I never said India in not good but you need let them know the truth, I hv been to both India and Cyprus and I can differentiate. India in just like naija, don't be fooled by the 60% space mission, we all know that but when it comes to international education, they are simply interested in your cash, they have nothing to offer. Just as Nigeria’s giant of Africa with nothing to show" I will prefer any student go to yabatech than waste time in India, So many students that went never stayed for the second year before they find their way back home or get a better school in another country. And for Cyprus, I will prefer you Google about the country.cos you are talking of racism as if you know the place. I stayed there for more than 5 years and never experienced any racist activity. The government are so serious about education that is why they are opening doors for many international students, no wonder the government offers 50% scholarships for international students, Job Opportunity for students to school and work, Free Transportation for students within the city 24/7, Free WiFi everywhere even in public transport. Discount card for every student to purchase goods at extremely low price, Even tuition are paid on instalment and you have access to fee medicals regardless of your sickness or ailments. What else would you want in a country or can you get such in India or even USA or UK? Be wise and choose right before finding yourself in a country you will regret going.

I hv been to India and I can tell you Nigeria is even better, their poverty Is second to none, why go waste a lot of money studying where my credentials will be useless after schooling. Long live Ikeji Orisha, iku baba yeye, |
NIGERIA HIGHER INSTITUTIONS INCREASE TUITION AGAIN. In a statement released on Thursday by the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) – the University of Ibadan chapter, Dr. Deji Omole, no fewer than 38 universities across Nigeria have increased their school fees. According to reports, the latest increment might be attributed to poor funding by the federal and state governments as ASUU poorly rated the President Muhammadu Buhari in the area of funding of university education. ASUU also noted that it will be difficult for any Nigeria university to effectively compete globally with the attitude of Buhari not to allocate enough budgetary allocation as prescribed by UNESCO to fund education. The statement which assessed the two years of Buhari in office, lamented that the current government had made Nigerians poorer, adding that public education was not taken seriously because most children of the rich and those in high offices do not school in Nigeria. Below is a list of tuition increment in some universities as collated by Vanguard, in the order of institution, old fees, new fees… 1. UNILAG N14,500 – N63,500 2. ABU N27,000 – N41,000 3. UNIUYO N71,000 – N84,250 17. FCET Akoka N16,000 – N40,000 18. Osun Varsity N95,000 – N135,500 19. ANSU N76,000 – N139,000 20. LASU N96,750 – N158,250 21. IBBU N25000 – N52,000 22. IMSU N120,000 – N150,000 23. PLASU N50,000 – N100,000 24. MAPOLY N57,000 – N75,000 25. Ibadan Poly N30,000 – N50,000 26. Abia Poly N56,550 – N61,000 27. Auchi Poly N14,800 – N28,000 28. Osustech N70,000 – N80,000 29. ESUT N104,900 – N124,900 30. KWARAPOLY N28,000 – N44,000 31. LAUTECH N65,000 – N72,500 32. TASUED N66,500 – N76,500 33. Afe Babalola N675,000 – N1,075,000 34. Benson Idahosa N284,300 – N1,150,000.00 Now my questions are as follows, 1) Why do we pay this much for government and church owned institutions and still gets nothing in terms of value for education? 2) Why do our young folks graduate from such schools and still find it difficult to get job at least to reply our parents that hv sacrificed all they have to send us to such schools? 3) Why is our eduction system getting worst by the day and our government are absolutely doing noting about it? 4) Why is our best lecturer leaving this country to lecture abroad leaving us with quack lecturers that are only interested in our money? 5) Why are the senior government officials sending their kids abroad and abandon our own school here in naija? 6) Why are we still using old forgotten curriculum in our schools while are mate abroad are far ahead of us in knowledge ? 7) Why can't a computer science graduate in Nigeria (with his first class) compete favourably with same graduate in China or Cyprus or Singapore or UK or France? Why are we imprisoned for 5 years in the so called school when it's guaranteed that the system is complete waste of time and energy when it's guaranteed that what is learnt in the institution will amount to nothing in real life? Dear friend, my simple and wise solutions to all those is simply to decide within yourself to ensure you also gets the best of education and stop wasting your time in Nigeria institutions. I keep saying that Nigeria's education system is a SCAM and I can repeat it anywhere. The government just want to take you off the street and camp you somewhere. Their kids are the one attending schools abroad. Free yourself from mental slavery. Struggle to school abroad too where their kids are so that all of you can now be equal. That is why we at GLOBAL INFLUENCE are here to help you achieve your dream of studying abroad. Imagine a school tuition in Nigeria amounting to millions and yet u get next to nothing in value of education, Meanwhile you can get a cheaper schools in abroad that will get you best of world class international education! MY LAGOS SUCCESS STORY. . Lagos. Hmmmm when I hear that name Lagos. There’s always this unique feelings I get, that name LAGOS, carries a unique, spiritual, mystic, supernatural and awe meaning in which to me it has a great meaning. To me ,the name Lagos simply means LAND OF OPPORTUNITY, a place that nurture dreams to becoming a reality, a place where everybody can be somebody, I call Lagos my home simply because 90% of my life I spent In Lagos. Now to begin my Lagos success story, I need to root back to my place of birth, the main heart and capital of Lagos. IKEJA. THE BEGINNING. (my birth). And that very great Friday night in the very early 80’s, she sat tired on a couch beside the window watching when his unique vesper