P-Square born on (18 November 1981) was a Nigerian R&B duo of identical twin brothers Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye. They produced and released their albums through Square Records. In December 2011, they signed a record deal with Akon's Konvict Muzik label.

In May 2012, they signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music's South African branch. On 25 September 2017, numerous media outlets reported that the group disbanded.

Reports about a breakup surfaced after Peter reportedly sent a termination letter to the group's lawyer. Prior to this report, the duo disbanded in 2016, supposedly over a disagreement about the role of their manager.

Grandmother Grace Atinuke (born November 16, 1931) is known to be the first ever Miss Nigeria, having won the pageant — also the maiden edition — in 1957.

Though she hails from Kogi State, Grandma Oyelude was born in Kano to James Adeleye Olude and Marthan Dantu, who both hail from Isanlu, present day Kogi State.

The story of how she became the first Miss Nigeria is as riveting as her enigmatic personality, even in her advanced old age.

Miss Nigeria started in 1957 as a photo contest, whereby contestants posted photographs of themselves to The Daily Times headquarters in Lagos. Finalists were shortlisted, and successful finalists were invited to compete in the live final at the Lagos Island Club.

Then, the Miss Nigeria contest did not include a swimsuit competition.

Then, Oyelude was working at UAC when she represented the then Northern region. After winning the contest, she travelled to England where she studied Nursing. Within months of gaining admission to the School of Nursing in Ashford, she was crowned Miss Nigeria.

She tells her story: “I was living in Kano then. My brother saw the advertisement in the newspapers and advised me to go to Lagos for an interview to be selected as a Miss Nigeria contestant.

“He applied, and the result was that I was supposed to be in Lagos for the Miss Nigeria contest.

“I was working in the UAC then, and they also were also involved in the pageant.

“The following day, they got me on a plane to Lagos and that was it.”

Oyelude currently holds the chieftaincy titles Iyaolu of Isaluland and Iyalode of Okunland. She has many grandchildren.

More recently, precisely on July 16, 2018, her ebullient nephew and a Professor of English Language at Carleton University in Canada, Pius Adesanmi, posted a photograph of the gracefully ageing Grandma Oyelude.

OAP Maria Okan who has been in the UK since welcoming her daughter Monife months ago, left fans comparing her daughter's look with that of her rumoured baby daddy Olamide after sharing her first full photos.

The former Beats FM media personality who shared photos of her daughter on Instagram, revealed that she is always smiling.

She wrote "

This is the real her. Always smiling and talking... non-stop noise. She was shy yesterday LOL. This is why I didn’t want to post her on IG, because momma won’t be able to stop. Gotta go now, can’t post anymore or else her grandma will come for my neck! .

On November 11, 2019, the Department of anti-drug collaborated with the Dan Dan express bus company in a bust coordinated by Mr. Seth Vannak, Phnom Penh prosecutor, to seize a shipment of drugs which was being delivered from Vietnam to Sihanoukville. The police found six packs of ICE drug (methamphetamine), weighing 5895.82 grams, hidden in a speaker.

After the investigation, the police arrested a Nigerian man, NDUKWU JONATHAN CHUKWUJEKWU, a 26-year-old footballer, and two Cambodian women, Pok Sreyleak, 28 years old, and Yun Sreynou, 20 years old.

At 3:30 pm on the same day, the Cambodian police checked the house of the Nigerian man and found more evidence such as 9 grams of marijuana, a speaker, three phones, nine pumps, one cleaning machine, three passports. The police confiscated the 5895,82 grams of "ice" and 9 grams of marijuana.

Government officials said to be from the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), stormed Victory Park estate in Lagos in the early hours of today November 11th, to seal up an apartment owned by one of the residents.

Recall that in June this year, AMCON initially seized Victory Park because the owner had used the estate as a collateral for a loan despite selling off the housing units to different individuals. AMCON decided to take over the estate after he failed to pay up his loan. Read here. According to reports, some of the residents were able to reach an agreement with AMCON while others battled it out.


One of the residents of the estate took AMCON to court and according to reports, was able to secure a court judgement last week Friday barring AMCON from taking over his own apartment. He was reported to have pasted the court order in front of his house.

A resident of the estate who sent in a video to LIB, said alleged AMCON officials in company of over 50 soldiers stormed the house of the resident who took them to court and sealed off his house.
