Yeah bro not in all case ...we dont work at the embassy and we have no idea how they make their conclusion for Visa issuance. A sister of mine got UK Visa with 25k naira balance only, although I would like to think that it can only be possible for a frequent traveler/applicant. She'd been to the UK a lot of times before. They know you not going to remain in their country because of your previous history of travel with them. That's what matters to them

Having said that, I dont think a first time applicant would stand a chance of getting Tourist Visa with a bank balance of N300k especially for a schengen Visa, you'd be denied for insufficient funds

davodyguy:

People make some comparison that can't hold ground.

It's like saying you built a 3 bedroom flat on Ikorodu for ₦3million and you say same amount can be used in Ajah. This can't work because from Lekki Phase1 down to Sangotedo is water logged, meaning you need to spend more on the foundation alone.

That ₦150,000 can't even buy her a return ticket, talkless of paying transportation and hotel at the same time. Except if she's a student being sponsored 100% by another person

Well you have submitted pretty much what it takes to get the Visa but some external factors do apply and they are best known by the VO, with that said, look at these:
1.How did you present your introductory letter?
2.Have you got any travel history before.
3.How does cash flow in and out your bank account within a period of 3 months

I think the above counts a lot

The only reason tick was purpose of visit. Again, I thought maybe because I applied in January.

Globetrotter, thank you. Please I have my introduction I used last time and all these were carefully itemized. Can someone please help with review?

Please can you help proof read? Please

I don't know but I think you want more details on purpose of visit and to me that means what your cover letter should cover...so my little insight goes thus:

1.First introduce ur self stating your name, name of your company, your position in the company, what the company does, make reference to show evidence of your company's registration which u have submitted. Evidence of your company's activities

2.Second paragraph should talk about the trip, what it means to you or your company, what you would gain from the trip, its importance. What you intend to do there during your stay

3.Here on the third paragraph, state how u intend to fund the trip, from where the money is coming from with references

4.Now on this paragraph state places you intend to visit ,mention names and addresses, also state where you would stay

5. Conclusion, state your Itinerary like from where you intend flying from and your first point of contact. Then your subsequent activities with time schedules until you depart and then mention your destination after departure with references to your flight Itinerary.

I hope this helps somehow

Could you tell what your occupation is and also other docs you have submitted as proof of means of subsistence besides bank statement of 2M?? Only after that one can be able to tell something

jj17cv:
Pls house how help on how to tackle .....

You have not provided proof of sufficient means of subsistence, for the duration of the intended stay or for the return to the country of origin or residence, or for the transit to a third country into which you are certain to be admitted, or you are not in a position to acquire such means lawfully.....with account balance of 2m

Wow, sounds really right. I think they followed my Itinerary, the number of days of stay in my application. I'd thought I could stay up to 15 days continuously then exit, and not more than 15 days and get in again as i am actually going there from Edinburgh
Cyberknight:

It means that your total number of days spent in the Schengen zone within the validity of the visa (i.e. between 1 June and 1 July) should not exceed 15 days, irrespective of how many times you enter and exit.

If you applied for a multi-entry visa, you must have given them an itinerary which involves your exiting the Schengen zone (not just France) and re-entering it again and unless it is an error, you were issued a multiple entry visa on the strength of this itinerary. Where possible, try and stick to this itinerary and/or do not alter it radically without demonstrable good reason.

I think purpose of visit should be what the trip is all about, how it would benefit you, details of places u would be seeing, addresses of places to visit too and they should relate to where you would be putting up during your trip..for instance u are visiting multiple cities and intend to stay in one city or different cities or in different hotels u should elaborate on that so the VO can understand your schedules, you know, how u plan to manage transportation between the cities or within the same city, how u intend to manage the duration of the trip which u have stated ,just be clear as much as u can and summarize as much as you can too in the simplest of English terms remember you dealing with the French

Good day wonderful nairalanders. Been following this thread codely like a needle and today I picked up my passport with one month France tourist Visa . It feels really good cos have been denied b4 when I tried Italy in 2015. I got most info from here. Thanks again wonderful people.

One quick question mighty house..My Visa validity is dated from 1 June 2019 to 1 July 2019 and duration of stay is 15 days though it's a multiple entry Visa.. I need some clearance here cos I'm kind of confused about that 15 days stay duration

My question is can I stay up to 15 days on first trip and exit , then travel again to else where within the schengen region outside France before the expiration of the Visa since it's a multi entry visa?

Dear Gurus in the House , your help/advice is highly needed here . I want to visit the UK , i have actually gone there once on a family visiting visa(invitation), now i intend to visit there again on my own with no one inviting me . How can i go about it and what are my chances of getting the visa again without an Invitation from someone there. Thanks