motorcycle with this special noticeable sound and a great Doppler effect will bike in, it was a long Friday evening on that faithful day 1st APRIL, the environment seems unusual because, at that time, he ought to be back from work in his ever usual smart looking well ironed uniform looking proud with that great heart-felt smile that will always wipe off the day’s stress and rekindle the atmosphere with love and peace. Most importantly, she endlessly waited for that passionate kiss filled with aroma of love radiating from him every time he returns from work before retiring for the evening meal. Yes!!! It was 1st of APRIL, a very cold Friday night, yet not back from work, a little worried, she decided to sit outside and wait for the love of her life. As the day goes darker, she started feeling something strange in her Tommy, though she was heavily pregnant, she never knew it was time for the great one to see the world for the first time, thanks to the experienced neighbours she had, her scream attracted their attention and of course they knew the hour has come, quickly, every arrangement were made to get her to the hospital but being a wise woman who knew what she was carrying was not just a baby but a special one and knew vividly well that the ‘ayes’ wouldn’t want such to live and make impact in life, she insisted she isn’t going to the hospital, she demanded they took her to the church! Yes, the church because she had been told in her dream to ensure she gives birth in the church because what she’s carrying is a special gift from GOD. Luckily the church isn’t far from home. All thanks to the mid-wives (iya-agbebi’s), lo and behold, the great one was born!!! His tears brought joy and radiant smiles to all in the labour room but something spectacular happened later, being a woman of God, the iya-agbebi looked deep into the eyes of this infant and with deep sense of affirmation, she proclaimed this child is not just any other child, this child is a chosen one, the one sent by God to liberate mankind, this one is a born leader, a great one, and with joy radiating in her face, she ensure she was the one that gave him the first gift. That same night, he rushed in breathing endlessly and sweating like a man just finishing a marathon, still in his proud uniform, walk straight to the labour room looking so anxious asking hundreds of questions without even waiting for answers, finally he was ushered in to set his glowing eyes on his first child! The choosing child! The child that proof he is a real man, with tears of joy in his eyes he lifted the child up! Walk straight to the veranda and said some prayers lifting the child up to the sky as a dedication to God. Decades have passed and that little boy is now a man!!! The hour has come for this great one to begin his manifestation. (To be continued…….) EARLY YEARS Now, I need to clarify where I was born to confirm my Lagos Success Story. With all pride and dignity, this great guy was born in the ever popular HIGHWAY PATROL BAARRACKS… hmmmm, I hear someone muttered ‘’ so he’s a barrack boy’’ YES!!!! I am a full blooded barrack boy. The barracks is located at the heart of Ikeja, and it’s a place that has birthed great minds we have today. Can’t be mentioning many names now but as time goes I will list great men that has their root in the said barracks. Block D flat 27 was the place I lived with my parents before relocating to block W flat 24. So much to be said about this great place but it’s a story for another day. Less I forget, I have the great privilege to grow with great guys that are still my friend even up till now. Great guys like Sir Esene Edward CEO Kinetic Associate and a Google ambassador (my longest standing friend), Barrister Esene Kingsley,(one of the greatest lawyer we have in town today, he’s so good that soon he will be awarded a SAN (the youngest SAN we will have). Others like Mr kenny aka Olori now in USA, Ayegba the young prof also in USA, Kenneth Agba aka the Governor, Rotimi William in USA (not a barrack boy but has barrack blood in him), Ogunnaike Adekunle aka Mr integrity, a very young and dymanic farmer, Promise the musician, Anya Michael now in UK, Bamidele Oyeniran aka Omooba, one of the best photographer we have in town, Mr Fola Lijoka aka anigboro, the most stubborn guy we fear so much then, Madam Toyin my crush then(now in UK), Madam Joyce our beautiful princess, I remember she was the one that gave us the opportunity to feature on the nation newspaper those days when global influence started as an NGO., and so many others I cannot mention now. (don’t worry all will be stated in my coming book), those great guys made my growing up fun. Then no phone or internet, but believe me, we had the best of time growing up. Sometimes I just wished we go back to those glorious days, those days we played in the rain, ride tyres round the community, acted police and thief, shoot wooding guns made with pipe and smoke, used rubber band as foreign exchange. Most importantly doing festive periods like Christmas, when our parents gets us new cloths and we go round every home where we eat to stupor and come home with a lot of cash. Unfortunately this new generations really missed a great deal, internet hardly gave any of them the opportunity to really hang out in real time,. I call them the indomine generations. Those days are days never to be forgotten. Back to the early days. Just like any other kids, I started my early education in the then Central primary school just directly opposite Lagos State Police Command. Before then, I recollect that my parent enrolled me in a private nursery school somewhere around Agege, can’t remember the name but will find out later. I was told I was the only one attending a private school then which amounts to envy in the community. Then people were wondering how a common constable could afford the pay for a private school. But later my dad re-enrolled my in the said central primary school, was there till I got to primary 4. But due to numerous strike by government and the MKO Abiola issue, My dad need change my school and I was transferred to a more standard and even expensive school by the name Mowand Crest nur/pry School Maryland Ikeja, still Lagos. ( to be continued……………………..)

