HARDDON:Well said... Lol...I like your perspective...#Peace |
Think about how the Search Engine has made your life better... The success of Google brought about Gmail (one of the best email clients), Google Adsence, etc... Think about how many people make money off Google... Think about how many businesses succeed because of Google. Think about the tons of free stuff Google has made available for us: Free search... Google Analytics (free). Etc. I believe it'd be here for long. |
Geez... Any day, anytime--give me 5 hot kenkeys and a bowl full of fishes...I'd clear it. Lol. I've prolly tasted everything that can be taken with soup in Nigeria, but Kenkey tops them all. Trust me. Everyone knew me back in High School as the Nigerian who loves Kenkey more than Ghanaians. I used to trade my morning monday and Friday food for extra fishes and kenkey. Haha! I miss those days. |
So I've received this comment(check pic below) like 3 times on my site: Some "Mr Wiliams" guy promising to upgrade WAEC result. I suspected it was one of those scams. Anyway, today, I decided to call the number, and the guy on the other side sounded pretty convincing. I pretended I was some Igbo guy (I'm half though), asked him how much...He told me if he wanted to charge me, I may not be able to afford it. He asked me how much I could afford and I told em 4k Naira, we settled for 5k. He told me to send my index no, serial no, and pin. I know anything can happen in Nigeria, so my question: has this actually worked for anyone you know? (I'm just curious). I wouldn't be a big deal to upgrade WAEC results so far the person has full access to the WAEC database bearing that result. All the same: do you know anyone who this has worked for? PS: DOn't call the guy oo. #Peace

Reminds me of mine--good old days. PS: I planned to get a minimum of 5 A's. However, I just got 1, and the rest B's. It greatly surprised me that I didn't get an A in Social Studies, Biology, Inter Science or even Core Maths. It still pains me till today. I schooled in Ghana, and I believe the examiners where biased to students from Private schools. And most of the teachers that set these WASSCE questions are from Government schools

fattbabakay:That's correct! Real traffic. |
periwyte2:When I initially saw your post, I taught you were hosting it on WordPress--it'd have been easier and better. With --I doubt. I haven't heard of such #Sincerely #NoOffense #Peace |
Hello guys(first post, finally registered an account about 3 days ago). I've been a staunch follower of Nairaland threads. At least, I come here to get the latest gist happening in Nigeria. I also visit the webmaster section to see whether I could learn 1 or 2 things from the pros in ther--I've seen very innovative comments and threads on there. However, over the months, I've come to notice a category of people on the Nairaland Webmaster / programming section. I feel these people(bloggers/webmasters) are destined to fail if they don't change their tactics ASAP. 1). The desperate ones: These guys are desperate for success, but they seem not to know what to do to get it. They seem They easily buy any jargon. Hence, after they're disappointed again-and-again, they'd live the game. For example: Check out this thread and see whether you can detect what is wrong. It's funny people bought that. 2). The fakers: These guys display fake stuff-- fake stats, fake traffic stats, fake Adsense stats, etc. At the end they offer to sell something to you, directly or indirectly. The truth is that long-term successful businesses are not built on deceit/lies. 3). Those in need of auto traffic, and those willing to sell it: Auto generated traffic would hurt you if you run any ad programs like Google AdSense. 4). Those promising to make you "rich" by selling something to you. 5). Those willing to buy AdSense accounts. Once your site is banned from Adsense—it's banned. If it's not approved, then work on it, and resubmit. Otherwise, it's likely to get banned or your ads deactivated if found. 6). The Creepy Promoters: These guys promote their blogs/site in every instance--even in irrelevant topics. I see this to be worst than spam, because you actually get to see their creepy post. I wonder who clicks on those. 7). Those with crappy sites--Wack design, slow sites, too many copyrighted content, etc. Don't be decieved--you'd not rank well in the Search Engines if you do this. .Those with terrible domain names--I don't want to mention names. Choosing a domain name is not an easy thing, but it's worth it.9). Those willing to participate in black SEO. Add yours if you care #NoOffense #Peace Building a successful site is not a one days work--there are no shortcuts. It takes hardwork and you doing the right thing--plus being smart, innovative, etc. |
