We were invited but have prior comminments. AKA we busy. But I am sure you second hand coast gaurd cutter will wow the show.

Don't be an idiot! I knew long before you mentioned and better still it's on the Nigerian Navy site and also a topic of discussion on BeegEaglesBlog.com. Sadly you'll not be eating more than you cook for the Navy!! Bloody Navy Chef wanting to be a second-gunner or medic in a South African Navy that has no available ship able to travel to Australia!! grin grin grin grin

Your truth is a self-indictment on your level of respect or lack thereof for the human rights and dignity of your fellow citizens. The TRUTH according to ZetDee, MsauZA and Tumisang ... is that majority of South African women are prostitutes!!

CAMEROONPRIDE:

Over 100 nigerian soldiers have been killed and you are still talking about a pseudo domination in bakassi back then Cameroon didn't have +4000 soldiers to waste that's why when abacha brought in + 4000 soldiers we bAcked up and brought the case to the international court. That's what i call intelligence. so Cameroon won the conflict hard to swallow but that's the sad truth.your casualties are far higher. Lmao @ having bakassi was a done deal even during the military invasion all bakassi villages weren't under your rule. Should i mention how underpopulated we are? Back in the 90 we were barely 10million yet we fought. If Cameroon had half of your pop we would take the whole calabar/ cross river which in reality belongs to us. Don't push ur luck too far

Aren't you high on some cheap stuff? Now you go talking about population! If your claim that the Cameroun army is comparable to Egypt how come taking Cross River State is still a dream unrealised with population being your new excuse? Point to battles, state figures, state victories just like we have mentioned here about our militaries!

Or else please go help yourself to more of your stuff!

CAMEROONPRIDE: boko haram has roots in all the neighboring countries. The problem her is Nigeria has the foundations for such insurrection: sharia laws, people divided alongside religious and ethnic lines, uneducated northern population. So we have flushed them in Nigeria that's where they lived and Carried their killings. Not scoring cheap points, because boko harm is not something to b proud of, but it shows that a smaller nation can destabilize you and that your intelligence agencies are def not good. If few extremists Cameroonian can make Nigerian kill themselves that means there is something wrong ,should i mention that your gov offered to put them on payroll?

You are now beginning to sound like a disgruntled person!! grin grin grin I could go back months on this thread to pull out some of the comments you made previously that you are now basically trying to contradict? Rather than dwell on the irrelevancies that you are now raking-up why not talk about Cameroun's military adventures against Nigeria? We have put out Nigeria's position so why not counter them? You must be ashamed that there isn't much in rebuttals that you can offer hence all the crap about the same Boko Haram that the Nigerian army has sent scampering back to their Camerounian roots in barely less than 3 months!

Do yourself a favour by making intelligent comments here.

Msauza:

Let me leave you because I feel like I am just wasting my time trying to teach you. By the way I forgot that we come from two different countries with different people. The concept of multiracial is too big for you to comprehend since Nigeria is merely one race country. You only get to see different race groups on TV, unlike me who get to see it the moment I leave my doorstep. I don't blame you, I understand the reason why you have such an obstinate brain.

Son ... why not take the much I have taught you to help improve your brain capacity? I am more enlightened in my lifetime around the world than yourself to know about the competing issues of race, politics, and demographics in the complex processes of nationhood. Until you breakout of your tiny cocoon you'll be a prisoner in your very own skin no matter how much you pretend to love your compatriots of black or blue, male or transgendered. Your statements over the past few days have been deeply revealing! Learn from my comments or keep up with your self hatred and xenophobic ways of thought!!

CAMEROONPRIDE: created by Cameroonians, leaders are Cameroonian.in fact the first religious massacre in Kano ,i forgot the year and that was before bokoharam i don't if it rings a bell were masterminded by a Cameroonian. So yes Cameroonian are very involved in bokoharam at least more than i thought.

Now I see you are scrambling to make points by finally accepting what Nigerians had stated (and you clearly denied) that Boko Haram had roots in Cameroun! Well, to the credit of the Nigerian Armed Forces, they have been clinically dislodged and sent scampering back to their roots outside the Nigerian borders.