SIRmanjar:point of correction: ONI OF IFE is the king of all YORUBA empire within and outside Nigeria. be it in USA, Brazil, BENIN REPUBLIC, South America, anywhere you have Yoruba descendant, but Oba of Lagos is just a BAALE of ISALE EKO. his supremacy cannot go beyond that line. he is nobody in Mushin, Ikeja, Agege and the likes cos they have their own king. |

THE CONTAINER SHOP I RENTED WAS ON CREDIT, I STARTED WITH IDEA NOT MONEY. I DID MY MARKETING MYSELF, I PASTE POSTERS MYSELF AT MIDNIGHT COS I CAN'T AFFORD TO PAY SOMEONE TO DO THAT FOR ME. The same barracks have 3 beautiful churches and I found out one of the church even has an air conditioner, the building next to the church is about to collapse too. Yet our Christian brothers can spend millions building a church and completely ignore the welfare of those they are coming to preach to, I'm sure if Christ were to be alive now, his priority will be the welfare of the people not the building. Churches have turned to a business centre as those families in the barracks will still contribute offering every Sunday to the church right? Christianity in Africa is still one thing I'm trying to understand I believe a lot still need to be done cos that barracks have more than 40 two" storey buildings and most in a sorry state. Only one building was recently renovated and even the renovation is simply painting nothing more. My appeal to our government is to as a matter of urgency renovate the barracks and that's not all, probe those commissioners and provost in charge of barracks maintenance, because I leant that in the budget of the Nigeria Police, they have yearly allocation for barracks renovation and yet that barracks have never being renovated since 1970;s That simply means the alloted money is in someone's pocket.

We all woke up to hear the sad news of a police building collapsing on Christmas Day. I decided to visit the place it happen and I was shocked to my knees when I saw where human creatures lives .to be candid I can't believe human being stay in such a location. I have followed some Christian body on visitation to kirikiri prison and I complained bitterly due to the poor living conditions. when I saw this barracks, I will prefer any citizen commit crime and stay in kirikiri than to stay in such barracks. It was really an eye saw, now I completely understand why our police are so brutal. We wake up everyday and blame a police officer for any shit that happens to us. Honesty speaking, when taking the pictures, I can't even go close to the buildings for fear of collapse. What did our officers did wrong Deserve this? Yet we gave them guns to protect us and our family. That moment I thought of being an officer with a gun, I swear I will personally commit murder to live a better life cos I will never protect any politicians, the gun will be used against them. "Fact". I hv never seen a disgraced scene as such and funny the barracks Is in the heart of ikeja capital of Almighty Lagos. When leaving I personally gave about 5 different traffic police men I met some cash "without them asking o". I just felt so much pity for Them. see their children? God! It's just a shame, yet the same Barracks have 3 beautiful churches, those people need a better apartment not churches. Based on my research, I discovered the last collapse building was last renovated in the 70's. Yet the building have 27 rooms and over populated. In some rooms, they have 2 different families sharing one apartment. All the kitchens have been converted to rooms. (to be continued) ...
|
I know that block very well, so sad we have the most useless government on earth. I knew until someone dies in that block, govt will never show interest, That block was last renovated in the 70's. There was a time that same building was shaken, all effort to call government attention to it prove abortive, the painful fact Is that every year, the nig police allocate funds for renovation of all barracks but some devil in human form will pocket the money and NOTHING will happen. This is the time the press need do great investigative work an bring those murderers to book. So sad this took lives but I'm happy the world will get to see the dungeon our police officers are living. The same officers we gave guns to so that they can protect us. I can bet our prisons are far better than those barracks. So when you see a policeman misbehaving, you should know where their anger emanate from. God bless our nation and punish our corrupt leaders. ![]() |
Why are we imprisoned for 5 years in the so called school when it's guaranteed that the system is complete waste of time and energy when it's guaranteed that what is learnt in the institution will amount to nothing in real life?
