So I finally had the time to deal with this fan issue today. We were finally able to get it to work. Did you deliver the fan? Yes. But did I get the quality I paid for? No! Mind you we got two other rechargeable fans delivered this week and only yours had the issues I'm going to list here.
- First you told me the fan was 18 inches. I confronted you after I picked it up and you kept lying to my face that it's 18". I did a search of the model number online and it was the 16-inches. Infact, the model number has 16 in it. If you like, keep denying, I will upload the model number here. This means you sold a 16+inches to me at the price of 18 inches.
- Another issue is missing parts. The fan is missing the screw that's supposed to hold the top part and the stand together. Which means we can't move it around. We had to use glue to hold it together. Then there's no belt to hold the blade covers. Till now we can't cover the blade. You asked me to go and look for where it's being sold and you'll pay for it. Why should I have to go through that type of stress when I paid for a complete product?
- Lastly, there's no led indicator to show that the fan is charging when the fan is switched off. The lights only turn on when the fan is working.

My conclusion is that the whole stress and amount I paid didn't correlate with the quality I received. I'm waiting for the fan belt as we can't use it without covering the blade.

You must have a valid identification, provide your freelancer profile link or LinkedIn and wait for few days for your USD account to be approved. Also, they're strict with the source of money you receive in the account. You shouldn't have any issues if you're just transferring funds from your Payoneer or using it on a freelancing platform. But if you're giving the USD account to clients directly, be prepared that they will put the money on hold at times to ask the sender to provide proof of the services you provided. This is to limit Yahoo guys from using their platform. Geegpay is also crazy like that. Even Wise too. Your source of funds will determine if you'll be having issues with your account.

@op try Grey, Geegpay. Their verification is strict but they have good exchange rates. I get paid via Wise and send to Grey to exchange to naira. Grey also works with Payoneer, and you can use it directly (Just give the virtual USD account details from Grey to your employer.

The 20$ in your WISE account is just to have a US bank account or any other accepted WISE bank account. You can receive money even without having the US bank account. Once you've registered and verified with your ID documents, you can get paid with just sending your email to the sender. US bank account is an added incentive. To answer your question, you can have someone pay in 20$ to your wise account maybe by sending you wise funds. PLEASE first verify your wise with your ID before you start receiving funds. Wise is no longer for only transfers which they primarily were before. Now they offer full banking services(of course with V license). You can have a USA traditional bank account, GBP, EURO etc, with verification...

At the moment you can still use your WISE account to receive $$ from your clients... it will remain in dollars in your account without being automatically changed to Naira like before, so you will sell to someone who will give you Naira ( that is where we come in, with a sweet rate too)... so go ahead and create a Wise account and get paid with your wise email address and ask them to send you $$$ through your email...