Yet you are disappointing MsauZA by failing to rebut point by point the claims made so far about our militaries.

CAMEROONPRIDE: where did i mention the judgement? You should have stand on your feet and refuse to go to court ,people are obliged to respect the Icj ruling when they go to court, if u don't go to court there is. No possible ruling.

Cameroon and Nigeria have come to the brink of war several times over the ownership of the peninsula in 1981 and 1996. On May 15, 1981, a Cameroon national radio news report states that a Nigerian military patrol army violated Cameroon's territory by infiltrating the Peninsula (as far as the Rio del Ray) and opened fire on the Cameroon army. Cameroon returned fire, killing five Nigerian soldiers. The Bakassi dispute intensified with two or more serious incidents that provoked more shooting, casualties and deaths of soldiers in both countries. In 1994 and from January-May 1996, there were border clashes between Cameroon and Nigeria between military personnel. As of May 6, 1996, diplomats reported that over fifty Nigerian soldiers had been killed and a number taken as prisoners. .There was violence recently in the region on June 21, 2005 when Nigerian troops fired rocket-propelled grenades at Cameroon security posts, killing one cameroonian soldier

We don't hide casualties. You can check yourself. When your rebel groups attack us we report i don't know why we will hide when your soldiers do so, in fact we had anything to win by reporting our casualties.

You fail to realise that Nigeria is a member of a committee of nations guided by global laws and statutes. Nigeria having Bakassi was already a done deal -- militarywise; and left to Nigeria's military high command the annexation and takeover of Bakassi and portions of Cameroun would have long been gazzetted as law. But with Nigeria ... there is military might on one side and the need for compliance with the rule of law on the other.

So talk about the actual military encounters between both sides. We have told our side of the story ... it's up to you to rebut our claims. Otherwise you should just hope for a better day!

History cannot be changed.

CAMEROONPRIDE: well it all depends on with whom u compare yourself to. I don't compare Cameroon with Nigeria u are not an example i look up for better or more powerful nations such as SA ,Egypt, Algeria, Rwanda ,Uganda etc. So yes to me Cameroon is weak but rapidly improving .thanks for bokoharam and bakassi. And Nigeria is weak this comes from your own military officials.
Of course Nigeria can bully Benin Niger togo but does that make u powerful? I don't think so

gringrin At this point I leave you to evaporate with your inability to talk about your country's military history! It is obvious that the facts of our military histories are stacked in Nigeria's favour hence you comfortably take the easy way out of a potentially interesting debate. You conceed your military is weak yet you blindly to attempt to compare it with Egypt, Algeria, etal? Come on Chief ... are you for real? grin grin

CAMEROONPRIDE: I'm talking about babaginda not gej .at the edge of a conflict it makes sense that people that have anything to lose will go and beg for a peace treaty. Your powerful president was the one begging for joint control peace treaty, common patrol. I don't think the USA needs Mexico to control their borders or that Obama will go and beg for a peace treaty if ever Mexico launch a missile on them .in fact after 9/11 the USA troops invaded Afghanistan ,they didn't wait for anything . The truth is Nigeria is as weak as Cameroon u have no edge .that's why all your presidents manage to avoid any conflict.your weakness will b exposed if u dare attack us, we have nothing to lose people don't expect us to win . So no stress on our side unlike yours

The debate ended before it even began! Cameroun is weak ... you conceeded that much. So tell us how you arrived at the claim of Nigeria being as weak as Cameroun whereas we have shown Cameroun militarywise time and again that we are boss? Or are you suggesting we should go against the ICJ ruling that was in Cameroun's favour?

Wake up my friend!!

CAMEROONPRIDE: u r the one being silly. We didn't go to the UN alone .besides u are the one making empty claims and boasting about a military superiority.fair enough, so tell us why you accepted to go to the UN? Maybe after all your military advisors weren't/aren't that confident.

