Magnifico2000: Maybe i need a clarification some terminologies. Nightking Nightwalker Wight Wightwalker Night king....oga of white walker Wight....the zombie - like dead skeletons. Whitewalker...they look like the nights king and can be killed by dragon glass or valerian steel The rest don't exist |

Magnifico2000: I just have a simple question for you. Do u think the brains of the night walkers function effectively? If yes! Why did they stop when they were drowning? If No, thy should av all died. They are not smart but they aren't dumb either. They are under the control of the white walker. They are smarter than zombies but not as smart as humans |

IamLEGEND1: I don't care much about whatever breaks in logic viewers notice in a show.... I'm mostly just here to have a good time but let me indulge myself for a bit...
So, You ignore the largest dragon which also happens to be carrying all the people you're trying to kill and go after the much smaller one flying above which obviously wasn't trying to get away? Yeah, that sounds totally reasonable. Well, he made the choice. If you shoot the one on the ground first, the remaining 2 will get away. But if you shoot the one getting away first, then you have time to shoot the one on the ground before he gets away. Too bad he missed. If you play call of duty, you will understand |

Dalek: dat they didn't tell don't matter, so far it's the same map as from the book (case point: the opening sequence) the distance has to be same. they only expect us to suspend our believes as the time jumps to easily get the characters to where dey need to be. The opening sequence map is not the map of the world in the show. |

Dalek: with the wall so high, anyone on top will be able to see that distance. Gendry running that fast na scam. next episode the time jumps will be worse. You don't know what you are saying. He ran overnight. How is that scam? He was even exhausted when he got to the wall. The squad were a day's walk from the wall, gendry ran back in like 6 hours. Is that not reasonable? |

Dalek: well said, i only had issue with the guys saying dey trekked for one hr from eastwatch b4 gendry ran back. its just too close. if the army of the dead is just an hr from the wall, then all chips are down. Jon snow merry band were on that rock for close to a day. The nights king has waited for thousands of years. I am sure he isn't in a hurry. |

GMan650: Jon left Dragonstone with some men and some dragonglass. Wouldn't it have made sense if those men had taken the dragonglass to Winterfell and give updates about Jon's whereabouts? I don't wanna believe they went to Eastwatch with Jon and the dragonglass with the fact that two boats sailed from dragonstone.
TheKingIsHere Iamlegend1 BraniacX Why will he carry the glass to winterfell when the fight will be at the wall? Is that not long journey? |

Dalek: overnight you say?? So Gendry ran so fast enough to eastwatch, sent a raven so fast to DragonStone, Danny flew so fast from Dragonstone too all in one night? GRRM said Westeros is as big as South America, the time jumps just don't make sense. no one is whining, talking about the holes are part of enjoying the show imho Gendry ran overnight. It's flight. You think a dragon or birds will be as slow as a human walking? Are you listening to yourself? |

Cybertext: Some People are just here "whinging" about loopholes and plotholes... (this is a fantasy show remember? )
Someone earlier said how did Gendry run back so fast and got to the east watch easily. ... forgetting that the suicide squad were trekking and gisting from east watch up to the mountain with a pointed arrow head (the one the hound saw in the fire).
The walk was within a day obviously looking at the sun during the walk (it might be a hour walk more or less from east watch no one knows).
The lake where the suicide squad were trapped could have taken several hours (i think it was even overnight), to solidify for it not to break again.
Those Wight were even all on sleep mode before uncle clegane went on stoning party.
My point is watch the plot and enjoy it stop looking for unnecessary plot holes... just enjoy the show and stop whining around. It's what happens when people don't pay attention or have stupid theories. They will then blame the plot because their theories were false or they weren't paying attention |

She made a dumb decision to go find out who owns the dagger rather than do it in another manner. Maybe she wouldnt have been killed. It wasn't a dumb decision because they needed the proof. They now have it. How is it a dumb decision when it was necessary? |

Lana1:
As much as i like Jon, he is really starting to annoy me. How can som1 keep making similar mistakes over & over.
Wen Nîhilist was bashing him after the battle of the bastards i thought he was merely hating but now i see his point. Poor Leadership skills with terrible decision making.
U already ve ur proof that the undead army exists. Ok. Get on the dragon and fly away. But no, that was when he knew he'd unleash his "inner Hulk/Superman" and take on all the walkers. TF! He not only got his uncle killed(because some1 had to come save his dumbazz as usual), he almost got drogon killed too.
Anyways, i thought the walkers couldn't swim or survive for long in water. So how on earth did they go down to chain viserys and drag him out of that frozen lake?? Plothole number 1.
Uncle Benjen swoops in to save the day. Gets down, drags Jon unto his horse and cant get on it himself?? Only to come up with an excuse of "no time"?? Plothole number 2.
The suicide squad was able to catch up to the undead army within a day. And Gendry was able to run back to the wall within same day......but....but......The army has been marching on(towards) the wall for God knows how long now....i'm not understanding. Plothole number 3 1) you made that assumption. The wights literally came out of the water to drag Tormund into it. You made that assumption yet you are calling it a plot hole. Where in the show did they say wights cannot swim? 2) Uncle benjen has served his purpose. He drew the attention of the wights so that they wouldn't chase Jon's horse. He was willing to die. This isn't a plothole. 3)you are making stupid assumptions again and blaming the show that your assumption didn't come true. The squad trekked from the wall to the mountain (Probably took a day or 2), then Gendry had to run back to the wall ( he ran overnight). You are assuming that the WW have been matching to the wall. Why will they match to the wall when they cannot pass it? Your assumptions are whack. Its not a plothole |

