1) Check and make sure your laptop is easily accessible to fresh air: some laptops gets hot and thus causes it to trip off.

2) Your battery might be going bad, remove the battery, plug your laptop into power and power it on, if it still trips off then that is not the problem.

3) a virus might have corrupted your files and thus triggered some kind of virus.

I agree some nigerians abroad are there to get rich by any means but no more than those who remain at home.
