A Bearish pennant is formed during a steep, almost vertical, downtrend.
After that sharp drop in price, some sellers close their positions while other sellers decide to join the trend, making the price consolidate for a bit.

As soon as enough sellers jump in, the price breaks below the bottom of the pennant and continues to move down.

my people..una good morning. I'm currently still on the basics as regards forex trading and I have a problem pls.. say I have a currency pair in mind to trade like GBPUSD and I open my mt4 app and then open d chart of the corresponding pair.. what Im shown is the candlestick trend like the image below. my issue is that I don't know if I need to analyse all the candlesticks in the chart or use the last candlestick to predict what the next trend will be. I know the different types of candle sticks and what they signify but I don't know if I have to wait before a particular one forms before making my move..

I know the question is complicated but if you understand what I'm TRYING TO SAY pls do assist me.

I will be keeping an eye on Usdzar, as we can see price broke out of the support came back to retest it as resistance giving us a potential pin bar for bearish continuation in the bearish channel.
