adonainana: Imagine a city that claims to be the largest city in africa , almost 10 million inhabitants
They only have 1 single estate which looks beffitting and only 1 percent of the 10 million people live at exorbitant prices
I know this estate in and out
Anyone buying a property in this estate needs thier brain checked.
How can a building be worth 300 million naira
Thats 150 000 pounds, you can go to the south east of the UK and buy a property there and you will get more rental yield value than anything Kolapo Ishola has to offer
This is the problem with nigerians, the rich create an estate that only the rich can afford and the poor and middle class are left to fend for themsleves
show us where the remaining 99 percent of ibadan inhabitants live.
That exactly is the real picture of where ibadan people live
All estates are meant to look like this not just for the extremly well connexted, politicans, directors of governmental agencies etc
Nigeria is turning slowly into a failed state You have exposed yourself and your bias You claimed that you know the place well but dont know that Ibadan has more than one estate? Continue to wallow in ignorance, albeit deliberately Meanwhile, hope you know where the very first estate in Nigeria was built? |

Politics › Re: Who Or What Is At Fault In The Ongoing Genocide Of Christians In Nigeria? by Globad(f): 11:15am On Oct 04, 2025 |
hotwax: Who or What Is at Fault in the Ongoing Genocide of Christians in Nigeria?
It is no longer news that there is an ongoing religion-inspired ethnic cleansing in Nigeria, especially across the Middle Belt. The entire country—and even the international community—has been pointing fingers at the Nigerian government.
But who exactly is to blame? Is it the Nigerian government? The APC? Tinubu? The Nigerian military? Let’s reason together.
The APC Government and the Nigerian Military
The APC government and the Nigerian military cannot be absolved of blame. After all, one of the core responsibilities of any government is to protect the lives and property of its citizens. In this regard, APC has failed—completely.
However, the full weight of that blame will be addressed in the last part of this write-up.
Nigerian Pastors and Clerics
Not a single major Man of God in Nigeria has spoken up for their flock. It’s strange that jihadists are killing their congregants—the very people who pay tithes and offerings—yet they remain silent.
The silence of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) is even more troubling. Many men of God now openly support the APC government—some willingly, others under pressure because of their hidden compromises.
Is it a crime to support APC? Of course not. But when your support stops you from criticizing a failing government, then it becomes dangerous—both to your integrity and to the lives of those who look up to you.
So, are the clergy also to blame? Let’s continue.
Tithes and Offerings — The Major Culprit
This is where the real problem lies. Many Nigerian pastors are deeply entangled in financial misconduct—laundering money, diverting church funds abroad through influencers, and buying luxurious properties overseas.
The APC government and the EFCC are fully aware of these shady dealings. This knowledge has effectively silenced pastors, making them afraid to speak out for their members.
Such a thing would never happen among Muslims in Nigeria. No Islamic cleric would stay silent if their people were being slaughtered. We all know how fiercely they defend their faith and followers.
Conclusion
The APC government continues to spend more energy denying the genocide than stopping it. This denial only fuels the crisis further—first, in an attempt to preserve the party’s image and public support, and second, because of the embedded jihadist sympathizers within the system who want the carnage to continue.
The role of the APC in the rise of Boko Haram and Fulani jihadist movements in Nigeria is no secret to anyone.
Ultimately, the true fuel behind this genocide is tithe and offering. Once Christians decide to stop paying these “taxes,” the pastors will have no choice but to wake up and speak up.
Right now, many of them are too comfortable watching wolves snatch away their sheep—because they’re too busy enjoying the money. The Christian population in Nigeria is massive. If they stand up and defend themselves, their power would be undeniable.
But the so-called “Daddy G.Os” have caged them. Corruption has caged them. And until that cage is broken, the suffering will continue. Look at the number of times you mentioned APC Realistically, is it the party that's is controlling the government? So, if the president decamps to another political party like Labour or SDP, the problem would be resolved? There was no problem when PDP was in power? Was PDP as a party the one that controlled OBJ, Yar'Adua and Jonathan? So, it's your focus on APC in the post that betrayed your real intentions By the way, you should also mention the specific areas where Christians are being targeted by kidnappers, bandits or robbers Must we religionise or politicise everything? Damn! |