Mr. CameroonPride, please don't start being cheeky! Make your counterpoints as clearly as possible for readers to digest. Cameroun petitioned Nigeria to the UN arbiter since they felt outmanned and overpowered militarywise! Nigeria is a UN member and signatory to most of the constituent UN protocols, so why should we have refused going to the UN?

Please talk about the military encounters (that's why MsauZA brought you in). Except there is nothing you have as facts to offers as counterpoints.

My brother CameroonPride, we are not doing all of this to brag or argue aimlessly. State your facts of military history against Nigeria. We have stated ours, so it's up to you to repudiate line by line any lies or misrepresentations we have made! That is how to make your point. Presidents will always make state visits. Talking about who visited who is beside the expected points.

I hope you'll do the needful.

We do our business without seeking undue recognition which is why these SANDF modelling agency boys will think Nigerian Armed Forces are their mates. If as part of our insertion and control strategy we could deceive the Sierra Leonean Army and overrun their barracks, how come the SANDF are permanently out of CAR and not doing any active combat in DRC? Msauza:

What is it that is really xenophobic about the statements you have quoted above? Nothing. It seems as if we are now abusing this terminology of xenophobia which everybody only came to know about after the recent ordeal of attacks on foreigners in SA. It is no secret that most Nigerians are married to former prostitutes in SA, but not all, yet majority of them. We are thus really confused about their motives, is it about acquiring permanent residence in SA or for true love.

When this comes from the brain of a person who claims to have gone through two South African universities I shake my head in shame and disbelief!! This is deep South African chauvinism and xenophobia in display!! Basically you are implying that your women are cheap by the dozen; that the will sell their happiness to the highest bidder; that there is no such thing as true love amongst your womenfolk; and that selective stigmatisation is an entrenched hierachical way of life where HIV/AIDS, Gay/Lesbian people are more South African than South African women who chose to pitch their happiness and love with foreign men?

Stop your nonsensical arguments about permanent residence permit acquisition!! Your empty brain thinks that the marriage path is the only way to acquiring a Permanent Residency? Now let me educate you as usual ... marriage is one of many other paths that may lead to Permanent Residency but is not guaranteed due to the rigourous bottlenecks around it. It is easier and better guaranteed on several other grounds including:

Paths based on:
(a) Evidence of being the holder of a work permit for five concurrent years ;
(b) Evidence of being the spouse of a citizen or permanent resident for five years with evidence that a good faith spousal relationship exists.
(c) Evidence of of being a child under the age of 21 of a citizen or permanent resident,
(d) Evidence that one is a child of a South Africa citizen.

Residence on other grounds
Permanent residence permit can be issued to a foreigner of good and sound character who—
(a) has received an offer for permanent employment
(b) has demonstrated that he or she possesses extraordinary skills or qualifications
(c) intends to establish or has established a business in South Africa
(d) is a refugee
(e) intends to retire in the Republic
(f) has a prescribed minimum net worth and has paid a prescribed amount to the Home Affairs Director-General;
(g) is the relative of a citizen or permanent resident within the first step of kinship.

If you have any brain left in your thick head you'll see that Permanent Residency on other grounds are easier to attain than those in the first path category. According to you, most Nigerians and foreigners marry your ex-prostitutes ... if that must hold true, I'd like you to tell me if such marriages ever last beyond a year or two without blowouts and fights that jeopardise the chances of it lasting 5 hectic years with evidence that a good faith spousal relationship exists?

While I encourage you to spend more quality time studying and knowing the law ... why not spend good time practising the law without bias or willful stigmatisation of fellow beneficiaries of the human rights provided by the law? Your brain can achieve better if you try!

Now get over your self!! grin grin grin grin grin grin

Democracy and human rights have the deep meaning that is so watertight such that you cannot separate them from each other. Government by the people is what has given birth to human rights and the same cannot be told in autocracy or kingdom. It is only when people start to govern themselves when they will start to pay attention to human rights.