Eberex: Magical spear? So if the spear had hit the dragon at their tails, they would still die?
It's nothing about being magical. If Bronn had hit a major artillery drogon would be dead too. It's all about the target. Bulls eye That spear shatters steel swords. It turns people into ice. It's a magical spear bro. Watch the episode again. |

GMan650: It took the wights some time after Jon's departure before they started attacking Benjen and moreso, there were a lot of wights around to attack Benjen and at the same time pursue Jon. That's how wights attack. They focus on one person before moving to the next. |

IamLEGEND1: the coming 'winter' that GoT has managed to sear into our minds is more figure of speech than anything else..... A.K.A the White walkers. The night king is currently a pretty good distance from king's landing but I have no doubt if he does venture far south, snow will be the least of the things they'll see or be worried about. That said, In the show's world there has been no mention of snow or any 'ordinary' winter in king's landing and Gendry just confirmed as much.... It's literally winter. That's why stannis wanted to take winter fell asap. Winter + WW |

Chysler: We should probably start protest early to demand they give us pre- sequel of scenes before Roberts rebellion... Starting from the invasion by the first men and their war with the children of the forest, the flooding of the neck, the peace pact, the invasion by the andals with their sept... The balkanisation of the andals into the seven kingdoms, the battle for the control of the trident by the storm kings, iron borns and the vale... Then the coming of rhegar but before this they will show us the ghizcary empire of essos, its rise and fall... The rise of the slaver bays and the coming of the dothrakis... The finding of the dragon egg by valyrian shepherds and the eventual rise of the of the valyrian empire and its cataclysmic decline into the Boiling sea... Then the beautiful city of volantes with its rise in worship of the God of light... The sacking of volantes by valyrian dragons which led to the grey scale disease as a curse and the eventual voyage of nymeria woman warrior of volantes to Dorne sea she was accepted by the Martell families alone and how she conquered and ruled the Dorne after marrying the Martell prince... Also the rise of bravoos as a economic power by slaves..
All this and many more needs pre-sequel... We demand this... If transgennders and gays can have their right, it is our right to be entertained... Hashtag #HBOgiveuspresequel. The show is expensive. Unless you want to find it |

TheKingIsHere: Thats what am saying. Episode 6 is a great one but filled with several loopholes. Anyways, we have to overlook them but it doesn't stop us from pin pointing them out. Several? Everything is explainable if you pay attention or have been paying attention. Maybe except 1 or 2. List your loopholes let me see if I can explain. |

GMan650: Loopholes plenty but we have to overlook them. Why did Benjen not follow Jon? He said "there's no time". But there was enough time for Jon to escape. If he followed Jon, the wights will chase the horse. Don't forget that they are fast, they are not slow like zombies. And then the horse will be slower with 2 people on it But by sacrificing himself, he took the attention off Jon and gave him time. |

TheKingIsHere: another loophole of episode 6 that I was talking about You have never played call of duty. You attack the soldier running before attacking the one that is not running. If you attack the one standing first, the one running gets away. But if you attack the one running first, you still have time to attack the one standing before it starts to run. Same applies here. |
TV/Movies › Re: Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 Discussion (Terrible Spoilers!) by gj22(m): 10:55pm On Aug 17, 2017 |
Gbola5: This isn't possible. The best expalnation is that Gendry hasn't experienced any winter or snow hasn't falled yet in King's Landing. When the white ravens were released at the Citadel, they flew to every corner of Westeros signaling winter, so definitely snow falls at King's Landing. Snow falls in the Riverlands when Arya and the Brotherhood were there just this season, and King's Landing is only East of there. The problem i have is Gendry saying he hasn't seen snow at his age, it's just not accurate. The last winter was only a few years before the start of the series, show or book.
Tl;dr : Snow falls in King's Landing, just not yet. Gendry should have seen snow. I meant regularly like winterfell not during winter. I guess you are right. |

IamLEGEND1: I'm glad you pointed that out. If a wight can be taken across now, a WW very well can. They only need to physically bring the wall down to stroll through which may be why the NK needed that dragon. Personally, I think the theory about the NK's mark on bran is proving to be True and cold hands simply didn't know at the time.
But I guess we'll see how it goes in the finale..... Then maybe this argument will be settled for good. The wall was built to stop WW not wights. It has been said in the show countless times. A wight being able to pass doesn't mean a WW can. Uncle benjen even said he cannot cross. He is alive because of the same magic that made the WW. Yes, we shall see I guess. |

Gbola5: What, he's some seer now ? The whole sequence is suspicious. They had a WW and a group of wights. One of the wights just happened to not be bonded to the white walker and that wight cried for help. Now, during the fight, another wight tried to save the captured wight. I don't know if he is a seer or not but he definitely knows what he's doing. |

IamLEGEND1: You don't agree with my reasons, that's fine...... I don't agree with yours Either. No need to shove your opinion down my throat, bruddah. You have your theories, i have mine . lets stick with that.
And that is all they are- theories..... Because there is no confirmation on the show that only Wights can go beyond the wall..... If they can go beyond the wall, that is. The farthest we've seen one is in castle black attacking the Lord commander and even he was reanimated AFTER his lifeless body was brought in from the north and was already in castle black. There literally is proof because the hound is carrying one to King's landing |
