Two Ghanaian men identified as Eric Aidan and Matthew Kwasha on December 9, 2018, poured a raw acid on their coworker, Taiwo Adesanya before rubbing him at Olukwu in Benin city of Edo State.

According to reports, the two men specialized in rubbing their victims after killing them with raw acid.

Ex-militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has disagreed with the call by the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, to boycott 2019 elections.

Members of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), have taken a swipe at the self embattled activist, Deji Adeyanju, over his court case with the Nigeria Police Force.

The activist, who had earlier lambasted the leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, over his stance on the 2019 election, is now facing trial at the Karshi Magistrate Court, Abuja, for “unlawful assembly and unruly protest”.

Upon his arrest, the police spokesman, Ag. DCP Jimoh Moshood in a statement, said the activist alongside Daniel Abobama and Boma Williams were arrested for “criminal defamatory comments and utterances capable of inciting public disturbance, threat to public security and safety, criminal defamatory and derogatory conduct against constituent authority and breach of law and order pasted by Deji Adeyanju on his Facebook page.”

While the suspects were remanded in Keffi prison, Nasarawa, and his case adjourned to January 21st, 2019, IPOB members have described the activist as a hypocrite.

Faiz Nurden, a 25-year-old man from Kampung Pasir Jonge in Indonesia, has killed his neighbour for repeatedly asking him "when are you getting married?"

Two thieves have been apprehended in Aba after they stole N350,000 from an unidentified man.

According to reports, a man withdrew the said amount from ATM and was about to enter his car when two guys with bike double crossed him and collected the money and drove off.

The man raised alarm and people around ran after then and apprehended them where there was traffic jam.

I met Kunle on a WhatsApp group last year. We chatted for a few months. He told me he was based in Dubai as a business man and also said he was looking for a woman to marry.

He was not ready for games and sounded like my kind of man. I didn’t believe him initially because it sounded too good to be true. He spent quite a lot on me. He sent me gifts and money regularly.

The first time we met in person after doing Skype and WhatsApp video calls for months was in May 2017. He proposed to me in a popular five star hotel on Maryland (some of you may know the hotel). I was in total bliss, too much joy!

I met his parents who were living in Abeokuta after that. He met mine in Lagos here and we agreed that we should start planning the wedding so the next time he comes, it will be in August 2017.

Of course, he sent the money for everything. He was always calling and all. My friend Joy was concerned that I was rushing things but I didn’t listen cos I just didn’t want to think any thing negative.

Besides, I already knew his parents. I practically visited his parents every weekend after he introduced me to them. They loved me. They were happy their son was getting married because they had been on his case for so long.

Kunle is 42 and this would be his first marriage. We got married according to plan last August 2017. It was the happiest day of my life. It was such a beautiful day. My friends and family were all there.

Everyone was happy for me and I was grateful to God. I had waited for my dream man. I kept myself, I was 34. It was hard but I am glad it paid off.

My problems started after our wedding night. We made love that night. He was my first and it was beautiful.

In the morning, he got a call from Dubai. He was called for an important business call. He had to leave immediately as the international partners were expecting him in South Africa that evening.

Sadly, we had to put our honeymoon plans on hold. He promised to send me a ticket to Maimi next weekend so we can start our honeymoon. I bade him goodbye and that was the last I heard of him.
