But the APC counsel had earlier caused an uproar in the Tribunal when he asked Clement obaze "was 242 not the accredited votes in your unit?, to which the witness replied "Yes". Edo Governorship Petition Tribunal Update: Subpoenaed Ballot Papers Lands Tribunal
The subpoenaed ballot papers from INEC arrived the tribunal exactly 5:15pm as requested by the erudite led counsel to PDP Yesuf Alli (SAN), as he referred the judge to paragraph 753, page 217 in the petition, we pleaded that your lordship sanction the provision of used ballot papers , which you earlier obliged.

The counsel to the 3rd respondent objected that they were never served the subpoena documents or never privy to such move, responding Yesuf Alli (SAN) said INEC was duly served on the 6th day of February 2017 and requested they provide the subpoena documents.

While also responding, counsel to the APC, Ken Mozia (SAN) told the court that he welcomes the recounting exercise.
Furthermore, Counsel to PDP told the court that the court signed the subpoenaed document by the tribunal compelling INEC to provide ballot papers.

The PDP candidate at the September 28 2016 Edo state governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu took to the witness box today, to testify in favor of the PDP and himself in the petition they both filed before the Elections petitions tribunal sitting in Benin city.

He is one of the four hundred and fifty witnesses which counsel to the PDP, Mr Roland Otaru, SAN told reporters that they will be calling to the tribunal to challenge the declaration by the INEC of the APC and its governorship candidate, Mr. Godwin Obaseki as winners of the said election.
In his written testimony, he told the tribunal that the right of the PDP and himself to present the petition is borne out the fact that the PDP is a registered political party while he was the the party’s candidate, and has a right to have been returned or elected at the said election.

He said the petition was borne out of the fact that he and the PDP as a registered party which participated in the election and sponsored him filed the petition dissatisfied with the conduct in many places that he set in the petition and consequently with the INEC results.
The PDP candidate also said that he adopts his written testimony which read in part that the second defendant , Mr Godwin Obaseki was not duly elected by the majority of the votes in the election. [READ MORE]

Clash Between Motorcyclists and Nigeria Soldiers in Nasarawa State: There have been a clash between the Motorcyclists which is well known as Okada Riders and Nigeria Soldiers in Nasarawa State, the reason for this clashes is because the motorist complained that the soldiers has been collecting a lot of money from them since they started been on the Nasarawa – Abuja expressway, and the complained that the government is not doing anything about it.

There is worries and so many tension in Nigeria regarding to the killing in Southern Kaduna, and the way the Federal Government has reacted to this issue on ground. This is no more a news that the Fulani headsmen, has been going to villages and killing innocent Nigerians, and also destroying there properties. That has been happening for sometime now since President Buhari took over from President Jonathan.

May Nigerians has stated their displeasure and because it seems that the President is not ready to the them a fight and protect the life of the common man in the country. the killing that happened in Enugu State 2016 it was recorded that over four hundred (400) people died and several injured and yet solution has not been made to checkmate this issue.
