say na abroad say you suppose fit get per time job...Guy you go drop out! That's my advice to you.
wow!

how possible is it to move to Germany, North America or any of the Scandinavian countries from there?

Is the university not suppose to give you accommodation for at least the first year?

Guy! Try another country...I'll suggest Germany, anywhere else in western Europe but not italy! Why?
I'm a Nigerian like you...I'm here in italy. Maybe I might not be too versed in the education stuff but I know what's up in the 'day to day life' here...my guy...if your papa no get the money to pay your fees, and accommodation, feeding, bills, transportation and personal maintenance...that is everything....my guy forget. If you dey think say you go find one per time job to pay for accommodation and feeding...you miss road oo.
OK...let's assume your popsy help you out with tuition fees...and you most cater for your accommodation and feeding...let's go
Forget small apartment... You're looking for a room in a Nigerian person house €150 - €200
Feeding €150 - €200
Bills (light, gas,water,dustbin) €60-€100 every 2months
Transportation - depends. Here in Rome we no dey pay, just jump in and pray say control no dey or no go enter for road. But if you have to pay (cos everywhere no be like Rome) €1.50 for a trip so do the maths.
Thus your monthly expenses should be BTW €400 - €500 a month on the long run.
Che fai senza lavoro? (How you go do without work?)
If you or your pops get that kind money then I no see why una wan come italy for studies. Why not UK?
Secondo me(in my opinion)...I think say you just wan enter obodo oyibo...and you think say italy na easier route...the same mistake I made(though I had no choice)...the Italian system has a why of tying you to Italy as long as you're in Europe... Its a kind of slavery going on here... Where you have to buy your freedom(through taxes and your normal day to day life) once you get in. If I were you, I would look into countries with free tuition like Germany and Sweden (if they still exit) why? Not because the total expenses reduction but because you can actually get a job school or no school as long as you have their visa or permit..so the key word is JOB! As a Nigerian...e no make sense to go school for where no get Jobs. Unless your popsy na person like Chris oyakhilome, obsanjo, the list goes on.
Anyhow good luck but think wisely. The probability of you dropping out due to financial reasons is just too high in a country like Italy.
Just my two cents. Feel free to ask me anything about the struggles here. Ciao arrivederci!
Bro, your depiction of life over there is really scary. is it the same for students too? besides, how did you get into the country? did you come in legally?

I would be coming to Rome also, sapienza specifically... would appreciate your advice.