The same way politics and demographics are watertightly intertwined ... yet you ran away from being disgraced due to your stupidity and 33% brain capacity!! By your current argument around true democracy ... how can that be the case in South Africa when you stigmatise your women married to non-South Africans? From golddiggers, pros.titutes, amagosha, etc. gringringrin Obviously by your statements South African women married to foreign men are not entitled to their rights of freedom enshrined in the same South African constitution? So why all the grandstanding about true democracy?

Msauza:
Your Nigerian men are screwing outdated materials which have been spewed out like tasteless chewing gum by SA men.

Msauza:
It doesn't matter how educated they are, but many have been misused by SA men and we no longer find them attractive anymore.

Tumisang:
Oh really?

Majority of your brothers (yoruba/igbo) date and marry gold diggers and p.rostitutes. And that is a FACT! So next time you're wondering why are SA men not saying anything. Just know that we are happy that your brothers are turning those ashawos into housewives. We thank you.

Bwahahahahaha!!! That is very same system practiced in South Africa. That was in 2010 the system is now fully implemented in INDIA. Canada is also using the same system.

I don't usually get into non military debates....but this has to be one of the most st*pid things you've ever said. One of the most st*pid things ever said on this forum. Do a reverse analysis.

Number of non literate Nigerians = 67 000 000
Number of non literate South Africans = 6 800 000

Nigeria therefor has almost 10 times more illiterates than SA. Do you see how useless your so called analysis was? tongue

Again, even with Nigeria's high population there are far more literate Nigerians than South Africa can ever aspire to educate in several decades! Nigeria's 61% rate is easily 300% the number in SA (put at 86%) ... hence, an upwardly mobile workforce, a highly competitive economic outlook and lots of room for local knowledge and skills development in Nigeria. Point is ... your literate population is grossly overstated especially when you have 33% as a pass mark grin grin. And there'll never be an end to Nigeria's so called illiterates taking your jobs and educating you all! grin grin

Msauza: INDIA have adopted 33% pass mark system but have far greater brains than Nigerians. I quote from the source:

The qualifying marks in each subject of external examination shall be 33% . However at Senior School Certificate Examination,in a subject involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in the theory and 33% marks in the practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate, in order to qualify in that subject.

For further reading:

http://www.indiaeducation.net/cbse/grading-system.aspx

Only a numbskull 33% brain like you will conclude that India's rating system is equivalent to SA's 33% pass! Moreover India is in a trial phase just so that the word fail is eradicated from scoresheets. Pay attention to the variables of India's system and note that it is not the same as your blanket system where an abysmal 33% is a pass!! In India 33% is not an absolute qualifying grade for promotion! grin grin

===========================================

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced grading for Class X from 2010. Board examinations will finally come without the pass or fail tag for students.

The nine-point scale grading system will require students to get qualifying grades in four of the five subjects to get promoted to the next level. It has been decided not to carry pass or fail on the mark sheets of students. Students will have four options to improve on their grades within a period of two years from their exam.

The grading system will adopt a five-point scale, which means awarding students grades from A to E. This will eliminate the schools from showing raw scores on the evaluation report of each student.

The new grading system is based on two parameters - absolute and percentile marks. There is a uniform model to be followed in assessing all subjects. But the parameters are different for different subjects depending upon the difficulty level. For example, A star grade would signify 9 points for Maths, while the same would signify 7 points for English.

Under the new grading system there will be subject-wise grades, no cumulative grade will be awarded, as our mark sheets do not carry the total marks at present. The last grade will be the un-qualifying grade and this will decide whether the candidate has passed the exam or failed it.''

Gradually the word 'fail' would be abolished once this system is successfully implemented. This would reduce stress on students. "But we may have to wait for some more years before completely abolishing fail from Boards.

Summative Assessment Based on the term-end examination

There will be two evaluations each in the first and second terms.
Each evaluation will carry 10 marks apiece.

Formative Assessment To evaluate and grade class work, homework, assignment and project work

There will be one term-end exam for each term.
The first term-end exam will carry 20 marks.
The second term-end exam will carry 40 marks.

Evaluation

Students of class IX and X will be evaluated on a 9-point grading system. Each grade, given on the basis of both formative and summative assessments, will correspond to a range of marks.

