A Nigerian man has revealed that he never knew about his ingenuity till he went to further his education in Canada.

According to the Twitter user identified as @_Larenzo, he graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) with a third class degree, but when he started studying in Canada, his lecturers were impressed with his problem-solving skills.

He later discovered after taking an IQ test, that he was a genius whose intelligence was greatly underrated owing to Nigeria’s falling standard of education.

According to @_Larenzo, he topped his class upon graduation from the university in Canada.

World’s leading Adult film site, Pornhub has replied a Twitter user who asked when and where they will open their headquarters in Africa.

The tweep, @shankcomics, had taken to Twitter to ask an humorous question from the porn site. He asked when they will open their headquarters in Africa and the exact location they would site their office.

He gave them three options – Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), the University of Lagos (UNILAG), or the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).

The influential rapper's death was announced on Friday (April 9) after reportedly suffering an overdose that resulted in a heart attack on April 2, XXL has confirmed.

X's team shared a statement with XXL this morning: "We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50-years-old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days. Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time. Please respect our privacy as we grieve the loss of our brother, father, uncle and the man the world knew as DMX. We will share information about his memorial service once details are finalized."


Prior to news surfacing online of X's passing, TMZ reported that the rapper underwent brain functionality tests on Wednesday (April 7) to determine if there had been any improvement in his brain activity following his reported overdose nearly a week ago. However, the outlet revealed Thursday ( April 8 ) that there weren't any changes to DMX's brain.

The Kenyan police on Wednesday arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed 3 men, leaving one dead and two critically injured in Nairobi.

According to reports, Margaret Wambui Wangari started sucking blood that oozed from one of the men, who is said to be her boyfriend soon after she had stabbed them. It took startled onlookers who had witnessed the squabble that turned into a major clash to restrain the violent suspect.

The incident happened in Saa Mbaya, Kahawa West, Nao.

“Passers-by found the suspect sucking blood from open stab wounds sustained by the three victims,” police said.

Godwin Okpara is a former Nigerian footballer who was a defender. He was part of the Nigeria team that participated in the 1998 FIFA World Cup, 2000 Africa Cup of Nations, and the 2000 Summer Olympics.

It was gathered that Godwin Okpara had been having sexual assault with his adopted daughter while his wife Linda subjected the same girl to undue torture and molestation.

When the report was launched at the French police station and the minor was interrogated, it was discovered that the level of torture the little girl was subjected to was inhuman and barbaric.


Godwin Okpara was arrested by the French police on charges bothering on abusing, raping, and assaulting his 13 years old adopted daughter on several occasions.

He was arraigned before a court and the judge found him guilty of all the charges and sentenced him to 10 years imprisonment after prolonged litigation.

Linda Okpara was his wife and she was known for supporting her husband in molesting the 13 years old girl.

Linda was also arrested and was arraigned before a court after proper investigation.

The court sentenced Linda to 15 years imprisonment for torturing, molesting, and supporting her husband in having sexual assault with the minor.

A 52-year-old Nigerian man recognized as Olabamidele Olumide Bewaji has been arrested for purportedly raping an 83-year-elderly person experiencing Alzheimer’s infection.



Bewaji who was blamed for assaulting the lady at the Pillars of Mankato home in Mankato, Minnesota since the start of March, was caught by the woman’s child who set up a camera in his mom’s room so he could watch out for her while at home.

A teenager has been charged with the murder of an east London grime rapper stabbed to death in broad daylight.

Abiola Akerele, 28, who performed as Nayta The King, was assaulted in a fight at about 3.20pm in Stondon Walk, East Ham on December 29.

Officers attended with paramedics and London’s air ambulance to find Mr Akerele with a knife injury to his chest.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem found Mr Akerele’s cause of death to be a stab wound to the heart.

Police said his next of kin continue to be supported by specialist officers.

Abbots Road, Newham hours later, was due to appear in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Saturday accused of murder.
