I quite agree with you, the government is a reflection of the people and the society at large. One basic problem with us is the love for money and me first attitude. Until we purge ourselves of the love for money and the thought of me first, we will remain a disgrace to the world. Imagine that someone has the old post paid meter working fine, but the electricity people refuse to pick the reading, all they do is give estimated billing. I wish the electricity distribution company could make a platform where we can take photo shoot of the meter reading and send to them for billing that would help since the card meters are not coming.

My problem is not the increase in electricity tariff but the dishing out of estimated bills and non reading of meters, the door lock billing policy should be stopped immediately. This is the biggest fraud. How can Ikeja Electric say a small house of 3 bedroom flat consumed 408 kw for 30 days when there was something no constant light? Is there any whatsapp platform when screen shots of meter readings be sent to Ikeja electricity fo billing instead of this wicked bill estimation?
