Good Evening everyone. i am a bit confused about the possibility of working with a tourist visa in canada. do i need to get a job offer first before applying for a work permit. or do i have to get a work permit before i can get a job.

A little research I made (Canada is like the US in terms of job seeking ) they can allow you seek for a job with a TRV , as a visitor or Tourist , but once you have a job , you have to switch to work permits . The company has to send you LMIA to work, and most times , it's allowed that you can apply inside Canada.

That being said, you need an offer letter to apply for an LMIA ( this usually comes from your employer as well as the contract letter showing how much your salary is) there and then you can apply for a work permit.
Canada wants everything documentary.
That's as far as I know. The experts here can add or debunk.
