Here is the Photos and details about how 21-year-old Tyrese Devon Haspil, the former personal assistant to Gokada boss, was arrested for the gruesome murder of Gokada CEO, Fahim Saleh, 33.

Investigators in their study believe that Saleh was stabbed to death on Monday, after being incapacitated with a taser.

According to authority, Haspil, attacked and killed Saleh, his former boss on Monday, July 13th in his luxury $2.2m New York apartment.

The gruesome murder shocked neighbors, the tech and venture capital worlds, where Saleh, a founding partner at Adventure Capital, developed a reputation as an energetic and creative businessman who specialized in direct investment in developing nations.
His ride-hailing apps in Nigeria, Gokada, and his parents’ native Bangladesh, Pathao, grew to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Authorities said the 21-year-old Tyrese Devon Haspil, attacked and killed Saleh on Monday, July 13, took his credit card, used it to buy cleaning supplies and returned to the New York apartment on Tuesday, July 14, where he dismembered him but stopped and escaped from the back staircase after Saleh’s sister suddenly came to the flat to check on her brother when he didn’t pick her calls.

Police have since arrested Haspil. Authorities believe Haspil killed Saleh in other to avoid paying back about $90,000 he stole from the young tech entrepreneur.

When Saleh found out his PA had stolen from him, instead of reporting him to the police authorities, he sacked him and set up a repayment plan for Haspil to pay him back.

Haspil decided instead to kill him.

Popular award-winning Nigerian star artiste Mr. Eazi has reportedly launched a new Africa music fund to help support existing and rising musicians in Africa.

According to Mr. Eazi’s interview with CNN, he said the Africa Music Fund (AMF) is worth $20 million.

The lead investor is 88mph, a company that provides capital for African businesses.

Through the AMF, the 29-year-old artist says he wants to create a new funding model for the music business on the continent.


He said; “One of his primary motivations for funding music is to provide financial support for artists to expand their catalog.

“Many investors and financial institutions don’t understand the business of music and as a result, are unable to properly fund musicians,” he says.

“Artists cannot go to banks to get money for their music because financial institutions don’t understand how to secure intellectual property. They get it for physical properties but not for music. So, because not a lot of people understand the music business, there is no finance product for musicians,” he explained.

Selected artists will be given funding depending on their revenue and projected incomes, using metrics such as streaming revenue, Mr. Eazi told CNN.

“For artists who already have footprints in the industry, we will just do our research. We can check how much they are earning or likely to earn from their streaming revenue, for example,” he explained.

Artists will be given funds upfront based on their revenue to expand their music content. The initial advance invested in an artist’s music will be paid back in installments as the artist’s earnings start to rise, he added.

Mr. Eazi, who has more than 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify says the fund also creates access to a larger audience for music acts by helping them find and book shows as well as distribute their music.
