Elective positions are not based o appointments. You throw your hat into the ring and contest. Osinbajo contested and the rest is history.

I don't criticise just for the sake of criticising. If you were in Tinubu's shoes, who would you have picked as the VP? Don't forget that he has to win the election before you can talk about sharing of offices.

Anyway, the only time in history that we can point to was in 1979 when both Awolowo's UPN and Azikiwe's NPP fielded Christian Christian tickers and there was no uproar.
