Mayflowa: The VO did his job well for not giving you guys, albeit this is a sad news for you. You guys seem to be living a good life here in Nigeria. You and your husband are Engineers, with good job while where you are going is going to make your husband depend on you by US immigration law. So how does a Mechanical Engineer stay 2 to 3 years depending on his wife without access to personal earnings. Of course, he is going to become rusty!
To make matter worse, u going to school where you have all your families. Why didn't just name one distance family alone. There are just sometimes you have to withold some infos. You lack home ties. Everything points to your vanishing into America without looking back. You see why you won't give the visa to yourself if you were the VO.
It's good you applying alone now. It seems to wanna change a good career. Why don't you say MSc would give you a career edge in your job place. That it's easier to get into the management circle with a Master in your workplace and u think you ready to take on managerial responsibility. That shows a kind of home ties to your job.
Your husband can join you give two to three months you are there. It's easy for him to tell the VO he misses his wife, you guys are young couple and want to visit before coming back to his job in Nigeria.
The reason for F2 is to make sure he can visit you anytime for as long as you are student. The VOs hardly deny spouses going to see their student partners.
Goodluck on your next interview Thanks very much. I appreciate |

OluDare01: Hey! Sorry about your denial. If I understand well, you're the student, right? This is what you'd do. Schedule another appointment and apply for F1. When you get to the states, your husband can apply for F2, it makes things easier that way. won't they deny him? Saying we still wanna immigrate? |

Oseni007: Sorry about the refusal, please post your transcript for people to help you critically analyze. To schedule another appointment you will need to wait 24hrs for the old interview booking to wipe from your profile dashboard afterwards you click on schedule new appointment and fill appropriately. Better still after filling your new DS form go to your profile and click update profile from the dashboard, remove the old DS form number and insert the new old. Best of luck on your next interview. Cheers. Hello everybody. I went for students visa interview with my hubby on F2. I need to travel with him as we are young couple without any kid. Please gurus in the house kindly analyse my transcript. Me: Good morning Vo: Good morning Vo: he is ur husband? Me: yes mam Vo:What's ur highest qualification Me: B. Eng mechanical engineering Vo: when did u obtain it Me: 2010 Vo: why did it take you 7yrs to further ur education? Me: mam it's actually 5yrs because I completed my Nysc in 2012. Meanwhile, after graduating as top 3 from my department my school showed interesting absorbing me as a lecture but I needed industry experience to be a better engineer before going back to the classroom. So I feel it is the right time to advance my degree so I can actualise my lecturing ambition. Vo: what have you been doing since then? Me: I have been working as an engineer. I worked with xyz company as project engineer and currently with xyz company as maintenance supervisor Vo: why are u going for ur masters Me: I want to invest in my future and also actualise my quest for research works so that I can contribute to existing knowledge as undergraduate studies only prepares students to understand and apply existing knowledge. Vo: How many schools did unspoken to? Me: 3 mam (new jersey institute of technology, Morgan State University and California state university Los Angeles) Vo: so only Morgan State university admitted u Me: no mam I also got admitted by California state university Vo: why did u choose Morgan State university Me: because asides having an exceptional curriculum that suits my program of study, they also have provision for facilities, equipment and resources suitable for my research exploration which is on..... So cuts in Vo: how many years have u been married? Me: 3yrs Vo: any kids yet? Me: none mam Vo: any relatives in the US? Me: yes mam (my big cousin, my mum's sister and my mum's brother) Vo: where do they stay Me: they all stay in Bowie maryland Vo: sir, whats ur occupation Hubby: am a mechanical engineer Vo typed for sometime and told us sorry mam u don't qualify for a non immigrant visa as u show no ties with your home country. She then handed me a blue paper of denial under section 214b. Please house, I have paid to apply alone this time because I truly want to go for studies. I would appreciate ur advice on better ways to get my hubby come with me, I can't concentrate if we are living separately. We have been married for 3yrs but have lived together for just 1yr because we both work at different states before I resigned to join him. So I don't want us to be apart again. Please help a sister. I am very sorry for the long post but just had to table it down the way it is. |

folmus: This question has been discussed here on many occasions. Even if you applied to one school, you must have checked other schools and settled for one since you won't be attending 3 or 4 schools at the same time. Expressions like ' I considered 3 schools but settled for this uni( the one you are going). Then ready for other normal questions like why this? Hope this settles your worries. Thank you very much |

