A man has reportedly died while watching porn at a sex shop in Italy.

The 60-year-old British tourist is suspected to have suffered a heart attack in a private booth while watching porn inside a sex shop located in Marghera near Venice over the weekend.

The man whose name is yet to be revealed reportedly paid five euros for a 15-minute video and shut himself in one of the rooms before switching on a red light indicating 'busy'. But when owner Franco Garoni grew worried as his customer was to yet to be out after elapsing his time, he went in to find him collapsed on the floor, Il Gazzettino reported.

According to Mr. Garoni, the Briton had seemed 'quiet' and perhaps 'tired' when he arrived but had not seemed on the brink of death.The Italian said he called emergency services, but when doctors arrived it was too late to resuscitate the lifeless man.

There was panic at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger State, on Friday following a clash between tanker drivers and students of the institution.

City Round learnt that at least three cars and many motorcycles were burnt while the mayhem reportedly paralysed academic activities.

It was learnt that the crisis started on Thursday after a truck hit a pick-up van conveying some students from the main campus in Gida’n Kwanu to the mini campus of the varsity along Bida-Minna Road, Bosso, leaving some of them injured.

One of the students reportedly sustained a life-threatening injury.

Our correspondent learnt that the students were going for a campaign preparatory to the students’ union election which was supposed to hold on Friday.

A student, who spoke to City Round on condition of anonymity, said the truck driver went into hiding at a nearby filling station which angered the students.

He said students vandalised some vehicles parked at the filling station after the management refused to produce the driver.

He said, “The Bida-Minna Road is terrible. Government repaired it shortly before the election and stopped trucks from plying it during the day. But immediately after the election, they returned to the road.

“The students were heading for mini campus along the road to campaign for the Student Union Government election. The trailer was trying to avoid a porthole but in the process hit the van that was conveying the students. Some students were injured. The students protested at the filling station where the driver ran to and vandalised some vehicles. Everywhere was tense. There was no movement on the road and many people had to pass the night on the campus.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Abubakar Daninna, confirmed the incident, but said normalcy had returned to the campus.

A businessman, Onyekachi Nwosu, has died while having sex with his lover, identified simply as Chima, in the Aguda area of Surulere, Lagos State.

PUNCH Metro gathered that Nwosu and Chima visited the Alfredo Suites around 10pm for a short-time rest, but the 36-year-old man suddenly started gasping for air.

Chima, who was jolted by her lover’s condition, rushed out of the room to alert the receptionist and others at the hotel to the development.

It was learnt that the manager of the hotel, Uche Ejionye, in company with other staff members, rushed to the room only to discover that Nwosu had died.

When PUNCH Metro visited the hotel, it was gathered that the receptionist, one Marylyn, and the waitress, identified simply as Mary, who served the room 107, where the lovers lodged, were arrested alongside Chima by personnel from the Aguda Police Division, who visited the scene of the incident.

Ejionye told our correspondent that a barman, Isaac, who saw Chima screaming for help at the reception, called him to attend to her, adding that when they got to the room to find out what had happened, they met Nwosu’s lifeless body naked on the bed.

The manager stated, “I was in the bar with some guests, who came to lodge, when Isaac suddenly rushed to inform me that Chima was panting at the reception. I immediately went to enquire what was wrong and she said something had happened in the room. The security guard and I went to the room and met Nwosu’s lying naked on the bed.

“When I asked her what happened, Chima said she and Nwosu had a round of sex and afterwards, he started shivering and that was when she rushed to call us. I told her that he was dead and called the Divisional Police Officer, Aguda Division, who instructed us not to release her.

“When the police came, Chima and two of the hotel workers, Marylyn and Mary, who served the lovers, were arrested. But I accompanied them to the station, where we all wrote statements, and later, the police, our security guard and I went back to evacuate the corpse to the Mainland Hospital’s mortuary around 2am.”

A source in the area, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said if Chima had not been apprehended, the hotel management would have been held responsible for Nwosu’s death, adding that the deceased’s car, which was parked a distance away from the hotel, was taken to the police station.

PUNCH Metro, learnt from another source, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, that Nwosu’s family, after being informed of the incident, refused to press charges against Chima after a doctor, who is a member of the family concluded that he died of cardiac arrest.

The source said, “One of the relatives of the deceased is a doctor and listened to Chima’s explanation that after they finished making love, he went for a shower in the bathroom and came back to lay on the bed and started gasping for air and foamy substances started coming out of his mouth before he died.

“I was told that the family said they were not pressing charges and demanded the release of his remains for burial, because the doctor said he was convinced that he died of cardiac arrest.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, who confirmed the incident, said investigation into the matter was ongoing, adding that immediately the police were alerted on September 12, personnel were mobilised to the scene and the corpse was evacuated to the mortuary.

“We have launched an investigation into the case and also moved the corpse to the mortuary. We have questioned some persons, who we believe could shed light on what really transpired before the man died. Investigation is ongoing,” Elkana stated.

Benue State Police Command has confirmed that four suspects have been arrested in connection with 10 bodies found buried in a shallow graves in Benue community.

On Wednesday, police detectives led a suspect to a thick forest in Agbatse village, Ushonho Local government area in Benue state and exhumed 10 bodies killed and hurriedly buried in shallow graves.

The 30-year-old suspect told the police that he killed about 30 people, mostly Okada riders and buried them secretly.

The suspect said he was acting on a direction of juju man who prepared a charm for him and assured if he killed a certain number of people, he will have supernatural powers like wanted criminal gang leader Terwase Akwaza aka Gana.

Police spokesperson Kate Anene confirmed the incident and said four suspects have been arrested in connection with the crime and would be paraded on Friday.

Davido had on September 14 confirmed that Chioma was pregnant with their first baby together.

The confirmation came a day after the singer formally got engaged to the 24-year-old chef at a restaurant in London.

The family of the two lovers had an introduction at Chioma’s parents’ house in Lagos.
