Lovit: That's not an excuse, there are those who have been doing this job for up to ten years now, let those who want it take and those who don't want leave it for others
Lagos state can take it up, the benefits may not have to be like others, even if it is, what's wrong with a sweeper of 20-35years getting a gratuity or pension?
The govt uses these contracts to settle political jobbers while people's life are messed up in the process, at least the govt should monitor what the contractors are doing and ensure the workers are not cheated Go and pitch this idea with your state Governor drolling mouth |

Tinubu knows that Peter Obi was the rightful winner of the election but was thinking....
"How can this boy of yesterday become the president when he has spent almost all his life in politics.
What a shame that after declaring my intention to be the president and failed for someone who may have not reached his standards in political affairs.
The shame would have been too much, so Tinubu offers so much for this position and was ready to offer his son or daughter if that was what it will take for him to be the president.
The desperation was beyond measured Your sickness is a generational one. No wonder y'all mediocre in your lineage. |

Nigerians are eagerly looking forward to seeing the end of the most wicked and draconian regime in the history of this country. Say you and your family members are living in delusion. Hence, looking for who to blame for your Woes. PDP crashed the progress of this country but God is using Tinubu to put things right. If PDP had started off with this local Government Autonomy of a thing, by now common man in Nigeria will know his/her deserve benefit in Nigeria. Atiku is fighting a lost battle. Nigerians have started renewed hope and saw it is the right direction to follow. Inflation rate is decreasing, workers have improved living wage, the health sector is benefitting, students are enjoying the dividend, credit facilities that will make Nigerians to afford their needs and plan their spending in process already. I bet you and by God's grace by 2027 NIGERIANS will be the ones to campaign for TINUBU irrespective of RELIGION AND ETHNICITY. |

flokii: He should come out clean.. he wants a docile Southerner that he and his Northern friends can toss around to replace President Tinubu.. such will not happen. Southerners are wiser than El-rufai and his croonies.
Since a Southerner was appointed FCT Minister, these muslim fanatics have been going gaga. We heard about their plans to operationalize sharia in the FCT before the current President came into power and dismantled their evil agenda. Nigeria is a secular nation and will remain so as far as the country remains.
Useless extremists.. nothing to show for all the monies allocated to the FCT for years now. A sensible SSner became FCT Minister and within two years changes came, many forgotten places are getting developmental projects and the nation's capital is now looking presentable. The northerners are silly lots. Did they think they'll be able to toss Tinubu like they did to Jonathan? Jonathan did everything to please them but use and dump him. Tinubu is the godfather of Nigerian politics. |

mcquin: In another post, some persons questioned the admission by an Obidient that Tinubu is doing well and I wondered why we operate on extremes. If Obi does well, commend him. If Tinubu does well, commend him and if he fails, criticize him. I have always been critical of APC as Buhari left us a sour taste. I even believe APC rigged the last elections, but you cannot but commend Tinubu’s reforms. I swear you can’t.
From A.G’s pronouncement on Local Government to tax reforms, power reforms, Ports coming alive (Onne Port) etc. You see a clear departure from Buhari’s style. He is more involved, show better understanding of economic dynamics atleast from his last media chat. He also has shown he is more of a liberal, he no carry religion for head like Buhari.
While I have reservations on his approach to removing subsidy, I’ll be lying if I say the inflation hasn’t slowed down with the economy showing signs of recovering.
Buhari been mess this country and I hated APC for it. APC faithfuls should be humble enough to admit we wasted 8 years. They also should be able to apologize for campaigning against Jonathan’s plan to remove subsidy. You can't actually sat 8yrs is a waste. The refineries (portharcout and warri) reviving now is the handwork of buhari. Don't forget buhari government faced RECESSION AND COVID-19, yet we're not that affected in cash flow by these pandemics. Also, some critical infrastructures he embark on and about 80% were completed. He is not perfect but he still performed better than other PDP past presidents. |

Unfortunately, this current federal government keeps collecting taxes here and there, taxing everything taxable and daily putting burdens on Nigerians without using the taxes to improve the welfare of the masses. The money shared by FAAC monthly to all state is what? When they say you should hold your state government accountable, you think sat na joke. They're putting tax burden indirectly on you? Are these platforms not paying tax to governments in other countries of the world? Some of you are just ignorant reasons you spill some unreasonable words at times. |

Tokskob2008: This policies were there hurting people all this while and the government acted like it wasn't a big deal. I just don't understand how you see your people crying of hunger daily yet you say they should endure it for the greater good when you could actually do something about it. Food importation is not the best a ANY country all over the world. Worst off, is the the country that has the capacity to grow things in commercial capacity. This is just a temporary intervention to curb Food price increase and general inflation. If this is left for long, it's impact wouldn't be good on the economy, as our local companies into food/beverages business will suffer. |
