Don’t judge me because, You don’t know me. I remain a book of history, To be studied. Don’t try to read me, Because you can’t. It is by my nature I live Different from the things you see My ability is different, so don’t compare me to others. I am not wicked, like Pharaoh you think, I am not mean like Herod you think. Don’t belittle me with name you think, Because I am better than what you say, You may call me any name you wish, Real men don’t live by names, But what they possess. So don’t judge me , Because you don’t know me. Am not a law breaker, My heart is pure. If you can open my heart to tell, Then you can see yourself. Don’t condemn too soon, But hear from me. The story of fathers we tell, Chained, beating, walking in desert land. Moving down the coast, To the door of no return, Saying goodbye to their beautiful soul. Their heart melts with pain, Tears of blood in their eye, no help from anyone. Walking in desert, No water to drink, Their strength fail them. Them get to monument statue, The door of no return. Watch the ocean waiting for the ship To depart, Saying goodbye to their soil Where then were born, To the land, there know not. The merchant price them like fishes, The merchant select them like weavils Found in bean. The girls satisfy their master Emotional desire. Our father cried like women Due to torture. Some move on like soldier To the strange land, Other chose death Strangling themselves with their Chain. Some chose to joint d fishes in The ocean. ANIEMEKA NATHANIEL |
WHY THIS AGITATION Humans terms to agitate when they feel they have been treated unfairly by the system that works in their environment specially, when the system is a complex with individual of different mindset. Different groups from different part of the country agitating for one thing or the other. You must agree with me that this issue of agitations is happening around the globe. This is an expression of right, is meant for government to listen ,the way is been handled can either worsen the agitation or bring solution. If government should use force or violence to shut them up, you are given them the reason to believe that agitation is the solution mind you some of this agitations are ideology y that is transfer from generations to generation wisdom must be applied because the war of ideology can never be won by guns and arrow. Some are calling for restructuring, what kind of restructuring if you must asked, bring all to the table and discuss, let very group express their grievances, their worries ever y other solution apart from table discussion human lives count. “you can take a horse to the river you can’t force the horse to drink water” you can use force to hold them, for how long? Why not bring all to open table because a house divided against itself can’t not stand. We must learn from other nations that has pass through this bridges, how the overcame. We must also look critical at what happen to Sudan also flashback what happen 1964-1967 in civil war, how many lives and properties were lose. When it comes to national crises, anger does not bring solution but more destructions and pain. When injustices or unfairness is show to a particular region ,you don’t expect them to keep silence, they feel neglected ,rejected and abandoned because there are few in numbers .I believe bringing all to table and talk is best the country need to stand as one. The unity of Nigerian depend on how those in power handle s it. When there is agitation there will always be solution when there is ears to listen at the round table of discussion ANIEMEKA NATHANIEL |
Democracy is the government of the people by the people and for the people, this ideally is what I was thought in school. But in reality is this actually true? This is one question I asked myself. Are we actually practicing democracy or another system of government because I know that in true democracy the voice of the people are heard and respected? Today ,this is not actually true,we see the type of government we run so I compose my definition of democracy to suit what we practice. I define democracy in Nigeria as the government of the rich to mouth sweet the poor and deceive the masses for vote during election. What do we called a system were a free and fair election is verbally spoken but not respected, rigging has become an expectable form of election even if is not constitutional approved, meaning only those that have money wins election. What do we call a system, where money for allocations are been embezzled by the government officers and contractors paying wickedness to the people that brought them to power. What do you call a system graduate with merit move from office to office in their thousands looking for jobs but the high government official has prepared a place for their children yet unborn. What do we call a system where government official loots funds and go scout free while the common man on the street rots in prison because of hundred nairas (#100). What do we call a system where some individuals are above the law in fact there is the law of the nation making the constitution inactive. What do we call a system in which the executive that are supposed to execute the law is even the thorns in the skin of the people? Let count only but a few, I called this a RAPE OF DEMOCRACY,we have been RAPED I wonder who will JUDGES the offenders. A HOME WHERE INJUSTICE IS ALLOWED THERE WILL ALWAYS BE AGILATION…… Let make things right so we can live in peace and unity God bless Nigeria ANIEMEKA NATHANIEL |
Dreams of our fathers past, They fought and are gone, Dream of better homeland. There tears mixed with blood, They watch their brother die, Hunger design their fate, They turn to carnival, eat their own. They fought with faith, Fighting for a better land. Once a nation that never last, It came and gone like wind. It fly away with wing, To empty cloud. It mark it name among the living. Men fought with their blood To keep it, Women loss their husband to have it. I dream of better land, Where my children could fly. Like an eagle in d sky. I dream of land of honor, Where men live like brother. I dream of land of power, Where men can protect it brother. I dream of land of justice, Where heroes are not make zero. I dream of a land of Zion, Where God is protected. written by ANIEMEKA NATHANIEL |
life a vapour Life with only one chance Life in a man is like a vapor Of the stream. It is one life with only one chance, It is a game, if fail to win you die. You win to gain your purpose, But if fail is better not to be born. Do what you can while the breath is in Before the candle is burnth, Then melt like suphur. Oh life full of principles, With many laws to obey. Obey the law and it path become clear, It is a theatre full of drama, The bad, the good and the ugly are cast, Spectator pay to watch, At the end of the day, Forget the action in the drama. Only remember the actor With spectacle actions. Oh life full of shadow of itself, A embodiment of confusion, Deceiver of destiny, Realization of dream. |
my queen Godness of beauty, in midst of the garden. Brightest star among the heaven. Sunshine with a blue eye, Like the angel. My love, words cant define my love, Tears cant show the depth of it, Some men search, but never found it, Some is before them, but loss it. Some is before them, but never notice, Some refuse it, took it to the grave . But I found it, And never let it go. I am fill with ocean of love. Move by motion to love, Feel with emotion of love. Angel of the morning star, My queen, my angel of the night and day, With rose flower. My queen, above the queen have seen My gold, above the treasure i have. My lady finest among them all. by aniemeka nathaniel |