preciouschydo: VISA TRANSCRIPT Visa approved on June 29, 2017 @ Lagos Consulate. Sorry this is coming late It was God who made it all possible and I thank him immensely. I have been a follower of this thread and read the old transcripts as advised by great minds of this community. I want to specially thank Bigfrancis21, he is truly beyond description as a friend and helped me a great deal all through the process.
It rained that morning and the security guys were far less concerned to know cold dey nack me dat morning regardless of my tie, lol!!! The interview was smooth. I was interviewed by an older lady above 40 years on June 29, 2017. She had denied two applicants right in front of me. Well they somehow where not clinical during their interview, one guy was speaking phonetics with her while the other lady was busy saying she applied one school because her aunty leaves close to the school. Mine lasted less than 3mins. I didn’t have smile on me that morning, reasons I don’t know why. Not typical me. I walked up to her, no smiles on my face at least not after the rain don nama me wella and my glasses had bubbles on it. ME: I greeted her sharply as she is elderly, no smiles on my face and passed my Passport alongside I20 VO: she typed and turned with no single line of smile or grin in her face and asked when did you finish High school ME: 2007 VO: Bachelors? ME: 2012 VO: what have you been doing since then? ME: I have worked a couple of places but I currently work in an ISP company in lagos as a Technical Support Engineer and my current work experience motivated me to pursue further studies in cybersecurity (I was pretty fast in reply but she cuts in) VO: **Cuts in; how many schools did you apply? ME: three. Apart from Umd, University of Texas ElPaso and Morgan State university VO: how many acceptable? ME: I got offer from UTELP but a decline from MSU VO: Why do you choose University of Maryland? ME: Because UMD is one of the top 25 best university in Engineering in US and have one of the best Cybersecurity centre *** VO: ***Cuts in*** not typing this time, looked so straight on my face with no smile still and asked; What does your Father do? ME: I was surprised as I indicated my Uncle as sponsor. But I replied: He is a successful business man that is into importation of tailoring materials from *** VO : ***cuts in***, I will approve your visa, ***didn’t hear the rest***…she continued** please try study your books and have fun in US during your study. Miraculously the long awaited grin and smiles emanated from her face ME: but too bad still no smiles on my face, I just say thanks and struggled with a grin.
I balled out thankful to GOD. The interview was like a flash (3-4Mins) and God was all involved with guidance from Bigfrancis21. Wishing all future Applicants success but please never you say you applied one school. Please never ever say so. It’s a damn red flag…. NEVER SAY YOU APPLIED TO ONE SCHOOL!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!
I AM REPOSTING THIS SO THAT SOME PEOPLE WILL NOT SAY, I DIDNT INCLUDE EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED. THERE IS NO ISSUE BEING SO MAD IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY FIRST POST. ENJOY THE EXPLICITE AND GOOD LUCK IN YOUR SEARCH FOR SCHOOLS AND VISA. GOD BLESS OUR HUSTLE Please what's ur advice to someone who applied to only one university to respond to that question. |

No work was done on it except when a mechanic inspected my throttle body and an electrician changed a certain relay that powers my compressor because the engine is low and that was like a month earlier |

Dear all, I parked my Toyota Camry 2007 and traveled for a period of two weeks. When I returned and used the car, I noticed it was not accelerating. It goes on reverse and drives, but dose not accelerate no matter how I throttle. I consulted a mechanic who said it could be bad oil or blocked filter. I changed the oil and cleaned the filter, yet the issue was not resolved. I then decided to do diagnosis after which this code was generated: P0798, pls may someone help me decode this and advice on how and where I can get this sorted out in Port Harcourt Thanks! |

mommatriplets: pls go for a 2nd opinion, dipping hands into a,nus to check for blockage??!!.. as per fertility?...never heard of such b4, weighing scrotum is ok. look for a urologist, there are many in ph, 2ndly i think he should start taking sperm boosting supplements now, either herbal or english
fertilsan m, fertileaid, addyzoa etc...do ur research for herbal, various agbo drinks hv been advertised, also onion and honey n guava leave therapy dey too. u need to take charge, reseach and take the best option, above all pray.
@fruitfulvine 30, i think cutting off the left tube is the best route to go, u wud still have 1 patent tube, thus you could continue trying naturally or go the ivf route, without disadvantages Thank you very much @mommatriplets. Your post will really be helpful. |

wonyi: Do we have Nisa prima in ph? wow....that's great! ! ! .pls what are their charges? Has DH screen for infection? I know of proxeed plus n fertile aid both are good supplements for men,but u have to pick one. . If u are going natural for now, consult a Urologist . There's one at Rumuomasi, heard he trained abroad n has over 20 years experience. And once it comes up , u can start with IUI or straight to ICSI. If his job doesn't take him out of town try iui, i pray u achieve result with your first trial. With 10 million sperm cells u can achieve your result otherwise icsi or Tese.
While he is taking his medication u should be seeing a gynaecologist.dont get tired.n remember to Pray n ask God to direct your steps. Be loving n Peaceful. yeah! Nisa prime is now in ph. Thank you for the post. Kindly assist with the address or contact details of the urologist. Thank you as i anticipate your response. |

Please house my husband's semen was recently analyzed and the result says he has no sperm count (i.e 0 millions) and we have been TTC for 3yrs now. A doctor (not a urologist) carried out physical examination by weighing his scrotums and dipping hands into his anus to confirm if there is a blockage. He then said that the scrotum's weight is normal and the anus track is free which indicates there is no blockage. He recommended that he undergoes hormonal profile test which he has also done but will take a month before the result is out. Meanwhile, i am believing its just a hormonal issue which means that supplements can boost sperm production. My question is: 1. Is the physical examination a true test for blockage? 2. who knows about Nisa-prime fertility centre in port harcourt. I Learjet from a friend that they have good success rate and that they are cheaper when it comes to IVF,IUI, ICSI and the likes. I want to gather the whole information i need to prepare myself if it boils down to that. Please house, anyone who has used Nisa-prime should share his/her experience. May God see us through this journey successfully. Thanks. |
