Nigerian singer, Davido has registered for the NYSC Programme. Taking to his Instagram page, he posted a photo of himself in the NYSC uniform.

He captioned it, “Otondo OBO … �� #Nysc.. tying up every loose end ! �”

In a viral video shared by Tunde Ednut, he alleged that Davido might be going for his service year because he wants to build a political career.

He wrote;

Davido just registered for NYSC. Does he really need it? This guy get plan. He will still join politics one day. I’m sure this is all preparation. Mark it, I said this in 2018

Her babydaddy, Olanrewaju Malcolm, the father of her daughter, Leyla has died.

Malcolm, who was a veteran artiste manager and promoter, passed away in the early hours of today, after a prolonged battle with a yet to be disclosed ailment.

In his last post on Instagram, he made a vague reference to his health condition and some friend were elated to see him improving, but he eventually lost the battle, today, due to the paucity of funds for his medical bills.

Yesterday, the media went agog with shock after Ceec, shared a screenshot of an acid bath threat mail she received from a non-fan. Fellow housemate, Ifu Ennada who responded to the threat called for peace between Alex and Cee-C as well as their fans amidst revealing times Alex suffered abuse from Cee-C’s fans.

Now, a similar threat has come her way, indicating that there are plans to give bad reviews to her hair products which are currently on sale.

She shared the screenshot below of a message from a concerned fan who hinted her about the evil plans being allegedly hatched by team Cee-C whatsapp group.

Popular Ghanaian actress, Ella Mensah was robbed in Festac, Lagos, on her way home from a movie location.



The actress, who shared the scary incident on her Instagram Story, said she was so afraid for her life as her ”car screen” was broken by the armed robbers who pointed a gun at her. An iPhone X and an iPhone 7plus were stolen from her. The robbers also made away with all the money she had on her.

Leo and Cee-C have been sparking relationship rumours for a while now, following their lovey dovey appearances at different events.

In an interview with Arise TV yesterday, when asked what the true position of things between herself and Leo, Cee-C gave an insight into what they both share at the moment.

”I will be very honest with you. I think Leo is an amazing guy. He is actually a very great guy. You know we didn’t get to know ourselves in the house but right now what we are doing is that we are getting to know ourselves.

On her quarrel with her former love interest in the house, Tobi, Cee- said she was disappointed when she out of the house to find out that people whom she looked up to as role models, actually wrote an epistle condemning her, forgetting that when people are locked up in a place without any escape for their emotions and all, they are bound to make mistakes.

Joro Olumofin has advised all ladies in relationships to have back up or contingency boyfriends.

Kelly Hansome has accused Don Jazzy of trying to get him arrested twice.

The singer had a famous beef saga with Chocolate City star, MI and went on to release diss tracks against the defunct Mo’hits headed by Don Jazzy and D’banj.

Kelly Hansome penned down a birthday message to his army captain friend, disclosed that he was set up with a stolen laptop to make it look like he was a fraudster.

He wrote,

“HBD to the most rugged Capo @awwalbiu The two times our brother @donjazzy and his people orchestrated my arrest, one for making a cover to the song ‘Feeling Good’ and the other when they set me up with a stolen laptop in a quest to make me look like a fraudster; �‍♂️ moved me from Kano where I was recording a campaign song for PDP to SARS Abuja and locked me up for no reason.

“This man and @areafada1 made sure I was good. I turned my cell block into a concert and all inmates chanted MAGA DON PAY and LIKE PLAY and we talked all night. Mayorkun has continued to drop hits after hits to the delight of his millions of fans across the globe.

The Sade crooner spoke with KOKO TV for an exclusive interview where he talked about his career, family, relationship and more.

Excerpts from the interview below:

KOKO: Who is Mayorkun?

Mayorkun is an entertainer, a graduate, a prospective accountant, a dreamer lol. I can be a lot of things in different types of situations.

KOKO: On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate the Nigerian music industry?

KOKO: What is your most embarrassing moment as an artiste?

When I planned a show for like nothing less than 6 months and few days to the show, My DJ lost his laptop and we had to get a new one but he wasn’t used to the laptop, this caused me to have several glitches on set while performing. I was looking more or less unprepared for that kind of big event which was really embarrassing.

KOKO: Tell us something about Mayorkun many people do not know?

Errr, I’m close to my mum. I have a lot of older friends.

KOKO: When are you planning to set up your own record label?

No set time in mind, only when the time is right. For now, I am just building my brand.

KOKO: If you could date any Nigerian female act, who would it be and why?

Errr….Simi or Eva Alordiah. No major reason, they are my type, lol.

KOKO: What’s your relationship with Davido like?

We family!

KOKO: Are you in a relationship at the moment?

No, I’m not cuurently dating. I used to but am single at the moment.

KOKO: Who was she?

She’s just a normal girl naa lol. The relationship ended a year ago.

KOKO: What’s your relationship with your dad like?

We are very cool. My dad is my guy. We don’t talk as much, but we are good.

KOKO: You have been in the industry for a while now, when should we be expecting your debut album?

Sometime in October this year

KOKO: What really happened during your concert in Ibadan a few weeks ago?

I wasn’t there when the drama happened, I was on stage when Dotun told me to announce that a doctor is needed backstage, which I did. About the condoms, apparently, there was a sex awareness program going on and people started toying with the condoms, blowing into balloons and stuff

KOKO: What was the doctor needed for?

Apparently, a drunk person passed out backstage, that was the info I got, not until I started hearing different stories later.

KOKO: A recent article suggested that a joint album with Dremo would be nice, what’s your thoughts on this?
I think we already have an album lol, considering the number of records we have together that are not yet out.

Chubby actress, Amara Maduka, is gradually becoming one of the most sought after in the movie industry.

In this interview, the Anambra State-born role interpreter speaks on her career, love life and challenges of being a plus-sized thespian. Enjoy it.

Can you briefly tell us about yourself?

I’m Amara Maduka, from Anambra State. I’m from a family of three. I’m the first daughter and second child. I’m an actor, writer and aspiring producer.

How long have you been acting?

I have been acting for five years now.

Can you mention some of the movies you have done?

I have featured in Maduka Daughters, Village Flavour, Okirika, The Israelite, Good Marriage, and Three Bad Girls, to mention a few.

How did you join the movie industry?

I joined the movie industry after leaving school. I knew I have the talent and I decided to pursue it.

What were the challenges you faced at the early stage?

My weight was a big challenge. I was very fat at the time and I didn’t get featured in roles I knew I could deliver, because all the producers saw was a fat, ugly girl. Not my talent.

How did you overcome it?

Oh well, when you get tired of being fed bullshit, you have to make a change at some point. All that matters is how you see yourself. I knew I am more than what they could see and that image alone kept me going.

Did it make you depressed?
I battled depression at some point. But like I said, if you know who you are, nothing can stop you. Not for too long.

Sexual harassment is a common trend in the industry, how did you scale through?
I haven’t been sexually harassed by any producer, I’m one of the lucky ones.

Did you hit the gym or work on your size to fit in?

I didn’t work on myself to ‘fit in’. I’m working on myself for me. I love to look good. And I’m only just getting started.

How supportive were your parents when you took the bold step to join Nollywood?

I have just my mom now. My dad wouldn’t have allowed it, but my mom is supportive.

You lost your dad?

Yeah in 2012.

Did your boyfriend at that time give you the go ahead?

I’ve never really dated anyone all my life. It’s funny but true. I’m just learning to truly give love a chance now.
