Prince Harry And His Wife, Meghan Markle To Arrive in Nigeria Today Friday, May 10th, 2024.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in Nigeria for a private visit following an invitation by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa.

The Director of Sports, Defence Headquarters, DHQ, Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Marquis, said the founder of Invictus Games will spend three days in Nigeria and would interact with wounded soldiers and their families.


He said the visit scheduled from 10th to 13th May 2024 would help wounded soldiers in their recovery efforts.

Skytrax, a UK-based airline and airport review and ranking site has named Cape Town International Airport in South Africa as the best airport in Africa for 2024 while none of Nigeria's airports is part of the list.

This came after Skytrax conducted a survey from August 2023 until March 2024, in which respondents were polled on a variety of areas, from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration, through to departure. Over 100 customer nationalities participated in the survey.

It was also stated that Cape Town airport has the ‘Best airport staff service in Africa’ while Durban King Shaka Airport, which came second, had an additional award for ‘Best regional airport in Africa’.

Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, and his wife, Mabel, have separated after 20 years of friendship/marriage.
AY Makun married Mabel in November 2008, and they’re blessed with two children together. The comedian confirmed the development in a post on his Instagram page on Sunday.

He said he had reached a stage where he could no longer entertain the public with “deep personal family issues.”

He wrote, “Many people believe that staying silent simply means that one is incapable of dealing with issues. Projecting a negative narrative against someone who is not struggling to defend himself doesn’t mean he is weak. Some of us are just logical enough to understand the difference between opinions, values, beliefs, and facts.

His ex-wife, Mabel also addresses the marital crisis. She took to her Instagram page to thank everyone who had been sending her messages to inquire about how she was doing.

The mother of two clarified, though, that it would be incorrect to infer anything from her silence on the matter and that she did, hence, give her children’s father some deference and privacy.
She also revealed that, out of respect for her kids, she will not respond to the numerous lies spread about her on social media.

Guinness World Record: Meet The World’s First Surviving Nonuplets To Appear On TV Show.

In December 2022, aged one and a half years old, the world’s first surviving nonuplets went on their first plane flight

They travelled from Morocco, where they were born and lived for 19 months, to their parents’ home country of Mali 🇲🇱

And now, two months shy of their third birthday, the nonuplets have made their first trip to Europe, visiting Italy to appear on the TV talent show.

Today, Sunday 17th March. A huge crowd was seen as Lagos discounted food markets commenced sales.

The Lagos food market ‘Ounje Eko’, offering discounted prices on essential food items across the state has commenced sales. This comes after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu ordered that food products at the food markets be sold at a discount in all five divisions of Lagos starting on Sunday, March 17. It was observed that staple food items including rice, beans, garri, bread, eggs, tomatoes, and pepper were made available at 25% discounted prices. At various locations, residents trooped in large numbers to purchase different items. One of the residents, who purchased some items, expressed satisfaction with the food market and the prices of the items stating that they were cheap and affordable.

GRANDSON OF HEZBOLLAH CHIEF NASRALLAH, ABBAS AHMED REPORTEDLY KILLED IN ISRAELI AIRSTRIKE.

The grandson of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, Abbas Ahmed Halil, was one of the three Hezbollah terrorists killed on Saturday by an IDF strike in Neqoura in south Lebanon, according to a report by the Syrian radio channel on Sunday.

This is yet to be confirmed by official sources, but the report cites the same attack in which the IDF announced that three Hezbollah operatives were killed in a vehicle in southern Lebanon after an Israeli drone strike attacked it.

Israel Defense Forces said on Saturday it had "struck a vehicle in southern Lebanon, in which several terrorists who launched rockets into Israeli territory were driving." The statement added the jihadists were with the Iran-linked Imam Hossein Division, which operates under Hezbollah.
