Olaitan Olanipekun popularly known as Dagrin died four years ago from injuries sustained in a ghastly car crash in Mushin, Lagos state.

Fresh investigation reveal that the Nigerian police in the area might have been responsible for his death.
In an interview with SaharaReporters, residents in Mushin have said that Nigerian police in Alakara station are to be blamed for the fatal auto-crash that claimed the live of the rap star.
Policemen at the Alakara Police Command in the Mushin area of Lagos State are notorious for illegal raiding, bribery, and even escapades of what some call ‘murder at night.’ residents revealed.
“I was there that night, and we did not even know at first that it was anyone (famous) like that. We were only helping to remove his body and to rescue him,” a young witness told the website.
“What actually happened that night was that the policemen had stopped the cement truck at the middle of road, and of course, they could only be asking for a bribe.
“Unfortunately, the truck had no rear light, (of any kind,) and so the oncoming car was unaware of any vehicle ahead. It just rammed head on, into it from the back.
“It rammed into the truck hard without holding the brakes at all, and that is because the truck in its front, had no light to show anything was there.
“So after we removed the body, we realized it was Da Grin, and he was groaning. They asked the truck driver to move forward and park out off of the road. They then moved Da Grin’s car afterwards so it would then look like he went to hit the truck where it parked.
“We were not thinking about all these as an attempt to change the story. We were only concerned about helping the victim of an accident, and by when they finished their artificial story, the world was only waiting for Da Grin’s recovery. But news broke later that he had died at the hospital.
“What made their story work was that the car did not hold its breaks, so there was no sign of screeching on the ground. Otherwise, the marks of friction from the tyres would be in the spot where it was removed, before parking it, and rearranging the scene.
“They did everything very fast, and by morning, they were no longer the cause of the accident.) Just like on Tuesday night, that they scared everyone away, and washed the blood stains of their victim within a brief period,” the young man continued.
“Of course, they caused the accident that killed Da Grin. And that is how they commit so much atrocities here in Mushin that the public will not know about, or what the truth is.
“We live here and we see them live, every time.”

Barely 48hours, the hit track song by the Mavin Crew ‘Dorobucci’ video was released, fans of the group have been left asking questions about the video which to some, the audio version was better than the visuals.

The official video for Mavin Records hit single ‘Dorobucci’ features Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage, Dr SID, D'Prince, Reekado Banks, Korede Bello, Di'Ja, and was directed by Nick Molotov and shot on location in South Africa.

To many fans, the video should have been better than that, while downloaded it to see latest baby signing of the crew, Korede Bello.

When I visited the YouTube page, i observed that the video had about 108,676 views, 1146 likes and 74 unlikes.

The Video also features a cameo appearance by the Winner of the Channel O Mavin super fan competition.

Andre Johnson, the Wu-Tang affiliated rapper who cut his p*n*s after falling off a second level building few months back says, he was conscious of his actions despite being under the influence of drugs.

Timaya has revealed that his recent collaborative effort “Bum bum remix with Sean Paul cost him over N20m.

While speaking on “The Juice” with host Toolz, the Nigerian Pop artiste explained that putting the song together and shooting the visuals took about six months to achieve and was quite expensive too.

“I spent over N20 just to put that song and video together. It cost that much to bring Sean Paul and his people from Jamaica, I’m not joking, Timaya explained.

Hiplife artiste Theophilus Tagoe popularly known as Castro appears to have, a year ago, predicted his own death in exactly the same manner it happened.

Rescue operations started Sunday for Castro and his female companion, Janet Bandu who went missing Sunday while jet skiing in the waters of Ada.
Castro and Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan were at the Peace Holiday Resort, a beach resort in Ada, together with some friends, for recreation when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The Marine division of the Ghana Police intensified search operations Monday but as at Friday, hopes of finding Castro and Janet alive seem to have been lost.
With different tales of the possible cause of his death emerging from different quarters, there are indications that he might have predicted how he may die in one of his songs.
In a song released last year titled ‘She Dey Do Me’, the hiplife artiste’s lyrics is a clear picture of events that led to his possible death.
In the song, Castro sings in Ga. The translation of the song reads:
I fell into a river and began to swim
I felt the sweetness of it and I began to struggle