The nine point grading scale for measuring Scholastic achievements is reproduced below: -

Marks Range

Grade Grade point

91-100 A1 10.0

81-90 A2 9.0

71-80 B1 8.0

61-70 B2 7.0

51-60 C1 6.0

41-50 C2 5.0

33-40 D 4.0

21-32 E1 C

00-20 E2 C

Points to Remember

(i) Assessment of theory/practical papers in external subjects shall be in numerical scores. In addition to numerical scores, the Board shall indicate grades in the marks sheets issued to the candidates in case of subjects of external examinations. In case of internal assessment subjects, only grades shall be shown.

(ii) Subjects of internal examination in Class X the assessment shall be made on a five point scale I.e. A,B,C,D & E.

(iii) The grades shall be derived from scores in case of subjects of external examination. In case of subjects of internal assessment, they shall be awarded by the schools.

(iv) The qualifying marks in each subject of external examination shall be 33% . However at Senior School Certificate Examination,in a subject involving practical work, a candidate must obtain 33% marks in the theory and 33% marks in the practical separately in addition to 33% marks in aggregate, in order to qualify in that subject.

(v) For awarding the grades, the Board shall put all the passed students in a rank order and will award grades as follows :

A1 : Top 1/8th of the passed candidates
A2 : Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
B1 : Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
B2 : Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
C1 : Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
C2 : Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
D1 : Next 1/8th of the passed candidates
D2 : Next 1/8th of the passed candidates

E : Failed candidates

Important Points

(a) In case of a tie, all the students getting the same score, will get the same grade. If the number of students at a score point need to be divided into two segments, the smaller segment will go with the larger.

(b) Method of grading will be used in subjects where the number of candidates who have passed is more than 500.

(c) In respect of subjects where total number of candidates passing in a subject is less than 500, the grading would be adopted on the pattern of grading and distribution in other similar subjects.

Then go to crime stats and do the same analysis. Again, our 33% pass mark will score exactly 100% in Nigerias system. Our exams and level of teaching is not the same, South Africas level of education is on par with that of first world countries since we have many Americans and Europeans schooling in SA.

A very nice conceding response. grin grin Just to remind you again that ... 33% is your pass mark, not ours! Carry on as you were! Case closed!

Looks like no one wants to be Igbo! grin

In a country of over 350 tribes and languages it seems you alone wants to make every Nigerian an Igbo man? Racist tendencies in your South Africa is evident in your attempt at ethnic/tribal stereotyping of non-South Africans. You must be kidding!! shocked shocked

Msauza:

Equivalent to 100% in Nigeria.

From available Literacy rates:

Nigeria: 61% of total population (about 104,210,000 literate people)
SA: 86.4% of total population (about 43,000,000 literate people)

Point is ... Nigeria has two and a half times more literate people than South Africa! And going by SA's definition of a Pass mark (33%), it is apparent that the quality of your literate population is a massive sham!

No doubt you are being your very deluded self. It's your right!! grin grin

KidStranglehold: Again its clearly Egypt and South Africa.

Why is this still being debated?

You wish it was your cowardly South Africa!! Sorry ... It's Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria, Ethiopia, and maybe South Africa ... in that order!

The leathal blast raidacy of a grenade is about 15m. SA solders were a lot farther away and in a forfied postion. Grenades would achieve nothing, blind firing a MG would all so do nothing and aiming would expose the shooter.

You assume they had all those wepaons with them. And you do know shooting a wall with a HEAT or AP round does very littel damge to it. There is is a vedieo on youtube of US solders blasting away at a building with those rounds and it acheived nothing. You don't actualy under stand war.

I find it hard to understand your level of idiocy especially when you claim to serve in the South African Navy!! We saw the walls and gates of the so called SANDF base and I can tell that ordinary grenades could have brought down entire sections of the cement/sand block walls. Look again at the picture with the Seleka fighters standing in front of the zinc sheet gate of SANDF's abandoned base ... then tell me how impregnable the base was! Nonsense!!
