Sir,lent began yesterday. So are corpers suppose to be in camp during fasting?.
Two more weeks for Christian corpers in camp while fasting.
Ramadan fasting begins around 2nd April so that will be 5 days or thereabout if batch B stream 2 commences on the 18th of March.

So why should Christian corpers fast for over 14 days in camp and NYSC reschedule Batch B stream 2 because of the Ramadan fast?.

Would it not be injustice?

PCMs are not expected to be in camp during Ramadan fasting. It's less than 30 days to fasting. Meaning stream 2 are scheduled for April while fasting will commence early April

Last year stream 2 were called up after Ramadan fasting around May, while stream 1 had gone since March before fasting

Btw, NYSC are likely to reschedule but i doubt stream 2 will get called up while Ramadan fasting will be on during camping activities

Before releasing the timetable, they could have considered the Ramadan fasting as they were fixing dates. It's just like saying PCMs are not expected to be in camp during easter.

I heard stream 2 camping will start 18th March. But that of stream 1 is ends on the 15th of March. So, stream 2 camping is definitely next month.

During batch B stream 1 printing of call up letter, I was so hopeful that I'll go with stream 1 because my friends that we registered the same time, they all got their call up letter. Only for me to check and saw "you're in stream..." I felt really bad then. But, I got so many things that I wouldn't have gotten if I had gone with stream 1. So, at the end, I was so so happy that I didn't get to go with stream 1. So, don't be sad okay. It's just few weeks to stream 2. That will even give you more time to prepare for the camping too.

I applied for direct posting though. I don't know if that has anything to do with why I was not included in stream 1.

It showed "You are in stream 2. We will let you know when to print your call up letter"
